This episode is all about COVID struggles but you WILL love it. Why? Because we do not use the word “unprecedented” even once(Seriously that word needs to retire). What we do is recognize the complex international journey during this collectively difficult time and offer some thoughts on getting over the hurdles and pseudo wisdom. All from your fellow “aliens” going on almost 10 years in this country and coming at you consistently every 9 months through this podcast.

InjerGer is back for another season! As we all collectively turned the calendar into a new decade recently, Meti and Sinini reflect on their “pivot" points in life - emotionally charged moments that change the course of your direction. For some, these moments happen to them, while others make them happen. Team InjerGer take turns describing what those moments were in their respective lives and discuss how these points can impact the experience of the international student. You've graduated! Now what? Team Injerger talks about what happens after you throw your graduation caps to the air. One thing is for sure, they don't come back with a job interview from heaven. We discuss the exhilarating ride that is senior year and the soul / job search process that precedes or follows the "big day". We're here to let you know that you can survive outside of a college campus — and also, if you have an idea cooking for two years, that's perfectly fine. As part of a generation that has completed the most intercontinental migration and as students on that journey, Sinini and Meti explore the idea of home. It's easy to answer the questions of origin or geography but when it comes to answering to where home is, things get tricky. Is home where the bed is? Is it where your family is? Or Is it Dubai?
