Scholastic Competition

Black Founders Startup Ventures and IamDTech had a Hackathon for college students on February 15th, 2013 at Howard University. The goal: to give students a 24-hour experience on what it is like to build a prototype for a product, then present their product to the attending participants. Students from all majors were called to spend a night, building their ideas. The event was sponsored by a number of great organizations notably Facebook and Microsoft. Here is a short clip of the Facebook & Microsoft presentations, as well as the advice that the judges had for the teams after the final presentations and the awards won after a long challenging night.
