Soiree conversations with myself, for others. Made with love, reflecting on anything from the world, our lives, the natural and the wonderful.
Basking and sitting in the feelings that this Eclipse has brought about in myself. Its the beginning of the end of the things that are not meant for us. Let the sand fall through your fingertips; it belongs to the Earth.
It's December 1st, so I guess that means it's time to officially accept the holiday spirit (though, I love anything and everything peppermint, and have been on that kick since after Halloween). However, with the holidays, comes a high degree of consumption, especially for holidays like Black Friday and Boxing Day, as well as Christmas gift shopping, party preparations, and whatnot. It's hard for me to not feel a little salty about all the excess and waste, as well as people buying gifts simply for the sake of buying a gift and whatnot. Yet, I think there can be ways to mitigate the environmental harm done on these holidays. Shopping locally, and supporting businesses around you is not only a more sustainable option, it can also be great for building relationships within your community.
Affirmations help, validation helps. Where are you heading and what are you doing along the way? Take some time to plot your path, and listen to the signs that are here to guide you along the way.
Are you defining your own future, or letting someone else dictate how you should be moving through your life? It's important to love yourself in the present - your future self will thank you.
Late-night reflections on harnessing creative energies, and the importance of going inwards to maximize creative potential, as well as being in the right environment.
Thrifting is cool; making a consumable ~aesthetic~ that caters to conscious living is pointless, destructive, and just feeds the problem. This is an older recording, circa Sept-Nov 2018. :) Stay tuned for fresher tracks.
