This is just an introduction on what this podcast will be about. I’m a little nervous. Lol. But I’m hoping I can grow and get some feedback and help some ladies who is suffering from PPD or any other conditions. This will be talking about real life and real life experiences. Just to reassure you that there are others that can relate. May have not walked the same walk, but their stories are similar. As you all may know I’m very open with my experience with postpartum depression. I created this page because I want all women to be able to come discuss their challenges with postpartum, but I also want women to just be able to have open discussions about topics that they may feel like no one else will understand. Many are ashamed to say that they’re battling with postpartum, anxiety, life, etc., I thought I would be judged because of how honest I was and am about my journey, but in return I’ve had women reach out to me stating they’re going through the same fight. It’s my aspiration to be able to still uplift others and reminding them we’re in this together. Yes, I’m still GROWING through this, but let’s not do it alone. Yes, I’m still in this battle, but IM NOT ALONE. I want you to find comfort with not only speaking with me, but speaking with any other woman. This is why I chose HERstory because it’s ours to tell without being afraid. H= HEALING E= EMPOWERMENT R= REFORM
