*Listen to the Show notes and podcast transcript with this multi-language player. Summary The discussion focuses on becoming living epistles—believers whose lives and words embody the living Christ. Using the parable of the wise and foolish virgins as a foundation, the speakers emphasize that maintaining the oil of the Spirit is essential to engage with the Bridegroom. True transformation and ministry flow not from intellect or revelation alone, but from impartation—the living Word of Christ spoken through a heart filled with the Holy Spirit. The group also reflects on building upon the true foundation of Christ, allowing the Spirit—not human leadership—to guide this maturing movement. The conversation concludes with an acknowledgment of God's love, grace, and free will given to all, highlighting that every person is being drawn to deeper relationship and maturity in Him. Show Notes • The parable of the five wise and five foolish virgins illustrates spiritual readiness through maintaining the anointing (oil). • Revelation is valuable, but the goal is relationship and impartation, not just knowledge. • Living epistles are those who speak Christ—their words create, impart, and transform. • The true Word of the Lord brings fruit; if no fruit appears, it's time for growth, not condemnation. • Foundation in Christ remains essential—believers must build upon it, not start over. • The movement today is leaderless in human terms but guided by the Spirit of Christ, the true Apostle and Head. • As each person matures, roles shift—sometimes shepherd, sometimes sheep—all under grace. • Even those focused on basic salvation messages have their purpose in God's plan. • Spiritual growth comes through hunger and choice—a willingness to move beyond the familiar. • God's plan is inclusive—He gives everyone opportunity to come into the knowledge of the Lord. • We are living in the day of impartation, where transformation happens through the Spirit's presence and spoken Word. Quotes • “Without the oil—the anointing, the Holy Spirit—there's no connection.” — Ken • “The true living epistles aren't revelators or expositors. They are those who speak Christ in the earth.” — Ron • “If a true living epistle speaks to you, you're going to change if your heart's open.” — Ron • “Be careful how you build on that foundation.” — Ken (quoting Paul) • “We're leaning on the Spirit to lead us. The true apostle is Christ Himself, the Head.” — Mike • “It's because we're solid in that foundation that we can go higher in revelation.” — Lois • “Every heart has to decide—am I hungry enough to seek out something different?” — Ron • “This is the day of Spirit—the year of Spirit—we are there.” — Ken Scriptural References • Matthew 25:1–13 — The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins; keeping oil (the Spirit) to engage the Bridegroom. • 2 Corinthians 3:2–3 — You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men... written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. • John...

The sermon centers on the biblical principle of stewardship, emphasizing that every believer is accountable to God for how they manage the time, talents, treasures, and opportunities entrusted to them. Drawing from the parable of the unjust steward in Luke 16 and the parable of the talents in Matthew 25, it underscores that while the steward's dishonesty was not commended, his foresight and proactive planning in securing his future reflect a vital lesson: all believers must prepare for a day of reckoning when they will give an account of their stewardship. The message calls for a shift from attitudes of entitlement, hoarding, or fear-driven inaction to one of gratitude, generosity, and faithful investment in God's purposes, highlighting that true stewardship is marked by diligence, initiative, and a heart that sees all things as belonging to God. Ultimately, the sermon encourages believers to set achievable goals in 2026, not for personal gain, but to honor God, knowing that faithfulness in small things leads to greater rewards, recognition, and joy in God's presence.

You'll also learn why professional planning helps ensure that your money continues to grow, even as your needs and goals evolve. Full DescriptionMany retirees feel comfortable keeping large portions of their retirement plan in cash. It provides stability, avoids market swings, and seems like the safe choice. However, cash alone cannot keep up with inflation. While every plan needs liquidity for emergencies, relying on cash at the expense of growth may limit your long-term success. WHY FINANCIAL SUCCESS IS MORE ABOUT BEHAVIOR THAN MATH FROM BALTIMORE WASHINGTON FINANCIAL ADVISORS Tyler Kluge | CFP®, CPWA®, CDFA®, CEPS Financial Planner, BWFA Tessa Hall Media and Communications Specialist, BWFA About This Episode Financial success is not just about spreadsheets or calculations. Learn how habits, mindset, and everyday decisions often have a greater impact on long-term financial outcomes. Full Description Many people believe financial success comes down to formulas, calculations, and choosing the right investments. While the numbers matter, they are rarely the sole driver of long-term outcomes. In reality, behavior often plays a far greater role than most people expect. In this episode of Healthy, Wealthy & Wise, the discussion explores why financial success is shaped more by decisions and habits than by math alone. Listeners will learn how everyday choices, emotional responses, and long-term behaviors influence financial progress over time. The episode explains how consistency, patience, and follow-through often outweigh technical knowledge. Even well-structured financial plans can struggle when decisions are driven by fear, impulse, or short-term reactions. Recognizing these patterns can help individuals better understand where challenges may arise. The conversation also addresses common behavioral obstacles, such as reacting to market swings, increasing spending during strong income years, or avoiding difficult financial conversations. These behaviors can quietly erode progress, even when income and savings appear healthy on paper. Financial behavior develops over time and is shaped by experiences, confidence, and past outcomes. By understanding these influences, individuals can begin to identify habits that either support or limit long-term success. This episode emphasizes awareness and intentional decision-making rather than optimization or complexity. Small behavioral shifts, when paired with thoughtful planning, can lead to more sustainable outcomes. At BWFA, we help clients build financial plans that account for both the numbers and the human side of decision-making. This episode offers perspective for anyone seeking greater confidence by focusing on the habits that truly drive financial success. PLATO'S LETTERS AND THE WHITEWASHING OF DION Colleague Professor James Romm. The conversation examines Plato's thirteen letters, specifically the five Romm believes are genuine regarding the Syracuse affair. Platoviewed himself as a wise lawgiver capable of reforming a tyrant, though he was naive about practical politics. In the seventh letter, Plato attempts to rehabilitate the reputation of his associate Dion, spinning the narrative to portray Dion as a virtuous victim of evil rather than admitting his political failures. GrangerSaint Symeon the New Theologian (949 -1022 AD) was an Eastern Orthodox monk and poet who was one of the three saints canonized by the Eastern Orthodox Church and given the title of "Theologian." "Theologian" was not applied to Symeon in the modern academic sense of theological study; the title was intended only to recognise someone who spoke from personal experience of the vision of God. One of his principal teachings was that humans could and should experience theoria (literally "contemplation," or direct experience of God).Symeon was born into the Byzantine nobility and given a traditional education. At age fourteen, he met Symeon the Studite, a renowned monk of the Monastery of Stoudios in Constantinople, who convinced him to give his own life to prayer and asceticism under the elder Symeon's guidance. By the time he was thirty, Symeon the New Theologian became the abbot of the Monastery of Saint Mamas, a position he held for twenty-five years. He attracted many monks and clergy with his reputation for sanctity, though his teachings brought him into conflict with church authorities, who would eventually send him into exile. Symeon is recognized as the first Eastern Christian mystic to share his own mystical experiences freely. Some of his writings are included in the Philokalia, a collection of texts by early Christian mystics on contemplative prayer and hesychast teachings. Symeon wrote and spoke frequently about the importance of experiencing directly the grace of God, often talking about his own experiences of God as divine light. Another common subject in his writings was the need of putting oneself under the guidance of a spiritual father. The authority for many of his teachings derived from the traditions of the Desert Fathers, early Christian monks and ascetics. Symeon's writings include Hymns of Divine Love, Ethical Discourses, and The Catechetical Discourses.Photography: George Digalakis ~ The Sound of Silence  / georgedigalakisphotography  https://www.digalakisphotography.com/Music: "Let My Love Be Heard" by Jake Runestad.
