As surprising as it sounds we're actually the very first people to ever make a podcast about movies. We here at Our Week in Film keep it pretty simple by just talking for as long as we want about all the movies we watch that week. New episodes every Wednesday. And sometimes Thursday. Very infrequently on Friday.
Zach and Kevin probably talk about movies, and Zach introduces a new fun segments.
Now wait a minute, my dinner with Andre is going to make me a star!
Kevin and Zach "Chillax" in a forest. And they talk about some animal documentaries too!
The Phillpster is back in the 14th episode of this top notch kino criticism and adoration fancast. Zach and Kevin discuss the Sherlock Holmes Duology and In the Mouth of Madness, while Mason and Kevin recount the first few films in their criterion marathon (among other movies as well).
Better cancel your plans for the day because this is far more important.
Hope you have 20 minutes and only 20 minutes to spare.
What? TWO GUESTS! Holy Toledo I bet that'll get hectic! Well turns out it went pretty well, as both special guest star Sam Menell and returning biggest fan Luke Nassief both deliver insightful commentary and deliver an unbelievably natural conversation. Is this stark contrast from most episodes due to the fact that Kevin and Zach communicate almost exclusively through insults and very rarely have genuine conversations? Who knows! What we all know is that this episode is one of the greats, packed with films from the 1890's to last year! Too bad we still have an awful audio setup.
At this point, the fact that the microphone wasn't plugged in the whole time isn't even a surprise. The real surprise is how many actors are in Judd Apatow's 2007 classic knocked up!
This one was kind of boring if I'm being honest. But hey, the Riley Brothers perservered through many technical difficulties to bravely bring this podcast to you. After a power outage 3 quarters of the way through their podcast, they lost the audio and had to stage 70% of their podcast. Well, good luck!
Surprise. The Riley Brothers have creeped into your bedroom and in to your ears on a Saturday for a very special trivia based show. We all know and love the classic trivia segment on Our Week in Film, but what if that was the whole thing? Ladies and gentlemen, please sit back, relax, and enjoy an hour (if this was an episode of network television) of fun and fancy free time with your two favorite brothers.
Zach and Kevin finally meet their biggest fan. Also Zach has an emotional breakdown while discussing a scene in The Boy with the Striped Pyjamas
This is without a doubt the best episode of any podcast or for that matter any medium of entertainment.
Oopsie doopsie the Rileys made a poopsie! In this enthralling 7th installment of the Riley boys' revealing that they in reality know very little about film, special guest and personal pal Mason Phillips guest stars in this Ari Aster spectacular. We talk about all 7 of Ari Aster's short films, and discover the shocking truth about them. Also Zach uploads the episode at 12:40 A.M. on Friday because he had AP tests to attend to and also he was incredibly lazy! Get off your large buttock you incompetent swine you! Also if you're not comfortable with people discussing penises through innuendo and blunt medical terms, you may want to skip this one.
Kevin only watched two movies this week. HOW EMBAAARASSING!!
Wow! Five episodes! It's official! This is a real podcast! In this one, the brothers two discuss some movies, like The Matrix, the Big Heat, and Willy Wonka. So strap in for this nearly two hour beast and enjoy the weird intermediate between an actual conversation and a staged show!
Zach quietly promotes Kevin to host without him noticing. Kevin watches the cornetto trilogy while Zach continues watching okay obscure noir films.
In this bad episode Zach gets mad at and belittles Kevin. Oh the drama.
And what a week it has been. Both Kevin and Zach have watched a lot of films and in this podcast they talk about them.
In this episode Kevin and Zach talk about movies. Go figure.
