A limited run podcast fangirling on Calisto 6, a limited run cyberpunk superhero RPG on Project Alpha. There will rambling and craft talk.
Ramblings over the final episode of Callisto 6's first season. This was a really fun experiment! Thank you for going on the journey with me!
I do mention Issue #11, but I admit that I get ranty on being a civil servant, especially as a librarian. Bottom line: VOTE bit.ly/2zgsZYd
Short little ep with musings on identity shifts (thank you, Hector and Amy!) and a proposal for a charity movement like #scarvesforcaleb called #capsforsal
I admittedly get a little soapboxy as I muse on names, identites, and the power of genre fiction as a call to action.
A sound listicle of my random thoughts while watching Issue #8. I also may have compared Xander to Paul Lynde.
"Look for the helpers" is what Mr. Rogers said. In the question of our team going public or not with their personas, I talk about helpers--the power of the people, the power of Oya's patron spirit (whoever they may be), and my own helpers when things look bleak.
Some brief thoughts on leadership for this team and a book recommendation--Warcross by Marie Lu
For a character that barely shows up, I take a ridiculous deep dive into what foxes bring to mind--their mythology, symbolism, and behavior. I also present my conspiracy theory as to who the Fox in the Top Hat is, as well as my creative response. And what about my knitted robot? Stay foxy!
In a really short episode, I muse a little more on family, show my distrust towards Hopp's perspective, and dream about making a version of Sweet Baby (who will probably destroy us all in the end)
Family--chosen or given--can be weird and tricky .... and necessary. I discuss the families of Callisto 6 as support for our heroes. (Special thanks to Hector Navarro for his input.) I also talk about @Thessur's amazing Canisto 6.
I break down my initial thoughts on the main characters; go on a pedantic mini-rant about accents (and apologize heartily to Bonnie); muse on Luma and Lacy in comparison to parenting my differently wired child (while being differently wired myself); and dream about character creation for myself. Plus knitting. Plus Sweet Baby.
Discussion of "day after tomorrow" setting, living in a post-disaster world, and what I've started knitting. May contain Issue #1 spoilers.
Introducing a rambly podcast about the new Project Alpha RPG show, Callisto 6.
