This is a sneak peak to what will be offered in our Wise and Wild Women's Retreat in October 2018. This meditation guides you to the source of creativity and invites you to honor, nourish, and inspire the feminine. This is an offering of breathing sweetly, moving freely, and expressing powerfully.
Breathe in and experience the fullness of the lungs, the expansion of the body, and the abundance that exists in each moment. May we think, speak, and act from this place of enough-ness and offer the practice up to the wellness and freedom for all beings.
Welcome the new year by initiating and remembering sankalpa, or the heart's longing. Yoga becomes a living and practical practice when we align our thoughts, words, and actions to our sankalpa. Yoga, then becomes an offering to the well-being, the freedom, and joy for all beings everywhere.
In this episode, Meredith guides you to the bottom of the exhale, only to observe the new and life-giving inhale. Through this practice, we learn about impermanence and the life-death-life again cycle. Meredith shares a bit of her own and current experience with letting a relationship go and staying open and present to what THIS new moment has to offer. She talks about avidya, or the inability to see things or be with things as they are, and how the practice of meditation helps us engage more honestly with life as it arises, unfolds, and passes away.
In this very first episode, Meredith take some time guiding you into a comfortable and sustainable seat. She then offers a 4-part breathing practice to lengthen and strengthen the breath and follows up with a simple, focal-point meditation. She talks about how this practice is about being and staying AWAKE in the world- living more clearly, fully, and compassionately.
