    25 Lessons Before Turning 25

Everyone will tell you that turning 25 is a milestone, of sorts. Quarter century. It's almost like a coming of age or a rite of passage. But let's be honest, so many people turn 25 without exactly coming into that age. I was inspired to create this list by my friend Nicole, who has a blog called On Her Own Terms. In a recent post, she created a list of things she's working on. Since we're halfway through this year and I'm halfway through my 25th year, I decided to share my list of the 25 things you must learn, or work on, before turning 25.

In the second episode of Coco's Chat, I sat down with Pierry Benjamin, a young, black business owner and a child of immigrant parents who was raised in an urban neighborhood, who happens to be a Republican. Not only is Pierry a Republican, he is extremely involved in both his party, and his community. He also has some pretty strong (and arguably convincing) arguments for why more blacks should be registered as Republican. Here are my thoughts on the topic and the current state of the black community Follow Coco: Instagram: www.instagram.com/CocoGawdess Twitter: www.twitter.com/TheCocoGawdess YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3OC...
