Griffin Warner and Lonte Smith talk CFB betting for Week 4. Early Reflections (0:32 – 4:26) Griffin celebrated the “first 2-0 of the season.” Lonte added, “Great weekend for us going 2-0… all the big games delivered.” Griffin recalled missing Tennessee-Georgia moments at an Arkansas watch party, while Lonte defended his Southern Miss pick, saying they “dominated this game” over App State. Market Volatility (4:27 – 6:40) Griffin called college line swings “chaos compared to the NFL or MLB.” Lonte noted CLV matters only “55% on three-plus moves.” Utah vs. Texas Tech (6:40 – 11:07) Utah's “60% rush success rate” and Morton's road issues (“80 grade at home, under 60 away”) led Lonte to lean Utah/under, projecting “23-20.” Griffin agreed: Utah -3. Michigan vs. Nebraska (11:43 – 14:33) Underwood's 114 yards, 2 TDs boost Michigan vs. Nebraska's weak run defense (“outside top 120 EPA”). Lonte leaned Huskers as home dogs; Griffin backed that angle. Auburn vs. Oklahoma (16:09 – 19:13) Auburn's defense “first in rush success rate allowed.” Lonte called for “23-20 or 20-17,” taking Auburn +6.5 and under. Griffin agreed, eyeing +7. Illinois vs. Indiana (20:21 – 25:02) Illinois' veteran team and Duke road win contrasted with Indiana QB Mendoza, who “struggles against blitz and man coverage.” Lonte liked Illinois +4.5/over. Best Bets (26:03 – 31:12) Lonte: UConn -21 (UConn “top 15 in success rate” vs. Ball State's defense “outside top 110”). Griffin: Utah -3 (trust in home edge, QB splits). Takeaway Defense, weak schedules, and market inefficiencies drove every angle. Player stats (Underwood's rushing, UConn's efficiency) and team metrics (Auburn's #1 defense) shaped sharp Week 4 picks. Hour 1 We started the show with the Mets, who had a big first inning and beat the Padres. We have 11 more games to go and the Diamondbacks are right on their heels. Gio is encouraged by last night. Boomer thought he gave up on the Mets. Gio thinks the Yankees should want to play the Astros so they can pay them back. The NFL came out and said Tom Brady is allowed to be in the Raiders' coaches' booth. Boomer has a cold already, so we set the over/under for illnesses for the show this Fall/Winter. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with something strange Al did on Monday that involves him being a ‘penis hypochondriac'. The Mets scored 5 in the first. The Yankees had a 10-1 lead and barely hung on to beat the Twins. Cal Raleigh hit his 55th and 56th home runs of the season. In the final segment of the hour, Gio has an odd story involving multiple men in a Penn Station bathroom. Gio has so many questions. Hour 2 The Giants play the Chiefs this week and Boomer said the Giants are going to be in for a rude awakening on offense as the Chiefs have a very good defense. The Chiefs have struggled offensively for the last 3 games. Boomer also said Brian Daboll is not getting fired during the season no matter what happens. This is actually a great time for the Giants to be playing the Chiefs. Gio said the sportsbooks are begging you to take the Giants at 5 ½. Gio thinks it's a ‘get right spot' for the Chiefs. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Yankees squeaking by the Twins after having a 10-1 lead and the Mets' big first inning as they beat the Padres. Nick Sirianni had to answer questions about his team being offside on the tush push. Dabo Swinney said if they're tired of winning, they can let him go. In the final segment of the hour, country singer Zach Bryan tried to fight another country artist, Gavin Adcock, at a festival. Hour 3 We started the hour talking about the Yankees and whether their fans want to face the Astros in the playoffs or if they are trying to avoid them. Two of our Yankees fans called and neither thought they could make it to the World Series. Boomer said the AL & NL are wide open for any playoff team to make it to the World Series. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees barely beating the Twins even though they had a 10-1 lead. Francisco Lindor's wife played the National Anthem on the violin before the game. Lindor himself homered a little while later. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs to make it 56 on the year. Jerry Jones was asked about the phrase, ‘glory hole'. Stephen A. Smith talked about Molly Qerim leaving ESPN. In the final segment of the hour, Gio's wife had to go into the city last night for a friend's birthday and that sounds like a nightmare. A Tuesday night Broadway show. Hour 4 Gio talked about taking a flight out of JFK and how expensive it cost to park but we still pay it because we want to get out of there. We also talked about choosing self-checkout over going to a cashier and how valet parking people are sometimes in cahoots with criminals. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first we hear from Cardi B as she said she and Stefon Diggs are having a baby. We heard from Pete Carroll on his relationship with Tom Brady. Brady is playing in some flag football game in Saudi Arabia. The Mets scored 5 runs in the first and beat the Padres. Evan Cedric Mullins homered. The Yankees had a 10-1 lead and then barely beat the Twins, 10-9. Cal Raleigh hit 2 more home runs making it 56 on the season. The Moment of The Day: Al had pain down there and used a mirror to find out what was wrong. In the final segment of the show, Mike Hill from Boomer's Foundation stopped by and told us about going to Burning Man.

Gio has no idea what to expect from the Mets the rest of the season. The good news is they're still in a playoff position. A woman calls in to see if Boomer is going to the Bengals Ring of Honor game, as she has tickets. Boomer said he thinks he is going. Jerry returns for an update, but first we got to watch some of the footage from Skratch from our match at Pebble Beach. Jerry starts with the sounds of the Chargers beating the Raiders as Geno Smith was picked 3 times. Jim Harbaugh talked about having ‘multiple guys open' on every down. The Bucs came back to beat the Texans. Aaron Glenn met the media after watching the tape and talked about the loss to Buffalo. Brian Daboll was asked about the soft defensive coverage that let Dallas score to tie the game with seconds to play. JJ McCarthy is out this week and it could be 2-4 weeks. The Yankees were shutout in Minnesota, 7-0. The Phillies clinched the N.L. East. In the final segment of the hour, the Dolphins are a 12 point underdog against the Bills and it's only week 3. If they get whooped in Buffalo, Gio thinks they could fire Mike McDaniel. We talked more about Tom Brady being in the Raider's coach's booth last night. He's doing the Bears/Cowboys game this week and then the Bears play the Raiders. Boomer said Ben Johnson shouldn't talk to him.

Jerry starts with the sounds of the Chargers beating the Raiders. We heard from Jim Harbaugh after the game. The Bucs beat the Texans in the early game. Aaron Glenn talked to the media and compared the Jets to building Legos. Brian Daboll talked about having to be better all around. The Yankees were shutout in Minnesota, 7-0.

Gio wonders what's worse, decaf coffee or non-alcoholic beer. We took a lot of calls from people who drink decaf and want to fight Gio about it. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Chargers beating the Raiders to improve to 2-0. Jim Harbaugh talked about it being a ‘blue collar game'. Aaron Glenn met the media and compared the season to Legos. He also said a season is not ‘instant coffee'. In the past Robert Saleh called the NFL an ‘instant coffee' world. The Yankees were shutout in Minnesota, 7-0. The Phillies clinched the NL East. The Moment of The Day: Adam Schein on the Chicago Bears: Amateur hour. In the final segment of the show, we talked about the upcoming final games of the regular season for the Mets. 8-4 in the last 12 will guarantee them a spot. Gio thinks they will go 6-6 and still make it.
It should piss the Mets off that they were leading the division earlier in the year and last night the Phillies were celebrating the NL East title yet again. I guess it's possible for the Mets to catch fire the rest of the season and into the playoffs. A caller thinks Brian Daboll's approach to the media will get him fired. We also talked about the resurgence of Daniel Jones in Indianapolis. Gio wonders how Boomer thinks Carson Wentz will play this week for the Vikings. Jim Irsay's daughter has been on the sidelines with a headset on and a clipboard. Gio wonders what's on her clipboard. Adam Schein talked about how bad the Bears are, considering he thought they would be good this year. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer did change out the coffee in the back and then he told us Robert Redford and Eddie Giacomin passed away.
