The bank robbers, however, are on their trail, fearing identification.Unfortunately, the uncle isn't the savior Tino was hoping for, and he sells him out to the robbers. After thrilling car chases, Michael and K.I.T.T. track them to a field, where luckily K.I.T.T. is able to stop a thresher from harming them. The robbers are apprehended and the day is saved! You've no doubt seen Tom McComas flash across the big screen, usually falling off a building or wheelying a motorcycle through rush-hour traffic. That's because he's a bonafide Hollywood stuntman. McComas credits his career choice to a best-selling self-help book, “What Color is Your Parachute?” Summing it up, he says, “Figure out what you like to do, and find out a way to get paid doing it.” McComas discovered his first love, motorcycling, growing up in Chicago. Bitten by the competition bug, he road raced for six years before discovering he could get paid to crash bikes. “I thought, ‘I'm not afraid to fall down. I like to fight. Let's go!'” His big break? Doubling actor David Hasselhoff on the popular 1990s television series “Baywatch.” McComas has since chalked up hundreds of appearances in film and on TV. “Getting into stunts was so difficult,” he says in reflection. “There's a lot of rejection. I'm really grateful to be in the position I'm in, because I don't go to work, I go to  play . Esel musterte ihn. „Nee. Genscher ist dicker.“ „Oder mit Bart.“ „Wo sind wir hier überhaupt? Und wann? Wer sind die Menschen hier alle?“ Der Mann begann zu sprechen. Unten wurde es still. „Wir sind heute zu Ihnen gekommen …“ „Oh“, sagte Teddy. „Das kommt mir bekannt vor, das ist doch Kennedy.“ „Nein, ich glaube, das ist ein Konzert, das ist David Hasselhoff.“ „… um Ihnen mitzuteilen …“, setzte der Mann am Balkon fort. Hinten verstand man nichts, vorne wurde schon gezappelt. Una adaptación que hoy se mira con estupor, risa nerviosa y un poco de vergüenza ajena, pero que en su día alguien pensó que era buena idea. Seguimos con Doom, una película que logró lo imposible: tener marines espaciales, demonios y un videojuego mítico… y aun así aburrir. Aquí hablamos de decisiones creativas incomprensibles, fidelidad al material original cogida con pinzas y un tramo final en primera persona que parece una demo mal ejecutada. Ciencia ficción, terror y videojuego mezclados como si nadie hubiera leído el manual. Y cerramos el aquelarre con Ghost Rider, la versión más desatada del motorista infernal, con fuego digital, calaveras en llamas y un tono que no sabe si quiere ser oscura, camp o directamente un desmadre. Efectos irregulares, villanos discutibles y un espíritu noventero tardío que hoy se disfruta casi más como comedia involuntaria que como película de superhéroes. Todo esto comentado sin filtros, con sarcasmo, ironía y muchas risas, en una charla donde se reparten hostias a diestro y siniestro pero también se reconoce el encanto trash de estas adaptaciones. Variety got the scoop on the Emmy-nominated actor joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but no details on who he's playing were announced. Move over Marvel and DC…Archie is here to take us by storm? In an interesting move from filmmakers Phil Lord and Chritopher Miller, Universal is fronting an Archie adaptation for the big screen. Comics legend Tom King is writing the screenplay and former 20th Century Studios President of Production Emma Watts is producing. King made the leap from page to screen recently in the DCU, penning Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow and the Lanterns series, but is well-known for his comics in Marvel, DC, and beyond. The CW show Riverdale adapted the Archie comics in its own unique way and plot details for this film are unknown. Universal also produced a version of the Archie characters in Josie and the Pussycats in 2001. Though we sing the praises for AppleTV+ loudly and frequently on this show, we've also often touted it as being one of the more inexpensive streaming services. Alas, all good things come to an end, as the streamer announced its cost jumped from $9.99 to $12.99 effective August 21. The annual rate of $99.99 has not changed yet. As of now, AppleTV+ stands alone as the only streamer that doesn't have an ad-supported option. Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry have joined the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Keen will play Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt. Saara Chaudry will play Zoë Nightshade, an immortal hunter and Artemis' lieutenant.Guardians of the Galaxy and Jumaji star Karen Gillan has joined the cast of the Amazon MGM's Highlander reboot and will play Heather, the love interest of Henry Cavill's character.The first trailer for season 13 of Futurama has been released.
