In this episode I will share with you a simple practice that anyone can do when they need to recharge, or reconnect, or even just find the strength to get through the next few months. Mantras don't have to be in some archaic, ancient, obscure language to be effective tools for training the mind. English mantras are just as powerful and maybe even moreso, since we actually understand the words that we're chanting. You know, what we fill our minds with is what we end up manifesting in our day-to-day lives, so chanting something positive and getting our minds acquainted with the positivity and #spiritual power that the #mantra brings is always a good thing. Hope you find it helpful! PEACE #selfcare #meditation #chanting #SisterDharma --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/resistwithdharma/support
It pisses me off when people don't wear masks in public because I interpret that as them saying "I don't give a fuck about you. Who cares if you live or die." We don't wear masks to protect ourselves, people! Unless you've got an N95, they don't work like that. We wear masks to protect others from ourselves. You know we can carry the virus (and spread it) without ever showing any symptoms, right? You might not show symptoms, but I might die of it. But, you don't really care about all that, now, do you? Not if it means the inconvenience of wearing a mask on a public bus for 10 minutes, anyway? So, fuck you! That's all I gotta say about that. Fuck you! (and your inconsiderate ass.) Yesterday during Trump's Corona virus briefing he suggested some very stupid things. Remember Trump is not a doctor. He has no idea what he's talking about. Do not inject or ingest bleach it will kill you. Listen to your doctor do not listen to Trump he doesn't know what he's talking about and he is clearly insane. Stay smart and we will get through this together, but do not ingest bleach! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/resistwithdharma/support
Around 30% of Americans polled I think the government is moving too slow in reopening the country. Over 60% are worried the government's moving too fast. In the midst of this pandemic which has literally shut the entire world down, we need to take reopening the country very seriously. I understand people got to provide for their families and I feel their pain because I'm going through it myself as well, but it's not right to risk other people's lives just so you don't go stir-crazy in the house. We got to be smart about this, people! We also got to be empathetic. But, that really is always, isn't it? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/resistwithdharma/support
In this episode we discuss how the covid 19 virus has really shed a light on how broken our system is and how much it favors the wealthy hope for everyone else. My Hope is that the people are paying attention and see what's going on and use this pandemic a chance to come together, to put our petty differences aside, strategize and fight the fight that needs to be fought. The effects of millions of people have lost their jobs and their income and don't have any savings, the fact that people's Health Care is primarily tied to their employment and therefore they no longer have the coverage that they need in case they get sick, at all the afflictions that have been with us this whole time but we have conveniently ignored until now all of that has come to light. My question to you is have you been paying attention? And what are you going to do about it? Time to organize. Time to strategize. It's time to put our petty differences aside, come together and fight for him or just equitable system that benefits the mass of people and not just the wealthy few at the top. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/resistwithdharma/support

Bernie Sanders reached out to his supporters to make donations in support of coronavirus charity and in two days raised or $2000000 to support them. He needs that money his campaign needs that money to help him win the states that he still has a chance in but instead of using that money for his campaign he has chosen to use that money to support the people in desperate need in this pandemic and that shows what type of person Bernie Sanders is and what kind of President he would be should he win the election. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/resistwithdharma/support
We can't always control 100% of what happens to us or around us, but what we can control is our reaction to those situations and circumstances. The point of debating the point of conversation is to share ideas add to get our messages across. We like to be heard and others like to know that they are being heard as well. If we allow our emotions to control a reactions in such debates over topics that are very personal to us we end up closing our own ears and eyes to the other side which in turn closes theirs to ours and the conversation goes nowhere from that point forward. But there is a way that we can maintain our composure and our openness so our conversations for the others do not devolve into childish fingers in our ears lalalala lalalala. We'll discuss how to do that in this episode.
