In the first episode of season two we discuss why I post on Facebook the way that I do. Then we look at passages like Deut 4:5-9, 1 Cor 3:13, and Heb 5:12-14 concerning practicing righteousness in order to discern good and evil.

The gang is joined by pastor/author C. R. Wiley to discuss elements of his work in boos like, Man of the House and The Household and the War for the Cosmos. Then the conversation shifts to the fascinating and polarizing character, Tom Bombadil from the Lord of the Rings.

The gang finishes their discussion on God’s Law. Should the Law be looked at through a common law or statutory law lens? How might this work with the example of divorce and remarriage?

The gang discusses how God’s Law has present day implications and applications for the individual and even civil society. This discussion focuses on issues of continuity and discontinuity between covenants. Ryder leads us out of part one and into part two with starting the discussion on the differences between statutory law and common law.

In our second episode, Tyler, Matt, and Ryder discuss different methods for interpreting the text of Scripture. What are the pros and cons of theological, anthropological, literary, and linguistic approaches to understanding the Bible?

In our pilot podcast we discuss the impact that COVID-19 has had on churches and the decisions pastors and leaders have to wrestle with when it seems that God has paused the corporate gatherings of his people. The Lord has seen fit to scatter his people in the past for various reasons. Is he doing that now? And has the church stopped and examined, why?
