Most business owners don't have a workshop problem. They have a workflow problem. You can host a “good” workshop — get compliments, hear how helpful it was, feel proud of your content — and still make zero sales. In this bonus episode, I'm breaking down the 3 biggest mistakes business owners make when it comes to live events and why their workshops feel full of effort but empty of revenue. You'll learn:• The critical difference between a good workshop and a profitable one • Why planning content before conversions kills sales • How overteaching sabotages your pitch • The silent mistake that costs you the most money after the event ends • What it actually takes to create a workshop that sells, converts, and compoundsA profitable workshop doesn't happen by accident. It's built with structure, strategy, and intention. If you're ready to stop winging your live events and finally build one that drives real revenue, join me inside:Workshop Workflows That Work

Srimad Bhagavatam [Bhagwat Katha] – Part 24 | Swami Mukundananda Swamiji narrates the divine background of the Krishna Avatar, explaining how Lord Vishnu descended to protect dharma and restore balance in the world. The earth, burdened by the tyranny of demonic kings led by Kamsa, prayed for relief. The devatas approached Lord Vishnu, who assured them that He would incarnate to destroy evil and re-establish righteousness. In Mathura, King Ugrasena was dethroned by his son Kamsa, who became a cruel ruler. When Kamsa heard the prophecy that Devaki's eighth child would be his destroyer, he imprisoned Devaki and Vasudeva. Yet, this very circumstance was part of the Lord's divine plan to manifest as Shree Krishna, the one who would annihilate Kamsa and liberate the world from adharma. Swamiji emphasizes that the Krishna Avatar was not an ordinary birth but a cosmic intervention to uphold dharma. Whenever unrighteousness rises, God descends to protect His devotees and guide humanity back to the path of truth. About Swami Mukundananda: Swami Mukundananda is a renowned spiritual leader, Vedic scholar, Bhakti saint, best‑selling author, and an international authority on the subject of mind management. He is the founder of the unique yogic system called JKYog. Swamiji holds distinguished degrees in Engineering and Management from IIT and IIM. Having taken the renounced order of life (sanyas), he is the senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, and has been sharing Vedic wisdom across the globe for decades.

The Hulu's series, ‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family' has generated renewed interest in the case. This special release of the original investigative series Laura shared in April 2023 is in addition to recent interviews about the series. Incensed that Maggie had become a footnote in her own murder, Laura began her deep dive that to fix the narrative and deconstruct and decode Alex Murdaugh's behaviour with forensic precision. Registration for spring 2026 Masterclasses is now open here: bit.ly/LRMasterclasses2026 *** Laura continues to unravel the timeline including Murdaugh's significant debt and borrowing, his horrific abuse of power and trust of vulnerable clients and so-called drug addiction. Pamela Pinckney, her son Hakeem Pinckney along with Alania Plyler Spohn and Hannah Plyler turned to Murdaugh at the very worst time in their lives. He used and exploited them, funnelling off money from their legal wins in addition to the money he earned from inflated legal fees and expenses. Laura shares what this behaviour reveals about Murdaugh's psychology and how it relates to the motive for brutally killing Maggie and Paul and staging their murders as a revenge kill for the boat crash. The junior senator from Minnesota joined Tim on Wednesday for the first show of a two-night Bulwark run at the historic Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis—the city that caught ICE off-guard with its "radical empathy" and kick-ass organizing skills. It was the "secret sauce" of Minnesotans that looks to have federal agents winding down their operation there. Plus, Democrats need to continue to hold the line on DHS funding, the incompetent clown atop the DoD and other loser Republicans, the Senate is fundamentally broken, and the beauty of retiring to make way for a new generation of leaders.Sen. The Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River is currently hosting “Black Infinity House,” a free, immersive art exhibit on display for Black History Month until March 29. The exhibit is arranged into three spaces - an artist’s studio, a living room and a porch – that visitors walk through to experience art made by more than 30 Black Oregon artists whose work spans different genres and generations. It includes fabric art illustrating timeless vistas of the Columbia Gorge; painted portraits of Black, tattooed youth; a series of works made by burning designs and illustrations onto wooden canvases painted with imagery of snakes, skulls, hair and hands; handmade beaded jewelry. August Oaks, a Hood River-based producer and designer, is the curator of “Black Infinity House,” which he created to celebrate the expansiveness of Black identity. Oaks is also a member of Black in the Gorge, a grassroots organization that started five years ago in Hood River to ease the isolation Black, biracial and multiracial youth and adults can feel living in the Gorge. From organizing the first Juneteenth celebration in Hood River in 2023 to its Black History Month events this year, the group has been expanding its programs and its profile among the communities it serves. Oaks and Black in the Gorge co-founders Evelyn Charity and Stephanie Harris, whose jewelry is featured in the exhibit, join us for more details.

Gregory Shepard, Founder and CEO of Startup Science, decided to tackle this persistent challenge with a comprehensive, science-backed approach. His goal is nothing short of transformative: to reduce failure rates and create a better ecosystem for entrepreneurs.Gregory's research revealed that 47.1% of startups fail within the first 18 months, with the remaining failures often linked to poor decisions made during that critical period. “There's no industry I can think of that would be okay with 90% of the people trying to succeed failing,” he explained. “I decided to do something about it.”Startup Science offers a centralized platform where entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and support organizations can connect and collaborate. Gregory has worked to eliminate fragmentation in the startup ecosystem by providing tools, resources, and education—all free for founders. This mission is fueled by his belief that entrepreneurship drives innovation and can create opportunities for people from all backgrounds.Gregory's commitment to democratizing entrepreneurship extends to the way he's raising funds for Startup Science. He's launched a regulated crowdfunding campaign on Wefunder, allowing anyone—not just accredited investors—to support his mission. “If somebody invests in Startup Science, you're investing into all of the startups that we're helping, which is 100,000 of them at the moment,” he said.Gregory's passion is deeply personal. Growing up in poverty, he understands the barriers many entrepreneurs face. That empathy drives his vision to create an accessible, equitable platform that empowers founders to succeed while transforming the global economy.By leveraging his scientific approach to analyzing startup success and failure, Gregory is helping entrepreneurs avoid predictable pitfalls and build sustainable businesses. His efforts could fundamentally reshape the entrepreneurial landscape, enabling innovation to thrive. To learn more or support this initiative, visit Startup Science's crowdfunding campaign. Gregory sees connections others might overlook, enabling him to create solutions that integrate fragmented systems into cohesive ecosystems. He describes it as understanding how seemingly separate components interact, much like a solar system where the founder is the sun and other elements orbit around them.Gregory's superpower was pivotal in building and selling Affiliate Traction to eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions. He noticed that affiliate marketing—now a cornerstone of influencer marketing—was fragmented, with disconnected tools and processes. Gregory envisioned a unified system and developed software that brought these elements together. By connecting the dots, he transformed the industry and created a successful company, later replicating this approach with other ventures.Tips for Developing Pattern Recognition:Identify the structure of a system or process by analyzing its components and relationships.Observe how elements interact within a system and look for inefficiencies or gaps.Reimagine connected systems as an ecosystem where all parts work collaboratively.Practice applying this framework in various contexts, from business to social environments.By following Gregory's example and advice, you can make pattern recognition a skill. With practice and effort, you could make it a superpower that enables you to do more good in the world.Remember, however, that research into success suggests that building on your own superpowers is more important than creating new ones or overcoming weaknesses. Remembering Frank StaggLast week marked 50 years of the death of Frank Stagg on hunger strike in Wakefield Prison, in England. Events, including a black flag vigil and a march and rally were organised to remember the Mayo man. Gerry Kelly who was on hunger strike in England in the 1970s for over 206 days, during which he was force fed 167 times, gave the main oration in Ballina and spoke of Frank's great courage and commitment.I was in Long Kesh when Frank died on 12 February 1976 after 62 days on hunger strike. Britain's intransigence and in particular the obduracy of the then Home Secretary Roy Jenkins, ensured that Frank's fourth hunger strike would result in his death. As we walked around the Cage or sat in our cells the talk from when Frank embarked on his fast, was about his resolve and strength of character as on his own he faced the brutality of a British system determined to break him.Two years earlier we had watched as Frank's friend and comrade Michael Gaughan, another Mayo man, had died on hunger strike. Holy SmokeI used to smoke. I was very addicted to it. I smoked everything that was legal. I smoked a pipe for years. I liked the pipe. There is a certain ritual attached to pipe smoking. Filling your pipe requires special skills. It takes time. And care. Fill it too loosely and it will not last long. Too tightly and it will not burn at all. Most pipe smokers had a number of pipes. But there was always a favourite one. My favourites were invariably Kapp and Petersons. Particularly the bendy ones, favoured by Sherlock Holmes. Kapp and Peterson still have a shop in Dublin. Kapp and Peterson gets honourable mention in Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot. In Belfast Miss Morans in Church Lane, which is still doing business, was a favoured supplier of pipes and good tobacco.Pipe tobacco is of course a matter of choice and taste. And addiction. I was inclined towards heavier brands like Condor. The I graduated to War Horse, particularly War Horse plug tobacco. The preparation of this type of pipe filler requires a pen knife for cutting off little slices of tobacco. These were then rubbed between your hands until they were reduced to the desired consistency. This added to the ritual. It was probably theraputic. If thats not a contradiction. Ditto with the smell of pipe smoke. Back in the day pipe smokers were a fixed presence in pubs and at most social gatherings. Many people, barely visible in the clouds of smoke, would declare how much they liked the smell. The death of Nora ComiskeyIt was with sadness that I heard of the death last week of Nora Comiskey. Many Dublin republicans and some of us from Belfast and other parts knew Nora over many years. She was a former president and long-time activist in the 1916-1921 Club. This was a unique institution founded in the 1940s whose aim was to try and bring together some of those who fought on the pro and anti- Treaty sides in the Civil War. Many did, including Nora who had been in Fianna Fáil. Its founding charter is the 1916 Proclamation and among its objectives are a commitment to honour those who fought for Irish Freedom and who work for its achievement. Is it actually harder to sign online coaching clients right now, or is it just you? In this week's episode of the Push Pull Legs podcast, Dan and Tom dive deep into the shifting landscape of the fitness industry. We discuss the noticeable "quietness" in commercial gyms this January and February, and why Instagram isn't yielding the same results for personal trainers anymore. The "YouTube Thesis" explains why long-form video is the better tool for building authority, trust, and a community that actually buys. Most Democratic politicians are scared to criticize each other. They also fear dinging former presidents, or the various groups that make up the party's broad coalition. “Send Coach John a message”I came across a quote that really connected with what I've been drawn to a lot lately. It's from Seek Wiser (@SeekWiser_) and it reminds us about this: “Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.” - Eleanor Roosevelt. Now, this has made me think about how great minds talk about ideas and things to make things better for others and themselves. To solve problems. To come up with inspiration to help others. Average minds talk about the weather. Events that may be popular and even important on some levels, but they don't pull out any lessons from those events to make things better. Small minds - they just love to point out faults of others. To “arm-chair” quarterback, always saying they could do better than so and so in charge, but in reality - they don't do much to help out or to solve problems. They gossip a lot. I've been all three types - all throughout my life, heck … even yesterday I was all three. I know I need to strive to be more of a great mind for sure. We have way too many “small minds” around us. Don't believe me? Just watch the news a bit to see them and look around online too.The other thing that came up in this discussion was from Mindful Maven (@mindfulmaven_) - where this was shared: “It's a full time job to believe in yourself. No off days!” This goes hand in hand with raising the bar for ourselves and working towards having a great mind for sure! Thanks for listening. In 2026, we're slowing down to soak in the story that invites us to believe. The Gospel of John doesn't just tell us what Jesus did—it reveals who He is. Through signs and stories, questions and conversations, light and life, John calls us again and again to “come and see.” Over the next year, we'll walk with Jesus from the opening words—“In the beginning”—to the empty tomb, discovering how encountering Christ shapes our faith, our hope, and our everyday lives. This is more than a study; it's an invitation to deeper belief and fuller life. Learn more with guest Pastor Vincent Tinch. George Terry built a LinkedIn ads agency by doing what he preaches: posting consistently, building a personal brand, and measuring ROI by channel. We help B2B companies build the same kind of owned media system. If you run a service business and want to know what a LinkedIn-first pipeline actually looks like in practice, this episode is it. Host Jason Bradwell sits down with George Terry, Co-Founder of Winbox, a LinkedIn ads agency working with 50+ B2B brands, to unpack how they've built a system where personal brands drive more pipeline than any other channel. George's core point is clear: nobody goes on LinkedIn to hang out with brands. Everyone's there to hang out with people. Brands are boring. Personal profiles are the best distribution channel on LinkedIn right now, and the challenge is finding people in your company who are willing to get out there and back the business. Winbox segments pipeline into referrals, inbound, and events. Referrals close fastest but can't be your only channel. Events generate volume at the top of funnel but deals are smaller. Inbound from marketing, meaning people who sought them out because they trust the brand, generates the largest deal sizes by far. Why? Because buyers coming to you with trust come with bigger budgets. The move upmarket changed everything. When Winbox decided to stop working with small budgets and target companies spending £10k a month or more on LinkedIn ads, their market shrank dramatically. That forced a shift to an account-based approach: a defined list of 2,500 companies across UK and Europe, and everything; ads, content, targeting, focused exclusively on that list. The metric they obsess over is market saturation: reaching 50 to 80% of that list four to eight times a month. Hit that and you're influencing decision-making when buyers enter a cycle. Miss it and your marketing may as well not exist. The content system behind this is simpler than it sounds. George spends two hours a week on content creation, records voice notes on walks to capture ideas, and polishes them up on Monday mornings. Five days a week posting, a monthly video podcast, 40 LinkedIn posts, eight video shorts, four newsletters, a webinar, and a quarterly event. The machine behind it does the heavy lifting but the principle is the same for anyone starting out: done is better than perfect. Post the rubbish. Get the reps in. The five-year journey started with two likes. This week on the Retirement Quick Tips podcast, I'm breaking down the generational differences between Gen X & Boomers. These two generations approach money very differently, and those differences have a big impact on how they save, plan for retirement, and ultimately live in retirement. While Boomers love to talk about the assassination of JFK and the landing on the moon and can tell you exactly where they were and what they were doing during both events, Gen X remembers the Challenger exploding, the LA riots, and the suicide of Kurt Kobain. The defining economic event that shaped Gen X's financial path was the dot com bust. Younger Gen Xs were just finishing school and launching their careers in the late 1990s and early 2000s, while older Gen Xs ers - 35 years old at this time, were now well established.
A Return Visit Reveals Restaurant Reality Just months after opening their doors, Amanda and Bill Whitson welcome back Valley Today host, Janet Michael, and SBA Virginia District Director, Carl Knoblock to share the unvarnished truth about launching Clem's Kitchen at Middletown's historic Wayside Inn. While the couple anticipated challenges, the reality of restaurant ownership has delivered surprises at every turn. Nevertheless, their commitment to quality, community, and scratch-made comfort food keeps them moving forward. Click here to listen to the September conversation. The Best-Laid Plans Meet Reality Originally, the Whitsons planned a cautious rollout—breakfast service only, with dinner introduced gradually over several months. However, customer demand quickly rewrote that script. Within just one week of opening in September, they expanded to full dinner service. "It's definitely not what we thought," Amanda admits, though she emphasizes the fun amid the exhaustion. This rapid expansion tested their team immediately, yet it also validated their concept faster than expected. Staffing: The Universal Challenge Throughout the conversation, both Amanda and Bill identify staffing as their biggest ongoing challenge. Unlike Amanda's early days working at the Wayside Inn for Leo Bernstein, today's workforce operates with different expectations and motivations. Consequently, the couple has built their culture around a simple principle: everyone does everything. Bill proudly notes that he washes more dishes than anyone else, not because he must, but because it frees his team to focus on food preparation and guest service. Meanwhile, Amanda reinforces this philosophy during every interview, making it clear that hierarchies don't exist at Clem's Kitchen—only teamwork. Furthermore, the Whitsons recognize that attracting quality staff requires competitive wages. They deliberately pay above minimum wage, understanding that employees who can cover their bills become invested team members. This strategy has paid dividends, creating a staff that genuinely cares about guest experiences rather than simply collecting paychecks. The Social Media Tightrope In addition to staffing challenges, the couple navigates the precarious world of online reviews. As Carl observes, one negative review can significantly impact a new restaurant, and responding requires finesse that's difficult to muster when you're "in the weeds" with cooking and service. Therefore, Amanda and Bill's decision to open slowly—despite the eventual rapid expansion—gave them crucial time to train their team thoroughly before facing the unforgiving court of public opinion. Scratch-Made with a Twist What sets Clem's Kitchen apart, however, isn't just their operational philosophy—it's the food itself. Amanda, who describes herself as someone who "doesn't measure anything," creates dishes that honor classic comfort food while adding unexpected elements. For instance, her twice-baked potatoes feature a crispy tater-tot exterior that Janet still raves about. Similarly, the restaurant's fresh-baked biscuits—which disappeared in just 28 minutes during a recent sausage gravy contest—come with house-made flavored butters and preserves that change regularly. Moreover, the couple prioritizes sourcing raw ingredients over pre-processed products, despite the additional labor involved. Bill emphasizes that while it's easy to source food, finding quality raw product proves much harder. Nevertheless, guests can taste the difference between hand-cut vegetables and frozen alternatives, making the extra effort worthwhile. A Menu That Evolves Initially unplanned, Clem's Kitchen now changes its dinner menu monthly—a practice that emerged from necessity but has become a strategic advantage. This rotation keeps regular customers engaged while allowing Amanda creative freedom to experiment. At the same time, certain favorites remain constant: burgers, wings, and the popular roasted chicken ensure that creatures of habit can always find something familiar. Additionally, the monthly changes help manage food costs, especially when catering events require specific ingredients that can then appear on the restaurant menu. Events: The Economic Engine Speaking of catering, Bill candidly acknowledges that special events "kept us afloat" during January's slow season. The couple brought their established catering clientele from their food truck, and now these clients enjoy the full-service venue with its bar and multiple event spaces. From corporate gatherings to weddings, these events provide crucial revenue that allows the restaurant to maintain quality ingredients and competitive wages during slower periods. In fact, Bill notes that in today's restaurant landscape, "you gotta do two, three things at once" to remain profitable. Building Community, Not Just Serving Food Beyond the business metrics, Amanda and Bill focus relentlessly on creating genuine connections. Bill regularly sits with guests, sharing coffee and conversation regardless of whether he knows them personally. Amanda has introduced personal touches like allowing regular customers to have designated coffee mugs and accepting family heirloom salt and pepper shakers from neighbors who eat there weekly. These gestures transform transactions into relationships. As Carl astutely observes, "Nine times out of ten, people come back for the relationship versus coming back for the food." This philosophy drives everything at Clem's Kitchen, from the warm greeting guests receive upon entering to the tableside chocolate milk service that makes children feel special. Looking Ahead: Spring and Beyond Looking forward, the Whitsons plan to leverage the four-acre property more fully. They're launching Friday night live music, opening their expansive patio (which adds 40% more seating capacity), and actively pursuing a farmer's market partnership. Additionally, they're exploring ways to highlight the Wayside Inn's historical significance, particularly as Virginia celebrates its 250th anniversary. Carl enthusiastically suggests that local economic development could help showcase this pre-Civil War landmark as a destination for history-focused tourism. Furthermore, Amanda dreams of eventually adding a small retail shop where guests could purchase house-made sauces, pickles, and Tricia's celebrated desserts—particularly that coconut cake that has customers asking to take whole cakes home. The Superpower of Execution When asked about their approach, Bill identifies their "superpower" simply: "We figure it out." While they acknowledge that preparation reveals blind spots, their ability to execute under pressure has carried them through every unexpected challenge. From the rapid dinner expansion to managing a 400-biscuit order that disappeared in under half an hour, the couple consistently delivers. Yet beneath this execution-focused mindset lies something deeper. As one longtime community member told Bill while shaking his hand: "It's back. Nice job. It's back." After years of the Wayside Inn lacking its heartbeat, Clem's Kitchen has restored what was missing—not through financial investment alone, but through genuine care, quality ingredients, and unwavering commitment to community. The Bottom Line Ultimately, Amanda and Bill Whitson aren't just running a restaurant—they're rebuilding a community gathering place. While the work exhausts them and challenges emerge daily, their focus remains clear: create experiences that make guests feel welcomed, valued, and eager to return. In an industry where many cut corners to maximize profits, Clem's Kitchen takes the opposite approach, betting that quality, authenticity, and human connection will sustain them through the difficult early years and beyond. As spring approaches and the patio opens, Middletown's historic Wayside Inn stands ready to reclaim its place as the heart of the community—one scratch-made meal, one warm greeting, and one genuine relationship at a time.

Peace and harmony looked like an empty apartment and a recliner. That's when he knew something was wrong. Dave Shotgun Shell spent decades chasing adrenaline … football, MMA fighting, even karaoke when his body couldn't take the hits anymore. After multiple concussions and near-death experiences starting at age two, he subconsciously became addicted to intensity. But when the crashes started outweighing the highs, he swung hard in the opposite direction: two hours of meditation daily, seeking peace and harmony. What he got instead was an empty apartment, a divorce, kids who lived elsewhere, and an isolated existence with nothing but four white walls and a recliner. He had achieved perfect peace. And zero impact on the world. This conversation with Genea digs into the cost of extremes, and what happens when you finally stop escaping into either adrenaline or spirituality, and start living from the middle. From FCC Chair Brendan Carr—who keeps trying to silence the political opinions of late night TV comedians, to DHS pressuring social media companies to expose anti-ICE accounts, and to the willingness of serial killer RFK, Jr and his MAHA cohort to stack up dead children so they can keep their antivax con going—it's clear the shamelessness of MAGA knows no bounds. But even if the coalition that delivered Trump's victory in ‘24 has been shattered, the Dems have to skip the seven-point policy plans and focus on the economy and Trump's corruption. And Dem candidates need to do their own tweeting. JJ welcomes Sheila Donohue for a conversation that blends entrepreneurship, lifestyle, and the art of curated Italian wines and foods. Sheila shares how her company, Verovino, sources small-batch, farm-made wines, olive oils, and specialty foods—many not readily available in the U.S.—and delivers them to both consumers and businesses across America. In This Episode Meet Sheila in Bologna: Sheila shares her life in Bologna, Italy, where she's lived since 2001, and how Italy shaped her expertise and relationships with producers. What Verovino does: Verovino curates and imports authentic, sustainably made, small-batch products—primarily from Italy, plus select producers from other countries and California—selling B2B and direct-to-consumer. From fintech to food & wine: Sheila explains her background in financial technology (fintech), her sommelier training in Italy, and how her personal immersion in artisan food culture inspired the company. Starting from a "clean slate": In 2017, after major life changes, Sheila began building Verovino—funded through savings—and took early action by importing product and going door-to-door to find customers. How the business grows: Sheila emphasizes the importance of continuity (repeat business), building scale, and covering operating expenses. She explains how an omni-channel strategy helps stabilize the business: Distributors nationwide Wine stores & restaurants (especially in California) Direct-to-consumer shipping across the U.S. Corporate gifting & events Marketing & education that compounds: Verovino invests in education and storytelling through digital marketing—especially their blog and YouTube channel—to build long-term brand trust and demand. Product philosophy: As a sommelier-led team, Sheila curates for variety and distinction: reds, whites, rosés, orange wines, sparkling (dry and sweet), plus standout olive oils—including single-varietal olive oils with specific pairing profiles. Events as a growth engine: Sheila shares how tastings, fundraisers, private events, and collaborations introduce people to the products—because tasting creates appreciation and connection. Specialty foods: The conversation highlights a Piedmont hazelnut producer offering toasted hazelnuts, caramelized hazelnuts, hazelnut creams, pasta, and pestos—plus JJ's enthusiasm for pistachio cream and clean ingredients. Wine club & gifting: Sheila describes Verovino's monthly or quarterly wine club, curated shipments with insider notes and stories, and a growing trend of gifting memberships (including personalized letters). Gift sets: Verovino offers curated gift sets—popular in December—and a standout option that pairs wine + olive oil, plus expanded options for non-wine drinkers. A second brand line for broader appeal: To avoid being pigeonholed and to meet different market needs, Sheila shares how Verovino expanded into a separate line for more "recognizable" wines, including Prosecco and kegs—ideal for events and high-volume restaurant service. Advice for new producers: Sheila emphasizes the need to stand out in a crowded market—especially as the wine industry faces headwinds—and to clearly differentiate your product and message. Memorable Moments JJ connects her own journey as a winemaker (High Vibrational Wines) and discusses why she values small-batch, purpose-driven production over mass distribution. A fun community collaboration emerges: JJ invites Sheila to co-create a March event in Ojai with "Women Behind the Business: Real Conversations," potentially adding a wine tasting experience—and they discover their birthdays are both in March. Connect with Sheila / Verovino Website: Verovino.com YouTube: Vero Vino Instagram & Facebook: VeroVinoGusto Closing: JJ encourages listeners to explore Verovino for personal discovery, gifting, and creating meaningful food-and-wine experiences that bring "a taste of Italy" home.

The white Anglo-Saxon supremacy in Trumpland is so over the top that even child-of-Cuban-immigrants Marco Rubio claims America's common cultural heritage is European. But then with a schizophrenic touch, our secretary of state went on to endorse the reelection of Viktor Orban, who has decidedly turned Hungary away from Western democratic values. In response, some high-profile Democrats weighed in, including AOC from Munich. Plus, we are constantly reminded to not trust anything DHS says, the Dems should not agree to give one more penny to ICE, and Marco: The music of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones would not have existed without African American culture.Bill Kristol joins Tim Miller for the holiday pod.show notes Monday's "Morning Shots" Tickets are now on sale for our LIVE shows in Dallas on March 18 and in Austin on March 19.
