I recently read a good definition of shyness and the goes like this. If you see people sitting against the wall at a party one is an introvert and the other one is Shy. The introvert house or back to the wall because they want to observe the party in the Chi person has her back to the wall because they feel like they need to be there, on the outside looking in.
