Shorty- A Hockey Podcast

We always love a good burner account (S/O Tony Deangelo). We give our first impressions on the start to the NHL season. We talk burner accounts, a Rangers coaching crisis, a new look fantasy hockey squad, and the race to 100 points for Leon and Connor.

The podcast is back for season 2 and we have plenty to dissect with a new NHL season right around the corner!

Trade deadline is quickly approaching and the trades a rolling in as we speak. We predict where the biggest trade targets will end up, and Mike has some interesting takes about...cereal...stay tuned.

Still a hockey podcast, but just acting as a reminder that for whatever, hockey players cant play golf for some reason. We continue to discuss deadline deals, and we have a save of the week that stings for Jackie (the puns continue).

Back from break with plenty to cover. Jackie and Mike debate whether or not the All Star game is worth watching. The two look back on their team's first half of the season, and predict how their seasons will end. The trade deadline is just over a month away, and we look at who might be on the move. Cale Makar is unlike anything we have ever seen, and dogs speed skill challenge just might be the reason we tune in at the All Star break.

This a two part episode that combines content from two weeks worth of hockey. Our apologies, but we cant help being the extremely studious people that we are. Rather than doing a hockey podcast, we spent most of our time these last two weeks grinding in the library and crushing exams and essays. Nevertheless, we made time for all of you, and this is what we could put together on very tight schedules. Enjoy!

We are back from Thanksgiving break, and we are having trouble getting back on track and back on schedule. Mike was a bit tired so excuse his lack of enthusiasm. However, we found something to give the conversation some life, and it is dogs wearing clothes. Yes, that was hockey related. We have stars of the month lined up, flying teddy bears, and coaching drama. Enjoy!

Yeah Yeah this isn't an MLB podcast and its not exactly the offseason but we discussed stove top stuffing and I thought the reference was too good not to use. Concussions in sports (unprompted discussion). Mike goes out on a limb *sarcastically* and takes the Rangers to absolutely destroy the Capitals tonight (he does actually believe it will happen though...just wait and see). This one got away from us. There is still plenty of hockey content scattered throughout. A lot was said so I cant really sum it all up. You will just have to listen an enjoy our nonsense. (This podcast is very close to getting a pun counter).

Its spooky season in the NHL. Jackie and Mike discuss the best team costumes around the league. Roman Josi got Mike all fired up about how much he adores Predators fans. Jackie in turn teed off on Devils fans. Then, finally a planned debate segment where Jackie and Mike discuss some controversial plays that Henrik Lundquvist found himself involved in. There was plenty to talk about today, so enjoy!

Live reaction podcast to the Bruins vs. Rangers game from last night. A lot happened in the game and emotions ran high. Jackie and Mike were joined by two new guests, the game provided plenty of action, Jackie was left speechless, and Mike saw his life flash before his eyes. Here are the highlights.

Some early goal of the year candidates have Jackie and Mike discussing all types of goals, and Mike is reminded of a time when he played hockey (believe it or not). Jackie tells us why there is cause for concern among certain underperforming teams, and it sparks a discussion about at what point in time seasons are lost. As promised, the tangents have arrived, and this weeks unplanned discussion leads Jackie and Mike on a trip down memory lane. Hear about some childhood stories, goals and saves of the week, and of course, stars of the week, on week three of Shortie.

Completely unplanned, Mike and Jackie get into a debate about overtime rules. What was planned, and actually executed in this is episode, was stars of the week, "what country is that dude from?", pasta fashion, goals of the week, and saves of the week. Week two handed us plenty of content, and our heads are still spinning over the Sabres and Avalanche hot starts. This is episode is also on time! enjoy.
