We got a live rollicking one! Andy and Brendan went live after leaving the opening round of The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. They react to some early mover and shakers, Collin Morikawa's instant WD, and how the course changed, evolved, and punched back at the players early in the championship. They react to Rory McIlroy giving it a run with his injury and Scottie Scheffler's somewhat middling round with some struggles off the tee. They make some predictions for the next three days and also discuss some storylines that no one is talking about here. They spend the last half of the podcast reacting to Brian Rolapp's grand rollout of some major plans to change and tweak the PGA Tour as announced on Wednesday in a theatrical setting at the Global Home. Can he actually get this proposal across the line facing increased pushback from players and other stakeholders in the game? Thank you to Optum for their support of our Players Championship coverage.

If this military campaign is ended prematurely, and the second phase of ensuring the institution of a civil government is not accomplished, chances are this entire effort will be for naught.  The economic, geo-political, and national security gains, which have been immense, and the stated goal of liberating the Iranian people, which initiated this process, could become a disaster in every respect -- including political. After we destroyed the Japanese regime in WWII, the U.S. wrote their constitution and installed a government that would be aligned with us.  We must give very focused thought to what comes after the Iranian regime's navy, air force, missiles, and top leadership are destroyed.  It still has a standing army, secret police, and an entire Islamist-supporting infrastructure.  There are many approaches to dealing with this short of a democracy project or sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers.  But to be clear, if a void is created and left there, and we do not fill it (perhaps with our allies) or significantly influence how it is tilled, it most definitely will be filled by the forces in Iran that remain from the old regime with the support of their allies, including China and Russia. Also, polls show that 91% approve of President Trump's handling of the Iran situation among MAGA supporters and 83% among Republicans. Since Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Steve Bannon, and Candace Owens opposed this military campaign, their audience must largely consist of leftists, anti-Semites, foreigners, Islamists, Marxists, and Democrats. Later, Democrats fiercely oppose voter ID requirements, particularly photo IDs, despite broad public support across all races.  Photo IDs are routinely required for everyday activities, yet Democrats claim they are too difficult to obtain, especially for Black people and married women, which is inherently racist and condescending. Without photo ID verification, there is no reliable way to confirm a voter's identity, prevent double voting, or stop impersonation, particularly in the 11 states (mostly Democratic) that do not require any ID.  Finally, Dr James Lindsay calls in and argues that efforts to drive a wedge between Jews and Christians, and to redefine Americanism, stem from multiple interconnected motives. Primarily, opponents of President Trump are now attempting to weaken him and his agenda from within by fracturing his coalition. This includes pushing the Republican Party toward a more radical, identity-based politics inspired by failed European conservatism, moving away from the traditional American ideal of equal citizenship regardless of background. Influencers driving these narratives are motivated by a mix of genuine ideological commitment to paleoconservative or Buchanan-style views, financial incentives like chasing clicks, payments, bot amplification, and foreign boosting, all converging to reorganize the Republican Party and sever U.S.-Israel ties to diminish America's global defensive posture. Are you trapped in an identity that no longer fits who you are becoming? In this episode of Makes Sense with Dr. JC Doornick, we explore a simple yet life-changing mental tool: the three words “at this time.” These words have the power to transform rigid, permanent beliefs about yourself into flexible, evolving perspectives that create psychological freedom. Dr. JC explains how many of the stories we tell about ourselves—“I'm not confident,” “I always fail,” “That's just who I am”—are actually outdated predictions created by the brain. By adding the phrase “at this time,” you can loosen the grip of past identity, revisit your life with compassion, and reconnect with what truly matters right now. Through the powerful Lifeline Exercise from Makes Sense, this episode shows how to reframe your past, release regret, and step into the next version of yourself with clarity and intention. Because who you were yesterday doesn't have to define who you become next. Confidence isn't just mindset crap. It affects your pricing, your messaging, your sales conversations and your boundaries. And ultimately - whether your retreat fills or flops. In this episode, Shannon is joined by leadership expert, sales strategist, and bestselling author Nathan Jamail (she is biased, but he is pretty damn amazing) to unpack the real reason many retreat leaders struggle to sell out their events: lack of business confidence. They discuss: Imposter syndrome in the retreat industry Underpricing rooted in insecurity Overexplaining instead of leading What confident messaging actually sounds like How to build real, earned business confidence They also share that this episode was recorded in their new studio space in Austin - and you can now watch the full conversation on YouTube. If you've ever doubted yourself while launching a retreat, this episode will challenge and strengthen you. What You'll Learn Why confidence directly impacts conversions The hidden cost of underpricing How retreat leaders accidentally repel buyers The difference between loud marketing and confident leadership The discipline required to build real business confidence Key Takeaways Imposter syndrome doesn't disappear - it's managed through action. Underpricing signals insecurity to your audience. Overexplaining weakens authority. Confident leaders make clear decisions and stand by them. Confidence is built through preparation, skill, and repetition - not affirmations alone. Ever feel like you're doing everything “right” and still spinning your wheels? We cut through the noise and get honest about what actually moves the needle, clear goals, tighter boundaries, and small promises you keep every day until confidence becomes your default. No calendars, no clichés, no borrowed motivation from a Monday or a new year. Just the real talk that helps you act today. We start with identity: swapping old trophies and stale narratives for training that fits real life. Omar and Tyler open up about injuries, aging, and why the mind is the strongest muscle in the room. From marathon seasons to Hyrox ambitions, the lesson is the same—focus beats outrage. If a halftime show can steal your day, so can a candy aisle engineered to light up your dopamine. That's why cold-turkey crash plans fail and why sustainable change starts with frictionless habits you can repeat when birthdays, travel, and holidays roll in.We also go deep on entrepreneurship and self-respect: charging what you're worth, refusing to blur friendships with discounts, and letting “no” be part of a healthy sales pipeline. Virtual coaching shines here—systems that meet you anywhere, structured accountability, and the why behind the what so you're not white-knuckling a diet. Expect clear timelines too: most people can safely drop 20–30 pounds in 16 weeks, with heavier clients seeing even more when fully compliant. The first month often hits faster; then plateaus require smarter adjustments, not panic.By the end, you'll have a blueprint for sustainable fat loss, a mindset reset to stop outsourcing your future to the calendar, and the confidence that comes from doing exactly what you said you would. Are you working against yourself in business? In this episode of Choice, Change and Action, Simone Milasas talks with Cassy Summers about business done different rather than business done as per this reality. What capacities in business have you been disregarding and not acknowledging? Stop killing future possibilities by your judgments and conclusions about business and about you in business. What you know about business is what you know; you don't need a degree. Explore what else is possible! Questions And Tools: "What energy is required today?"/"What energy does this project require?" "What can I be?" "I can create this. I can choose this. What do I require?" "What magic, miracles and chaos can this business be?" "Is it going to be fun?" Tools: Listen for what your point of view is and POD and POC. Start being what you be and a different reality can show up. Come out of judgement and acknowledge your capacities. Ask to increase them, and choose more. It's not about avoiding anything, it's about embracing everything. Surround yourself with capable people and listen. How would you do business? What do you know about it? Invite the energy of chaos into your business. When hiring, ask for people who are better than you to show up. How many more revenue streams can you ask for? How many of you are working against yourselves rather than with your capacities? Everything that is, times a godzillion, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, all 100, shorts, boys, POVADs, creations, bases and beyonds. How many things in business are you avoiding that if you didn't avoid them would expand your business? Everything that is, times a godzillion,  will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, all 100, shorts, boys, POVADs, creations, bases and beyonds.   As Mentioned In This Episode: Joy of Business book: https://www.accessconsciousness.com/en/shop-catalog/book/joy-of-business  The Business Class on Access.me: http://Access.me  Business Done Different online class with Simone: https://www.accessconsciousness.com/en/class-catalog/access-special-classes/joy-of-business/business-done-different-with-an-advanced-facilitat_639037305772025589/details  Business, Money & Profit Brazil & online class with Simone: https://www.accessconsciousness.com/en/class-catalog/access-special-classes/joy-of-business/the-business-money-and-profit-class_639026555125132189/details  El Lugar: https://ellugar.com  Joy of Business Facilitators: https://www.accessjoyofbusiness.com/facilitators  Useful Links: The Clearing Statement explained Access Consciousness Website Choice, Change & Action Podcast Instagram Follow Simone Milasas Simone's Website Simone's Instagram Simone's Facebook Simone's YouTube Simone's Telegram Simone's Contact Email  Follow Cassy Summers Cassy's Website Cassy's Instagram Cassy's Facebook Cassy's YouTube Play with Simone Milasas The Profit Club membership Getting Out of Debt Joyfully Taking Action online video course All Upcoming Classes with Simone Past Class Recordings

After Friday's news that Center for Biologics Evaluation & Research Chief Vinay Prasad will leave the FDA—again—at the end of April, stocks for several rare disease drug developers popped. UniQure, in particular, was up 51% in premarket trading on Monday. Prasad in a meeting last Thursday with select journalists called the biotech's Huntington's treatment AMT-130 a “failed” therapy, according to STAT News. Shares of Replimune and REGENXBIO—which have suffered rejections during the past year—also rose. One person who is not impressed with the plethora of rare disease drug rejections of late—H.C. Wainwright said in a note Tuesday that there have been at least five cell and gene therapies they believe could have been approved under prior FDA officials—is Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson. Tuesday, Bloomberg News reported that Johnson has launched an investigation into these recent denials.Johnson called the FDA's request that uniQure conduct a sham surgery-controlled trial of AMT-130 “bureaucratic idiocy,” according to the publication. Meanwhile, uniQure and the FDA appear to be on different pages regarding the design of this prospective trial, with uniQure Chief Medical Officer Walid Abi-Saab referring to a 10-12 hour surgery during which [burr] holes would be drilled in patients' skulls and Prasad claiming on a media call last week that it would require only “one to three nicks in the scalp.”In other news, no episode of The Weekly would be complete without our weekly weight loss segment. Roche and Zealand Pharma's amylin analog fell short of Eli Lilly's rival candidate eloralintide; AbbVie reported what analysts called “competitive” results, with its amylin analog eliciting nearly 10% weight loss at 13 weeks in a Phase 1 trial; and Regeneron touted a much-needed Phase 3 win for Hansoh-partnered dual GLP-1/GIPR agonist olatorepatide in China. Beyond data, Novo Nordisk and Hims & Hers are together again, with Novo striking a deal to sell its injectable and oral GLP-1 medicines through the telehealth provider.Elsewhere on the business side of biopharma, experts are reporting a cut-throat atmosphere behind doors on the M&A front as the supply of companies available to buy dwindles.

Are we living in a computer simulation? What once sounded like science fiction is now a serious conversation happening at the intersection of quantum physics, artificial intelligence, and the nature of consciousness. In this episode, Dr. JC Doornick sits down once again with MIT-educated computer scientist, entrepreneur, and author of The Simulation Hypothesis, Rizwan Virk. Together they explore one of the most provocative questions of our time: is reality truly fundamental—or is it more like a rendered environment generated by deeper layers of information? Rather than treating simulation theory as sensational speculation, Riz brings a disciplined and thoughtful approach that bridges modern science, ancient philosophy, and emerging technology. The conversation moves beyond the basics of simulation theory into deeper territory—examining consciousness as a potential user interface for reality, the difference between living like a Player versus an NPC, and how artificial intelligence may be accelerating humanity toward what some call the “Simulation Point.” Along the way, Dr. JC introduces a fascinating perspective from quantum physics—the Higgs Field—suggesting that even the space between objects is alive with energy, a kind of hidden dancer giving matter its appearance. If everything we experience is patterned energy at different densities, what does that mean for our attempt to understand reality itself? Most importantly, the conversation tackles the question that matters most to everyday life: if this is a simulation, does our suffering, purpose, and joy still matter? Whether you're curious about simulation theory, fascinated by consciousness, or simply wondering what it means to truly be present in your own life, this episode invites you to explore the possibility that reality may be far stranger—and more meaningful—than we ever imagined.   Connect with Rizwan Virk: Website - / https://www.zenentrepreneur.com  IG - / @RIZCAMBRIDGE X - / @RIZSTAMFORD   Dr. JC Doornick Links: Website - www.makessensebook.com YT -    / @drjcdoornick IG -   / @drjcdoornick FB -   / @makessensepodcast Makes Sense Book - https://tinyurl.com/makessensepurchase MAKES SENSE PODCAST Welcome to the Makes Sense with Dr. JC Doornick Podcast. We love a good “never quit” mantra. Hustle. Grind. Push through. Stay committed. But what if the bravest move isn't doubling down… it's pivoting? In this episode of This Is Woman's Work, Nicole Kalil sits down with Melissa Gonzalez — principal at MG2, shareholder at Collier's Engineering and Design, founder of The Lioness Group, and author of The Purpose of Pivot: How Dynamic Leaders Put Vulnerability and Intuition into Action — to unpack one of the hardest leadership and life questions: How do you know when it's time to pivot? Because staying the course can be grit… or it can be self-betrayal.And pivoting can be courage… or it can be avoidance. The line? Blurry as hell. Together, they explore how to tell the difference between fear and intuition, discomfort and misalignment, commitment and stuckness — and how to make intentional, purpose-driven decisions without blowing up your entire life (unless you actually need to). They explore: The physical and emotional signs it's time to pivot How to run an “energy audit” to see what fuels vs. drains you The difference between purposeful change and running away Why clarity about your purpose makes decisions easier How to stop letting other people's opinions drive your choices Because pivoting doesn't require certainty. A student writes in despair, convinced his spiritual struggles prove failure. The Rebbe rejects this conclusion entirely. Inner turmoil is not proof of weakness—it can be the very fuel for powerful spiritual awakening. The key, he explains, is to stop endless self-analysis and redirect energy into action: helping others grow in Torah and mitzvos, maintaining the discipline of yeshiva life, and becoming a living example for one's peers. Through this, the confusion itself becomes a catalyst for growth. PDF Link: https://www.soulwords.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/30-letters-30-days-08.pdf

President Donald Trump says the Iran conflict ends with one outcome: unconditional surrender. As U.S. forces continue striking Iranian military targets, allies argue the regime is nearing collapse. Meanwhile, some Republicans—including Lindsey Graham—are already looking ahead, suggesting the next geopolitical shift could come in Cuba. The debate also reignites criticism of the Iran policies of Barack Obama, including the controversial cash transfer tied to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. Is this moment reshaping the global order? Summary: President Donald Trump says the conflict with Iran will end only when the regime offers unconditional surrender—or loses the ability to fight altogether. After days of sustained strikes against Iranian military targets, the administration argues the goal is clear: eliminate the regime's ability to threaten the United States and its allies. Supporters of the campaign say the operation could end quickly if Iran's military command structure collapses. Critics, however, warn about the risks of escalation and rising oil prices as global markets react to the conflict. Meanwhile, political figures such as Lindsey Graham are already speculating about broader geopolitical consequences, including the possibility of political change in Cuba. Graham praised Trump's leadership and suggested global shifts could follow the weakening of U.S. adversaries. The conversation has also reignited debate over earlier U.S. policy toward Iran. Critics argue that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action negotiated during the presidency of Barack Obama helped empower the Iranian regime financially while failing to permanently stop missile development. Supporters of Trump's strategy say dismantling Iran's military capabilities could dramatically reshape global security, particularly given the range of Iran's missile systems and their potential reach across Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. Key Takeaways: Donald Trump says the Iran conflict ends with “unconditional surrender.” Some U.S. leaders, including Lindsey Graham, are already discussing future geopolitical shifts, including Cuba. Critics link the current conflict to policies from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The debate highlights deep divisions over how previous administrations handled Iran. Supporters argue the outcome could reshape global security dynamics. Topic Tags: Iran War, Trump Foreign Policy, Cuba Politics, Iran Nuclear Deal, Global Security

This sermon centers on Acts 2 and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Throughout Scripture, when God's people dedicate something to Him, His presence fills it. From Mount Sinai, to the Tabernacle, to Solomon's Temple, to the Day of Pentecost, the glory of God comes where His people seek Him.But God's glory is never an end in itself. It must always be connected to purpose.Pastor Elliott challenges the church with a critical question:What is the arc of influence of the Gospel in our generation? Are we expanding the reach of the Gospel, or shrinking back? This message calls believers to recommit themselves to the mission of Jesus Christ: evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and world missions. The glory of God must fill the house, but the Gospel must reach the nations.Chapters00:00 Offering and Giving Insights12:02 Special Music and Closing Remarks13:09 Dedication and Purpose in Ministry16:28 The Glory of God in the Church26:00 Linking Glory with Mission35:57 Furthering the Gospel's Reach46:39 A Call to Action and DedicationShow NotesALL PROCEEDS GO TO WORLD EVANGELISMLocate a CFM Church near you: https://cfmmap.orgWe need five-star reviews! OVERVIEW: In this episode, Ashley and Gabe Cox discuss the intricacies of goal planning, balancing personal and professional life, and the importance of defining one's 'why' in the pursuit of success. Gabe shares her three-part system for achieving goals: See it, Plan it, and Do it, emphasizing the need for flexibility and self-care throughout the process. The conversation highlights the challenges faced by high-achieving women and the necessity of setting boundaries to maintain mental health and well-being while striving for personal and professional goals. Takeaways It's essential to define your 'why' to stay committed to your goals. Balance looks different for everyone; it's about finding peace in your priorities. Action builds confidence; you can't gain confidence without taking steps. Planning is crucial, but be prepared for flexibility in your approach. Embrace discomfort as a sign of growth and progress. Set boundaries to protect your time and energy. Recognize that change is hard, but it's a necessary part of growth. Focus on one to three main goals to avoid overwhelm. Celebrate small victories to maintain motivation. Self-care is not a luxury; it's a necessity for sustainable success. How should we live now so that we will have no regrets later? As we look at the life of Jonathan Edwards who modeled living with integrity and eternity in view, grounded in Jesus' words from Matthew 5:37. Relying on Christ rather than self-effort, Edwards sought to be a man of his word, shaping his life, ministry, and perseverance through trial. In a time of spiritual coldness, God used his faithfulness to bring a great awakening, reminding us that when we depend on Christ, He empowers us to live truthfully and use our lives for His glory.

This week, Ivy Slater, host of Her Success Story, chats with her guest, Denise Schonwald. The two talk about Denise's journey from a three-decade career as a critical care nurse to becoming a nationally licensed mental health therapist, her innovative approach to connecting with clients by giving away her book, and her mission to bring greater education and honesty to the mental health conversation.  In this episode, we discuss: How Denise went from decades in critical care nursing, night shifts, physical strain, and high-stakes decision-making, to realizing it was time to care for people differently and transition into mental health. What helped her figure out her next chapter was asking, "What am I actually good at?" and translating skills like quick thinking, working with families, and navigating crisis into a thriving private practice. When she realized that building a practice meant becoming a business owner and marketer, not just a clinician, and how writing and giving away her first book (instead of selling it) unexpectedly became her best referral engine, reaching readers as far as South Africa, Australia, and Canada. Why her long-term vision is a national platform for telling the truth about mental health, raising real awareness, and helping a society that she sees getting "sicker and sicker," especially among younger children. How technology can feel like "junk food for the mind," fueling anxiety, depression, and procrastination, and her simple, doable starting point: one hour tech-free in the morning and keeping the cell phone out of the bedroom at night. Denise Schonwald, a registered nurse with over three decades of experience, has seamlessly transitioned from critical care nursing to a distinguished career in mental health counseling. Witnessing families cope with the emotional toll of illness during her time in the healthcare field fueled her passion for holistic healing. Based in Sarasota, Florida, Denise extends her compassionate care nationwide through virtual sessions. As a spiritually grounded mental health counselor and medical intuitive, she leads a comprehensive approach, seamlessly merging mental and physical well-being. A public speaker, spiritual teacher, and certified family mediator, Denise advocates for a harmonious integration of mind and body. Her commitment to nurturing both the body and the mind shines through in her client-centered practice, offering support to individuals, couples, families, and even our youngest thinkers - starting at age 4. Books include: Insightful Self-Therapy: Increasing Your Awareness about Mental Health and How to Live a Happier Life;  When Mom and Dad Divorced: Sam's Story, Elephants Don't Marry Giraffes, and her first children's book, Getting Back to Happy. 1. Purpose of Trey’s Law Federal legislation introduced to prohibit Non‑Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) from silencing child victims of sexual abuse. Ensures victims cannot be legally barred from speaking about their own abuse. Victims may choose confidentiality, but it cannot be forced on them. 2. The Story Behind the Law Trey was abused for years at a Missouri summer camp. As an adult, during civil litigation, he was pressured to sign an NDA, which deeply harmed his ability to heal. Trey died by suicide at age 28. His sister, Elizabeth Phillips, has become a leading national advocate, pushing to change the law so no child experiences this again. 3. Widespread Problem of NDAs in Child Abuse Cases Across the country, predators and institutions use NDAs to: Silence victims. Protect institutions from reputational damage. Delay exposure long enough for statutes of limitations to expire. Children often do not disclose abuse until decades later due to delayed disclosure, grooming, and shame. 4. Systemic Issues at Certain Institutions Kanakuk Kamps (Missouri) highlighted as a major example: Numerous allegations and confirmed cases of abuse over decades. Accusations of institutional cover‑ups, pressure on victims, and secrecy agreements. Advocacy groups maintain public databases of known or alleged abusers. Some perpetrators remained in leadership roles or were moved to other ministries. 5. Survivor Testimony Impact A 19‑year‑old survivor, Jayden Harris, spoke publicly for the first time after being protected by Missouri’s version of Trey’s Law. She described being pressured by both her abuser and her own attorney to sign an NDA. Her testimony emphasized the power shift that occurs when victims know they cannot be silenced by law. 6. Bipartisan Support Trey’s Law has broad, bipartisan backing in the U.S. Senate: Lead sponsors: Sen. Ted Cruz (R) & Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D) Additional bipartisan co‑sponsors from both parties. Strong expectation the bill will pass. 7. The Harm of Shame & Silence Shame is a powerful reason victims—especially children—do not come forward. Survivors speaking out helps: Their own healing, Other victims feel less alone, Expose predators still active. 8. Call to Action for the Public Sharing the information widely on social media to raise awareness. Calling senators and representatives to urge passage of Trey’s Law.
