Exploring various forms of house music, The Expressions Sessions range between tech-house, to progressive and electro, with smatterings of the occasional broken beat and even downtempo. Mixed by the promising talent of American DJ Evan Alexander, this series promises to be an expression of his pass…
It's been some time since I've put together a mix outside of the weekly ones I do for my radio show. I figured that it was about time and that the coming summer was a good enough of a reason to do so. Named after a drink at Saucebox in Portland, OR, where I do a weekly set of similar style, this mix will be best enjoyed pool-side, like the name suggests. Deep house and nu-disco come together in a sexy combination of vocals, deep basslines, and funky synths.1. Justin Martin - Hood Rich2. Adana Twins - Everyday3. Another great broadcast on 107.1 fm in Portland, OR!
Week 2 of my new radio broadcast on 107.1fm KZME -- this mix is a mixture of progressive house and electro tunes. Enjoy!
This is the first installment of my new weekly radio show on KZME 107.1fm here in Portland, OR. The show will be airing every Saturday night, from 8-10 p.m. PST, and available to stream live on www.kzme.fm. I'll post all past shows on my podcast after their air date.
Deeper, progressive techiness, that's hauntingly beautiful moves into more upbeat progressive to polish off this mix. Some of you may have heard this on my soundcloud (soundcloud.com/evanalexander), but it's one of my personal favorites, so I thought I'd add it to the podcast. Enjoy!
