This podcast shares the stories of undocumented immigrants in the United States. The purpose of this podcast is to advocate for the passage of the H.R.6 Dream and Promise Act, a bill that paves the path towards United States Citizenship.

Today's episode features Shereen Rad, where she speaks about intersectionality, specifically with the Haitian community. According to The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, the U.S. has consistently detained more Haitian families in 2020 than any other nationality. Our own Gabriela Flores led today's update on all-things-DACA and the world of immigration reform. In addition, our first guest (Guest #1) joined us to talk about his experience as an immigrant from Haiti! Upcoming Event: "Evening of Action" hosted by the Friends Committee on National Legislation. This event will be held virtually on Zoom on Wednesday, September 16th, at 7:30 PM EST. We will be writing powerful letters and emails to our elected officials, sharing feedback on our letters with each other, and submitting them together in one collective action.
