As a kid I never asked questions. I didn’t want to look stupid and it stemmed from insecurity. As I’ve grown, & I know that God loves me despite my shortcomings, my fear of looking stupid has diminished almost completely. I think the little saying in the proper order deserves a tad more credit than we’d like to think. When we can’t give of ourselves anymore, is that not the time & place to ask God to sustain us. To give us a little more grace for the day, so that we can keep giving. Through his sustaining love, I know we can love others in a radical way. Putting Jesus first we not only take care of others better, but we also are taken care of in the process. Still low key upset about the self love movement If you haven’t noticed
