We'll see how both ends of the spectrum turn into fundamentalism, and how Scripture points us to a better and more practical understanding. In this episode, we examine:- the way current American culture defines the terms, “trad wife” and “feminist”- historical roles of women in America, going back to the 1700s- how the two viewpoints provoke one another and impact culture- what the primary purpose of a Christian person is according to Scripture- how to consider the purpose God has called you to in your current seasonIf you're looking for clarity amidst the arguments of both sides and wondering what God says about your calling as a woman, this episode is for you.Shop our verse-by-verse studies, books, and family discipleship resources ⦿ Every Woman a Theologian Shop:https://phyliciamasonheimer.com/shopSubscribe to Verity Podcast:https://apple.co/veritypodcastVerity Podcast is an Every Woman a Theologian company. Cam Schlittler's incredible road numbers force the Yankees into a fascinating October rotation debate. Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash weigh whether Schlittler should get Games 1 and 5 of a playoff series or whether his dominance away from Yankee Stadium makes him the perfect choice for a pivotal Game 3 while Gerrit Cole and Max Fried handle the other starts. Shaun Morash is in for Evan Roberts alongside Tiki Barber. They also push back on the idea that the Yankees lack urgency, debate whether struggling veterans are being given too much leeway, and begin examining how John Harbaugh's decision-making could make the Giants look very different this season.

Jon Herold walks through a detailed timeline theory that Trump may be quietly resetting the War Powers Act clock on Iran for a second time to keep Congress out of the loop, tracing notification dates back to February and July and predicting another possible reset is coming this weekend. He also fact checks Alex Jones' viral debate claims about NDAA Section 219 line by line, reading the actual bill text to show the "co equal to the Secretary of Defense" language Jones cited simply is not there. Other topics include Howard Lutnick's awkward military casualty gaffe and Trump's fiery follow up posts on ammunition stockpiles, a newly declassified CIA memo showing Scott Gottlieb privately estimated much higher COVID immunity than he stated publicly, and Nvidia's 13 billion dollar Hugging Face acquisition. Sponsor reads, a goofy decode post experiment, and plenty of chat banter round out a dense Thursday show.

Unlike the made-for-TV special announcing the final twelve players at this year's Presidents Cup, this Wednesday episode is not a full hour long... but Andy and Brendan do spend most of it reacting to the final rosters and the programming that brought them to us. The two discuss the ridiculousness of a 60-minute show at 5 p.m. on a Tuesday to announce the teams, every player immediately being called "great for the teamroom," and U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker's whispers to Todd Lewis about his selections. Eventually they do get into the picks, most notably Snedeker's selection of Jackson Koivun as the final man on Team USA. Andy and Brendan wonder how Snedeker might've arrived at the decision to take the young star, with some conspiracies being thrown out almost immediately. They debate the merits picking of Koivun (and Jacob Bridgeman) instead of some who did not make the team, including Ryan Gerard, J.J. Spaun, and Ben Griffin. On the International side, Geoff Ogilvy's selections were fairly chalk until a surprise final selection of Christiaan Bezuidenhout, whose wifi (or lack thereof) was a lowlight of the Golf Channel show. PJ can't believe the C-Bez pick and points out that he's ranked lower than assistant captain Taylor Pendrith on basically any list you can find. Andy supposes that the selection was a last-minute rebuttal to the Bridge Man's putter landing a spot on the American side. After plenty of P-Cup talk and a plug for the upcoming SGS Live Show at SPACE, Andy and Brendan discuss a very small Schedule for the Week before getting into some recent news. Colt Knost has found his way back to the forefront of the reinstated amateur debate, but he might've been playing it up on social for those precious, precious impressions. Lastly, Brendan breaks Andy and PJ's brains with a revelation about former PGA of America President Don Rea and his latest whereabouts in a final segment you won't want to miss. Use promo code SGS30 for 30% off Presidents Cup gear at B. Draddy! We’re returning to SPACE for a Presidents Cup week Live Show Presented by B.Draddy! The Industry Relations Podcast is now available on your favorite podcast player! Overview Rob and Greg are joined by Michael Wurzer, President and CEO of FBS, for a live continuation of the IDX/data-distribution debate that started at the Columbus Realtors event and continued in a series of dueling LinkedIn posts. Rob argues the MLS should get out of data distribution and marketing entirely; Wurzer defends a reformed, usage-based IDX system; Greg plays referee. The conversation ranges from first-principles arguments about what the MLS is actually for, to pricing and licensing models, to whether a national MLS is closer than anyone thinks. Key Takeaways Wurzer proposes keeping IDX but shifting to volume/usage-based licensing instead of blowing up the current system Rob argues the MLS's only legitimate first-principle purpose is brokerage cooperation, not data distribution or marketing Wurzer: licenses should follow use — display rights are separable from participation rights Rob compares reforming IDX incrementally to "improving slavery" rather than abolishing it — Greg pushes back hard Wurzer references Craig Cheatham's writing on shifting licensing focus to how data is used, not who's using it Discussion of whether non-broker companies (House Canary, Zillow, OpenAI) should get separate syndication licenses distinct from broker/participant data licenses Rob argues MLS "creates no data" — all data originates from brokers and agents (the "ultimate UGC") Wurzer counters that aggregation itself has independent value, distinct from the underlying listings Debate over whether a national MLS is realistic — Rob claims only ~25 MLSs are needed to reach 85% listing share Both agree clear cooperation as a nationwide mandate was likely a policy mistake Wurzer references Daniel Jones (Hive) as working on a formal "MLS constitution" concept Links Riposte with Rob Connect with Rob and Greg Rob's Website Greg's Website Watch us on YouTube Our Sponsors: Cotality Notorious VIP The Giant Steps Job Board Production and Editing Services by Sunbound Studios

"It's like running a foot race against a seal, on dry land, and the seals are the ones judging it." Brian and Alison watch two debates against Rachel Wilson on whether feminism has done more harm than good. Also: the ten years Marxist feminists spent trying to derive the material benefit men extract from providing for women, and what they built when they couldn't; the "I'm not going to go to your Substack" exchange; and why the pool of married liberal men doesn't behave the way the advice assumes. "It's not a man getting drunk and beating his wife. It's a man not getting drunk, waking up at 5 AM, going to work in the steel mill, destroying his lungs with toxic chemicals, coming home at 10 PM and handing over his pay packet. That is men's oppression of women." Support the show: feedthebadger.com/support Send us a message: feedthebadger.com/justthetip Join the community: badgernation.online
