Here we are with our second episode. :-)In this month's episode, we got the opportunity to interview an expert in our own field! We were at the weakly electric fish meeting in Gülpe, Germany, where we interviewed Dr. Harold H. Zakon, professor at the University of Texas at Austin. We learned about what drives evolution and how to communicate science. We hope you have as much fun as we did!
Our guest this episode is Dr. Uwe Firzlaff. He is a group leader in the department of Zoology at the Technical University of Munich. We talked about the diversity of bats and why they are perfect for studying the auditory system. Did you know that bat species make up 1/5 of mammalian species? We didn't. ;) Hope you enjoy!Photo by Igam Ogam on Unsplash
