A little breaking news in astronomy, followed by some interesting targets to look for in the summer night sky.

Two guests are featured in this episode. Vincent Ledvina and Dr. Mike Shumko. They worked in separate departments for this sound rocket mission in Alaska. LAMP stands for Loss through Auroral Microburst Pulsations. Launching a rocket into the aurora sounds so fun and we delve into the how the mission went and what the mission objectives are.

She has a B.S. in Meteorology with a Minor in Heliophysics and Space Weather at Millersville University.
