This channel discusses life and the issues we all face: Work, life, love, children, movies, social media and all sorts of things that we are never taught.
Learning should be fun and age appropriate. It seems like too many toddlers and little kids are being forced to learn stuff they don't need to get ahead. There are things they should know but let's not go overboard.
The Baby was playing nearby and I thought it was a perfect chance to interview her. I hope that some day she, when she is older, she will listen to it. I wish I had stuff like this of me. Her answers are typical 4-year-old stuff. And with a cute little voice that will soon be telling me I'm dumb.
The binary world of thinking is nice....but not practical. It's ok to do your own thing (within reason). And go find the crazy and have a good smile. If I prayed, I would pray for them.
A tribute to John McCain. We might not have agreed on everything but what an American Hero. From POW during Vietnam to Senator to Presidential Candidate. A man that we should all aspire to emulate. It is over my self imposed 5 minute mark but....
The world looks different than the map we see on the wall. The Mercator Projection is a popular map from the 1500's that makes navigation easy but doesn't really represent countries in proportion to reality. Google is helping.
Where did coffee come from? And what is happening in that part of the world today?
My son teaches me how to be a dad. Inadvertanly. He wanted to discuss an old music video. I wanted to say don't you have better things to do with your time. But I realized he's just being a teenager. That's what they do. That's what I did. I turned out ok....generally.
This episode is the 'why' does this podcast exist. There is very little information about my ancestors, beyond the surface material: their names, when were they born... I'm making this for the grandkids I haven't met. And the family I do know, we don't get to see them often. Oh, and of course my friends.
