HUGE BLACK FRIDAY SALE | All masterclasses 50% off! Subliminals 3 for 1! FREE month in the Book Club B*tches! This week we're talking about living your future, dream life right now, Wintering, snow days, and… my 2026 surgery goals (yes, the tits are coming). But the heart of this episode comes from an amazing question I was asked by a woman in the audience at my Birmingham event:“When you're stuck between two decisions and you can't choose… what do you do?”Because this kind of stuckness, deliberating, debating, thinking in circles energy? It is a HUGE energy leak & we've all been there.Do I stay in this job or leave?Do I move city or stay put?Is this relationship right? What is the “right” next chapter? That stuck energy can absolutely paralyse you.THE TWO-PART SOLUTIONPART ONE: Bring the focus back to YOUWhen you don't know the big answer yet, redirect the energy. You might not know:Where you want to live…but you know you want to feel healthier and more grounded. What your dream job is…but you know you want more fun, more joy, more friends, more life.Who your future husband is…but you know you want your home to feel beautiful, peaceful, organised. So start there.Start with what you do know.Pour your energy into strengthening YOU instead of obsessing over the decision.PART TWO: What do you actually want from the change?Instead of obsessing over the label (“new job,” “new city,” “new partner”), ask:How would my daily or weekly life actually change?Would you dress differently?Would your routine be different?Would you socialise in different places or with different people?Would you walk more?Go to the gym?Work around others instead of alone?Say yes to more invitations? And then ask the golden question:What elements of that dream life can I have RIGHT NOW, where I am?THE TWO RESULTS1️⃣ You start LIVING your future life now which attracts more of itYou can't manifest a joyful, full, creative, connected, healthy life while living like a drained shell of yourself waiting for a sign.Manifestation requires ACTION and (yes) a bit of delulu energy.2️⃣ You realise you can experience so many parts of your dream life in your CURRENT realitySuddenly the “big decision” matters less.Because you're already building a life that feels good now.Live the life you want before it arrives - and you'll be shocked at how fast it finds you.Thank you so much for listening, find me on the gram @francescaamber & @lawofattractionchangedmylife Get your 2026 goal setting tickets!See you next week, Fran xxx Hosted on Acast. What happens when a founder who built a billion dollar company during a global crisis steps into the centre of industrial AI and begins reshaping how entire organisations think and work? That question sat at the heart of my conversation with Somya Kapoor, CEO of IFS Loops, recorded live on the show floor at IFS Industrial X Unleashed. Somya's journey carries a level of grit and perspective that shines through every answer. She shared how surviving the Gulf War as a child shaped her instinct to take on the hardest problems in technology. That mindset not only guided her early career at SAP, ServiceNow, and other enterprise giants, it also laid the foundation for Loops, the agentic platform she co-founded in 2020 with a simple scribble on a notepad that eventually grew into one of the most significant acquisitions in the IFS ecosystem. Her stories about early rejections, the wave of scepticism around AI in the early days, and the first customer conversations held on Zoom during lockdown reveal the human side behind a platform many now take seriously across the industrial world. Across the episode, Somya explained in plain terms what makes IFS Loops so different. The platform connects data across systems using natural language, helps redesign processes that used to be locked inside individual applications, and introduces digital workers that remove the grunt work from everyday operations. She brought the technology to life with examples that landed with real clarity. From supplier order handling to complex field service tasks, and the now famous Kodiak Gas case where thousands of hours were saved each year, she showed how agentic workflows change what is possible for industrial companies who have spent decades wrestling with fragmented data and rigid processes. We also talked about the importance of keeping people at the centre of AI driven change. Somya was clear that amplification, not replacement, is the story that matters. The shift requires new skills, new supervision models, and a thoughtful approach to adoption. Her reflections on change management, the energy she felt from customers at the event, and the speed at which leaders now want to move painted a picture of an industry that feels very different from the early days of AI excitement. The hesitation has faded. Curiosity has taken over. Action is starting to follow. Somya closed with a message aimed at every leader who might still be watching from the sidelines. The technology is real, adoption is accelerating, and the window to learn, experiment, and adapt is narrowing. She believes this is the moment for teams to decide whether they want to lead or be led by others who are moving faster. As you listen to this conversation, I'd love to hear what stood out for you. Do you feel the same shift in confidence and urgency around industrial AI that Somya described? Let me know your thoughts.   Tech Talks Daily is Sponsored by NordLayer: Get the exclusive Black Friday offer: 28% off NordLayer yearly plans with the coupon code: techdaily-28. In this solo episode, Shannon Jamail gets real about something every retreat leader needs to hear: failure isn't the enemy - it's proof that you're in the game. If you're not failing, you're not trying hard enough. Shannon dives into why "falling short" - whether it's your finances, your workshop, your attendance, or your execution - isn't something to avoid, it's something to learn from. You can hire the best coach, join the smartest program, and learn from the pros… and you'll still make mistakes. The difference? You'll fail faster and smarter. Shannon also shares how community is the real secret weapon for success - and how the Retreat Industry Forum is designed to bring that support, connection, and collective wisdom together for retreat hosts ready to grow. Key Takeaways If you're not failing, you're not stretching yourself enough. Failure doesn't mean your retreat "flopped" — it means something fell short and gave you data. The biggest mistake is waiting on the sidelines instead of doing the thing. Coaching and programs can help minimize expensive mistakes, but you'll still fail — that's how you grow. Community is what turns failure into forward momentum — and that's exactly what the Retreat Industry Forumis all about. "NO LIMITS: FROM THE PROJECTS TO THE PEAK OF POWER" Follow us on all our social platforms @GrantCardone In this powerhouse episode of The Cardone Zone, Grant brings you two extraordinary stories of ascent from nothing to the top of the business world—real-life proof that your beginnings don't determine your finish line. First, Grant sits down with a real-estate force who went from $600 in his pocket to managing a $4 BILLION development pipeline. He breaks down the mindset shift that took him from pumping gas and cleaning dental offices to building Angel's Landing, one of the boldest developments in downtown Los Angeles.  His message is clear: Cash flow beats net worth. Money should work harder than you do. Action destroys excuses. His journey—from a childhood shaped by the struggles of the segregation era to sitting at the table with Senators, bankers, and decision-makers by age 26—proves that the American Dream belongs to anyone willing to hustle, learn, and never quit. Then Grant welcomes Lloyd Blankfein, former CEO of Goldman Sachs, a man who helped generate over half a trillion dollars in revenue during his run. But instead of a privileged Wall Street origin story, Lloyd reveals the truth: He grew up in Brooklyn public housing, hustling from age 13—selling popcorn at Yankee Stadium, delivering prescriptions, tutoring for $1.50 an hour—all fueled by one thing: escaping poverty. His parents worked blue-collar jobs, and the motivation of "no choice but to succeed" pushed him from a tough NYC school to Harvard on a scholarship, and eventually to the top of global finance. Lloyd shares what it was like sitting across from titans like Bezos, Musk, and the world's most powerful financial players—proving that ambition, discipline, and refusing to stay stuck can take you from the projects to the pinnacle of power. This episode is pure jet fuel for anyone ready to stop making excuses and start making moves. Send us a textThe first voice on a 911 call carries a lot more than a headset. In this candid, unfiltered conversation with veteran dispatcher and recovery coach Lisa Trusas, we pull back the curtain on what really happens at the console: juggling multiple emergencies at once, coaching panicked parents through CPR, catching danger in a whisper, and making judgment calls with lives on the line. Lisa's story reframes dispatch as the heart of public safety—where police, fire, and EMS meet—and where the weight of uncertainty often lingers after the line goes dead.We dig into the human cost of the work and the culture that shapes it. Lisa lays out the “double stigma” dispatchers face—expected to be as tough as sworn personnel while being dismissed as civilians when they seek help. We compare how fire and police approach debriefs and mental health, why dispatchers are too often left out of critical incident reviews, and how Massachusetts' mandatory behavioral health training is a step forward. Along the way, we discuss the “300-call syndrome,” the risk of missing red flags after too many routine hang-ups, and the practical skills that matter most: active listening, reading background noise, trusting instincts, and knowing when to insist on a second unit. This conversation also honors the rare moments of closure that keep people going—the infant saved over the phone who grows up and stays in touch—and the quieter calls that reveal unmet needs, like elders who call because they're lonely. If you care about first responder mental health, emergency communications, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed practice, this is a grounded, real-world look at where help truly begins: the first call. I have lots of thoughts to share today of things I think we should normalize.    Things that aren't considered normal in general in the world we live in and I'm going to argue my point of why I think they should be.   For us and for our families and for the people around us.   Because our goal is to always strive for fulfillment and joy and health and longevity and peace of mind and all of these ideas I'm going to present to you today support all of that.   I'm going to get heat for some of these and I love it because its against the grain and thinking for ourselves and being exceptional.      Things To Normalize Normalize saying no to cheap dopamine and yes to deep dopamine. Joy comes from doing what you're built to do. Action over distraction. Delay instant gratification for meaningful payoff. Bring your own food places when you don't like the options. Take ownership of your choices instead of settling for what's easy. Assume people will make mistakes and ask questions, double check things, and take notes. It's not negative. It's responsible. Normalize working hard, including on weekends, when you're pursuing something you believe in. Showing up when it counts matters. Especially at unconventional hours. Normalize not drinking until you throw up. Choose self mastery and presence instead of blackout culture. Clarity over blur. Presence over party. Normalize not having sex until you find someone you deeply respect or want to build a life with. Choose what matches your values instead of what culture expects. Normalize starting something brand new and taking big risks, even when people think it's strange. Launch even when you're scared. Normalize celebrating your wins as big as birthdays. If it mattered to you, it's worth celebrating. Normalize working out seven days a week with rest and stretch built in. Movement is medicine. Make it a daily non negotiable. Normalize questioning teachers, institutions, and systems when something doesn't make sense. Stand up for your kids and yourself with confidence and curiosity. Normalize using your calendar as your measure of wealth. Time matters more than money. Protect it. Normalize defining success for yourself. Choose your own values and live by them with confidence. Normalize being loud, opinionated, and real when something matters. Speak up. Be fiery. Be aligned. Normalize rest and recovery as essential parts of working hard. Rest is productive. Rest gives you your edge. Normalize letting your kids see you hustle, fail, pivot, and rise. Show the process, not perfection. Normalize doing things you're not good at yet. The climb has no peak. Let yourself be a beginner. Normalize saying "I don't know." Honesty and humility create real strength. Normalize choosing your inner circle intentionally. Your environment shapes your growth. Curate it well. Normalize early mornings, disciplined schedules, and foundational habits. Keep life simple and focused. Normalize embracing pain and discomfort as signs you're growing. Lean into growth rather than backing away from it. Normalize enjoying the process instead of obsessing over the outcome. Appreciate the now. Joy lives in the doing. Normalize aligning your body, mind, and spirit with your purpose. Success includes health, relationships, and inner peace. Normalize valuing your health as highly as you value your work. Health is foundational to everything else. Normalize being different, weird, or exceptional. Normal actions get normal results. Stand out proudly. Normalize prioritizing sleep, recovery, and emotional wellbeing. Rest deeply and intentionally. Normalize teaching your kids to build their own path. Encourage their independence and confidence. Normalize celebrating vulnerability, asking for help, and being transparent about your journey. Choose authenticity over perfection.   CHEERS to creating your own normal that makes your life more awesome!

As we come into the home stretch of 2025, I'm thrilled to share today's interview with Asha Curran, CEO and co-founder of GivingTuesday, the global generosity movement now active in 111+ countries. Asha shares the origin story of GivingTuesday, which began as a three-month experiment inside the 92nd Street Y and has since grown into one of the most significant grassroots social change movements in the world—one built on radical trust, co-ownership, and the belief that every person has something to give. Together, we explore how generosity strengthens communities, how charities can evolve beyond transactional fundraising, and why participation—not just money—is the true engine of long-term impact. We also discuss the deep civic implications of everyday giving, the rise of collective movements, and how each of us can live more generously—not just on one day a year, but in the way we walk through life. Whether you work at a nonprofit, care about charities in your community, or simply want inspiration for how you can make a bigger impact, this is a conversation for every changemaker.

This week, I want to explore something most people overlook: the paradox of friendship. I wrote a piece for a new podcast episode called “The Friendship Frequency” - The Paradox of Friendship: How Not Needing Friends Draws the Right Ones Closer Reflecting on the previous conversation on “Validation,” I see a strong correlation between seeking and obtaining friends and the desire for validation. This can get sticky as we find ourselves seeking friends for the wrong reasons, which means getting tethered to the wrong people who not only don't serve you and your goals and dreams, but also cause conflict and unnecessary distraction. I interviewed an extraordinary guest on my podcast named Chris Bailey who has a crazy viral TED Talk on this topic We're taught to find good friends, to look for connection, to build community. But what if the real secret to attracting the right friends isn't about seeking at all? What if it begins with becoming comfortable walking alone, and realizing that we were never truly alone to start with? Here's the paradox: the less we need friendship to feel whole, the more we attract friends who are whole themselves. The person who doesn't cling, doesn't perform, and doesn't chase — becomes magnetic. It's the same principle that applies in business and leadership: the individual who leads with calm confidence, who doesn't exude desperation for clients or approval, naturally draws people in. So today's conversation isn't about loneliness — it's about wholeness. It's about understanding how self-friendship becomes the signal that draws in the right people, and how those relationships enrich our lives when they're built on resonance rather than need. True leadership isn't a hypothesis. It's not a deck, a model, or a clever philosophy. Leadership is the courage to take real action that drives behavior change — top to bottom, across every workflow, every role, every moment of truth with customers. When leaders move from theorizing to actually doing, alignment becomes the natural byproduct. People know where the organization is rowing. They understand how their work ties to revenue, to customers, to each other — and to a sense of personal pride and contribution. That clarity eliminates “busy work,” accelerates innovation, and builds a culture of shared accountability. This episode breaks down the operational mechanics of leadership as action:How behavior change scales when leaders set the standardWhy alignment requires friction — and fixing it is the fun workWhat happens when every team member knows their lane and their freedomHow real leadership eliminates stall-outs and ignites creativityWhen you make action the expectation of leadership — from the executive suite to emerging talent — you unlock impact, culture, and growth in the same breath.

It's always preferable to have our usual dynamic duo piloting the podcast. But when that's not the case, it usually means we're making room for some special guests. For this episode, we've got two who know their way around movie making and are using that knowledge to make a positive impact on all of Wisconsin.Writer/director Nathan Deming, who hails from the northern reaches of the state, is smack dab in the middle of an ambition project to create 12 films set in Wisconsin, with each taking place in a different month (January and February are already a wrap). Jeffrey Kurz is a Racine native and former studio exec at Miramax Films. Both are involved with Action! Wisconsin, a statewide group pushing to make Wisconsin friendlier for film and television production. It's not just movie types involved, either. In addition to the many people involved in film production — from directors to technicians — the coalition includes city governments, hotels, restaurants, small-business owners and educators. Their goal: to create jobs, lift local economies and promote tourism across the state. They scored a big win earlier this year, when Wisconsin legislators passed and Governor Tony Evers signed into law the creation of production incentives and a state film office. You'll hear from Deming and Kurz about how that victory happened, how filming in Wisconsin can be a win for everyone and a few personal stories from their own movie-watching histories (including the ones that made them cry).#####Cinebuds is sponsored by Joe Wilde Co.

If the Doctrine and Covenants is the capstone of the Restoration, how does it conclude? It ends with a booming warning and an urgent political declaration. D&C 133 provides the final marching orders for the Church: prepare for Christ's return. Summary: In this episode, we analyze the urgent call to action in the Appendix (D&C 133) and the foundational principles of religious liberty (D&C 134). D&C 133: The Prophetic Appendix. This section is a restatement of the urgent warnings in D&C 1. The Lord commands the Saints to "prepare ye, prepare ye" and to "go ye out from Babylon" to avoid the destruction of the last days. This involves the call to "be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord." We explore the magnificent, yet terrifying, description of the Second Coming: Christ, "mighty to save," descending with "dyed garments"—red from having "trodden the wine-press alone"—a powerful symbol of both judgment and sacrificial love. The section concludes with the tender reassurance that "in all their afflictions he was afflicted." D&C 134: Church & State. Written in 1835, this declaration defines the Church's stance on civil governance, reflecting the persecution the Saints had endured. Government's Role: We believe governments are "instituted of God for the benefit of man" and should secure the "free exercise of conscience," property rights, and the protection of life. Freedom of Conscience: The central principle is clear: civil magistrates should "restrain crime, but never control conscience; should punish guilt, but never suppress the freedom of the soul." We advocate for a separation of Church and State, believing it is not right to "mingle religious influence with civil government" in a way that fosters one religion while suppressing another. Painful Compromises: We discuss the difficult historical context of verse 12, where the Church states it will "not interfere with bond-servants," revealing the painful compromises sometimes necessary in a fallen world to secure peace and the higher goal of preaching the gospel. Call-to-Action: What aspect of "Babylon" are you striving to leave behind this week? What does it mean to you to "be ye clean"? Share your commitment in the comments!
