Have you ever had a computer do something you can't explain? Have you ever thought a machine had a mind of its own? In 1971 Met Life was faced with this exact conundrum. Their tape drives, for some reason, were throwing tape all over the floor every night. Systems were checked and no flaws were found, but every morning an operator would walk in on an absolute mess. What could make a healthy machine spit up it's precious tape?

Send us a textGiants fans, Week 4 brought both heartbreak and resilience. John Mara revealed he's battling cancer but remains active with the team, asking for privacy while he undergoes treatment. Wide receiver Malik Nabers, one of the most exciting young talents on the roster, is now out for the season with a torn ACL—yet another brutal MetLife turf injury that has fans demanding change. How do the Giants replace Nabers? Odell Beckham Jr. rumors won't die, but realistic names range from Isaiah Hodgins to Gabe Davis, Jakobi Meyers, Chris Olave, and other veteran options like Tyler Boyd, Nelson Agholor, or Robert Woods. We break down every possibility and what actually makes sense for Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll's roster. Can the turf finally be replaced after years of devastating ACL and Achilles injuries at MetLife? From Rodgers to Shepherd to now Nabers, the list keeps growing. Fans have had enough—and so have we.Despite the injury chaos, did the Giants turn a corner? The defense racked up 27 pressures and 2 picks on Justin Herbert, while the run game produced 161 yards. Still, questions remain about red zone execution and the offense's ceiling. MetLife Investment Management's Sara Queen and CBRE's Tommy Lee explore the shifting dynamics of commercial real estate investing. They offer seasoned insight on a range of topics, from NYC office to data centers to build-to-rent residential and much more.Key takeaways on real estate investing: · High-net-worth investors are stepping in aggressively during the current market cycle, while institutional capital remains cautious and highly selective. · Data centers benefit from sustained strong demand, but require disciplined underwriting due to lease rollover risks and rising competition. · Many institutional investors prefer targeted strategies in assets like build-to-rent, industrial and retail, giving them more control and precise capital deployment.· Office development in New York remains fundamentally attractive, but securing equity partners is challenging due to risk expectations and long completion timelines. · MetLife is experimenting with AI to enhance investment committee decision-making, enabling a sharpened focus on key risks and opportunities but not replacing human judgment.
Sal and BT dissected the Mets' disastrous season-ending collapse—a highly anticipated "car crash"—shortly after owner Steve Cohen tweeted an apology to fans, calling the result "unacceptable." The hosts debated whether Cohen's measured response was better than an irrational George Steinbrenner-style firing spree, ultimately agreeing that wholesale roster changes are needed. The conversation was interrupted by breaking news from Larry Fitzgerald, who joined the studio to confirm the worst fears for the Giants: rookie Malik Nabers has torn his ACL and is out for the season, adding to the day's misery for New York sports. The trio discussed the MetLife turf curse and the star receiver's tough road to recovery.
Sal and BT are hyped for Jaxson Dart's first start, calling it the most exciting moment for Giants fans in years, but they are skeptical about the team's ability to support him. The hosts agree that getting experience for the young quarterback is more important than winning right now, given the team's 0-3 start and lack of a solid foundation. They worry that a "lame duck" coach in Brian Daboll, coupled with a poorly built roster, is throwing Dart to the wolves. They also criticized the continued fan negativity, specifically calling out the planned anti-ownership plane banner that will fly over MetLife, urging fans to embrace the hope of the new quarterback.
This segment is a high-energy dive into the Jaxson Dart debut for the Giants, with Sal and BT debating whether the team's abysmal foundation—poor offensive line, lame-duck coach Brian Daboll, and constant negativity—is setting the rookie up for failure, mirroring the struggles of past quarterbacks. They ridicule Giants fans for flying "clean house" banners over MetLife, arguing it's the wrong time for negativity. On the baseball side, they analyze the Mets' slim playoff hopes against the Marlins, with Sal remaining skeptical due to the lack of pitching, while BT is more optimistic. The Yankees, conversely, are lauded for their strong play, with BT and Costas agreeing they have a "championship look" and are poised to win the AL East. The segment wraps with a lighthearted but fiery call-out of David Cone for confusing Rocky III and Rocky IV and Nick Costos providing his best NFL Week 4 bets and a Perfect Parlay rundown.
The guys preview week 3 of the 2025 NFL season, as it brings the Giants home to MetLife for the first time this season.
The Chiefs notched their first victory of the year, taking down the New York Giants in Metlife on SNF. Through a sloppy first half, the team persevered and showed some great flashes. Hour 1 We started with the local baseball teams and who they will likely play when the playoffs come (assuming the Mets make it). We also talked about the Bills winning again last night, with Boomer noting they have not had a turnover in 8 straight games. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Yankees beating the Orioles 7-0, and they did it without a HR. Jonah Tong struck out 8 as the Mets beat the Padres. Clayton Kershaw announced he is retiring after this season. We heard Suzyn & Dave Sims arguing about saves in Pittsburgh vs saves in NY. Tua threw a pick on the Bills 21 yard line as the Dolphins lost to the Bills. We heard from Mike McDaniel after the game. Quinnen Williams said the players made a pact to not be as bad as they were against the Bills. Carson Wentz is ready to go for the Vikings as they take on the Bengals. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about some of the NFL matchups this weekend. We talked about the 40 starting Jets quarterbacks since Joe Namath left. Hour 2 The Buccaneers will be in their creamsicle uniforms on Sunday when they play the Jets. Is this going to be a Todd Bowles revenge spot? Aaron Glenn has been using a lot of corny cliches like ‘big ships turn slow' and ‘it's not instant coffee'. Boomer said you have to be lucky enough to have a great QB to be successful in the NFL. Anthony in Belleville called in and talked about his Chargers and Gio's old mullet. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Bills beating the Dolphins. Tua threw a pick late in the game on the Bills 21 yard line. Tyreek Hill talked about being 0-3. The Yankees shutout the Orioles 7-0 without hitting a HR. Jonah Tong struck out 8 as the Mets beat the Padres and Pete Alonso had another HR. Clayton Kershaw announced that this will be his last season. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said everyone seems to be turning on the Eagles. Al Michaels seemingly took a shot at them on the broadcast last night. The NFL told officials to watch the Tush Push because they have been offside in the past. Gio's wife asked for a Super Bowl prediction and he said Eagles/Ravens. Boomer thinks the Packers are the team to beat in the NFC and the Ravens in the AFC. Hour 3 Patrick Mahomes said being 0-2 is a great opportunity to show people on Sunday night football what the Chiefs are really made of. Mahomes has lost 3 games in a row for the first time in his career. Gio said it seems impossible that they would lose to the Giants and go 0-3 to start the season. We still don't know for sure if Andrew Thomas is playing. Gio is not expecting the same Giants offense we saw in Dallas. Boomer said the Chiefs offense is not that great, but Gio cautioned it's still Patrick Mahomes. Gio is wearing a Dua Lipa hoodie he got yesterday. Who has more commercials, the Manning brothers or the Kelce brothers? Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Tua interception that was costly as the Bills beat the Dolphins. Mike McDaniel spoke after the game and sounded like a doofus. Russell Wilson loves playing at MetLife because he won a Super Bowl there. Eli Manning was on Peter Schraegger's podcast and talked about helping Jaxson Dart, who took it too literally. The Yankees beat the Orioles 7-0 without hitting a HR. Patrick Mahomes said being 0-2 is a great opportunity to show people on Sunday night football what the Chiefs are really made of. Chris Russo asks Ian Eagle about travel while doing all these games and Mike Francesa eulogizes Robert Redford. AI search traffic is exploding — with AI Discovery up 527% year over year and ChatGPT traffic growing 85% in just six months — creating an unprecedented opportunity for brands willing to adapt their marketing strategies now. While most businesses are still figuring out what AI search even means, forward-thinking marketers are already capturing high-value traffic and securing prime recommendation spots in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Mode. For businesses ready to dominate this new search landscape, mastering AI search optimisation isn't optional — it's becoming the difference between market leadership and irrelevance. In this episode, I reveal:The exact audit process to assess your brand's current AI visibility (including which tools give you the most granular data about your performance across different LLMs)Why brands have a massive advantage in AI search results — and how to leverage your brand as a "defined entity" that LLMs can easily connect to other conceptsThe critical difference between generic content and what AI tools actually need (hint: they can generate generic information themselves — they need your first-party data and expertise)How third-party citations drive recommendations — including why AI tools would "rather go to someone else and look at what other people are saying about you than look at what you're saying about yourself"The specific content formats that get cited most frequently (based on analysis of top-performing brands across multiple industries)I'll share real examples from brands like MetLife, DeWalt, and Better.com, showing exactly how they're optimising for AI search — including surprising recommendations that go beyond marketing into actual product development. As I explain in the episode:"We're in a strange moment right now where some businesses are focusing really heavily on AI Search, but honestly, most companies aren't even thinking about this as a thing. Even though they themselves are using ChatGPT all day every day to find stuff to buy, they haven't really thought about how their brand shows up in these AI tools. And that means we're in a little bit of a land grab moment."If you're ready to implement these five AI search strategies while your competitors are still stuck in traditional SEO thinking, this episode provides your complete roadmap for dominating AI search in 2026 and beyond.Try Semrush's AI SEO Toolkit

Send us a textWhat a start to the 2025 NFL Season, folks. The Bills somehow scratch out a win against the Ravens in their last home opener at the Ralph. The guys go through what they saw and how this thing unfolded. They look ahead to what this means for the team for the remainder of the season and what they expect next week at MetLife.
As fun as the Jets game was, you are still pulling your hair out because that's a game they should have won. And it was Aaron Rodgers, no less, coming in and throwing 4 TDs. The Jets were the better team for all 4 quarters, but as Aaron Glenn said, there are no moral victories. And the stadium was full of Steelers fans. The Giants on the other hand looked like they have the last four years, not good. A caller said he felt out of place at MetLife as a Jets fan. Gio can't believe people still like to go to games. With the Giants, once again, we are watching the same thing we've been seeing year after year. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Jets loss against the Steelers. Aaron Glenn talked about the fumble and said players won't remain on the team if they have costly turnovers. Boomer liked Glenn's postgame press conference. Xavier Gipson talked about his costly fumble. Aaron Rodgers was asked about beating Glenn since he didn't want him any more. We heard Brandon Tierney's ‘Unkillable' podcast reaction after the Jets loss. We heard from Tommy Lugauer and Shaun Morash who both want Jaxson Dart to start. The Bills came back in the fourth quarter to beat the Ravens as Derrick Henry had a costly fumble. Lamar Jackson talked about his physical contact with a fan. The Yankees beat the Blue Jays and took the series. The Mets lost to the Reds and lost the series. In the final segment of the hour, a car somehow jumped both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Sunrise highway. The driver was having a medical event and somehow only had minor injuries.
Hour 1 We start the NFL season with two 0-1 teams yet again. The Jets offense looked surprisingly good but the defense gave up 4 TDs to Aaron Rodgers. The Jets also had a fumble on a kickoff return that really hurt them. Justin Fields made a lot of good throws. What will Brian Daboll do at quarterback? Gio said he cannot put Jaxson Dart out there behind that line. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Xavier Gipson fumble that really hurt them and the 60 yard FG that won the game. Mike Tomlin called the kicker a ‘serial killer'. Aaron Glenn talked about the discipline issues they had. Brian Daboll talked about the tough loss in Washington. We heard Daniel Jones throwing a beautiful pass for a TD as they had no problem with Miami. Mike McDaniel talked about what went wrong. The Ravens blew a big lead in the fourth quarter and lost to the Bills. Green Bay had no problem beating the Lions. The Yankees beat the Blue Jays and took the series as Cody Bellinger had a nice RBI. The Mets lost to the Reds and dropped the series. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls from Giants fans who are sick of the same old same old. Hour 2 We talked about the Giants quarterback situation and how they have to try hard not to screw up Jaxson Dart. It seems like the only chance Daboll has of keeping his job is starting Dart and him playing well. Callers are sick of the boring Giants offense. If the Giants don't win this week in Dallas, this has the makings of a 3-win season. They have the Chiefs and Chargers after that. A caller calls Andrew Thomas a ‘mutt' for not playing hurt. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Steelers beating the Jets with a 60 yard FG. Mike Tomlin described him as wanting to ‘bang from deep'. We heard the sounds of the Commanders having no problem with the Giants as they scored only 6 points. Malik Nabers talked about his spat with Daboll on the sideline. Russell Wilson was asked about the supposed package of plays for Jaxson Dart. Daniel Jones had a great day as the Colts beat the Dolphins. Buffalo scored 16 unanswered points to come back in the fourth quarter to beat the Ravens. Jerry went around the NFL. The Yankees took their series from the Blue Jays while the Mets lost theirs to the Reds. In the final segment of the hour, a fan shoved DeAndre Hopkins so Lamar Jackson shoved him back. Gio thinks moronic fans should keep their hands off the players. Hour 3 As fun as the Jets game was, you are still pulling your hair out because that's a game they should have won. And it was Aaron Rodgers, no less, coming in and throwing 4 TDs. The Jets were the better team for all 4 quarters, but as Aaron Glenn said, there are no moral victories.
