Innovations in Integration

Liana Honsinger is the Case Management Worker and Volunteer Coordinator with the New Canadians Centre Peterborough. She joins Tyler to discuss their Refugee Support Teams of volunteers who are instrumental in helping new families of Government Assisted Refugees to navigate their new community.

Roxanne Gilroy-Machado, Manager of Language Programs and Settlement Services with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario in the Sarnia-Lambton region, joins Tyler to discuss her unique program that brought together newcomer youth and youth from Aamjiwnaang First Nation to learn about each other and discover what they might have in common.
