When you are not self-aware, you are more easily controlled by outside influences. When you make the choice to embark on your own spiritual/healing journey, you are, simultaneously, making the choice to take your power back. This is the greatest gift you can give to yourself."My name is Samantha. I know, through experience, what egoic darkness feels like. So, for what reason do I have to be an optimist? What reason do I have to go about chanting all day, "raise your vibration!"? What inspires me to see the best in bad situations? Here is the most concise answer possible. I have learned that: seeing the best in everything and everyone is what leads to true happiness, true power, and true freedom.”-Samantha Leah, Thinking Out Loud Podcast (Episode 6)

FOCUS Is Your Friend: Tips For Fine-Tuning Your Vibration

As we become better at focusing our attention deliberately, we become confident and masterful creators of our reality. The episode is built around this quote from an Abraham-Hicks seminar: "We want you to come to believe that you can choose the way you feel regardless of what is surrounding you because, when you show yourself that, then you have control of everything that matters to you: you have control of your point of attraction."Your "point of attraction" is the vibration you emit in each and every NOW-moment. Today, we cover topics that help us to focus ourselves into alignment and, therefore, become very aware of the vibrational signal we are sending out into the universe.According to the Law Of Attraction, the vibrational signal we are emitting (whether positive - good feelings or negative - bad feelings) calls to it similar frequencies (through people, places, things, circumstances, etc) and THAT is how we create our reality. So, I think we can all agree, attending to our vibration (through deliberate focus) is a very important skill to strengthen. As the aforementioned Abraham-Hicks teachings always reiterate, "You have to care about the way you feel!"

Don’t Just “Know" Better... BE Better!

It’s time for those of us who are spiritually advanced to fine-tune our vibration and become aware of the subtle tricks of the ego.Part 1:For instance, when we are in an experience of ‘road rage,’ many of us deem our behavior as "acceptable" and make very sound arguments for our negative—and often times over-exaggerated—reactions.“Well, he cut me off and he could have killed me!”“It’s ridiculous!”“I can’t stand the way these people drive!”Now, I am no stranger to experiences such as road rage, but, lately, I am really noticing the cleverness of the ego when it comes to these types of situations. The ego mind has a way of tricking us to believe that our reactions are justified. But, the truth is, as long as we are a slave to our reactory mind, we are not in control of our vibration. And, as we know by now, the frequency of our vibration is what should matter most to us at all times, as the frequency we are tapped into in this NOW-moment is the SOLE determining factor of how we are perceiving the world in this NOW-moment.Part 2:We talk about how important it is to remain true to our authentic selves. How often do you say “yes” to a dinner date with a friend, even if you do not feel like going? Have you ever taken a moment to ask yourself why you do this? In this section, we talk about how and why it is so important to listen to our inner guidance. It is time for us to nit-pickingly analyze the choices we make, as seemingly small choices (i.e. going out when you would prefer not to) are actually covering up huge patterns (i.e. the tendency to care more about another person’s well-being than your own) that hinder us from reaching our potential.

Our Personal Thoughts Affect The Entire Collective Consciousness

We have to start taking accountability for the negative thoughts we frequently indulge in. Why? Well, not only are these low vibrating thoughts manifesting negative experiences in our personal lives, but they also seep into the collective energy. When negative thoughts among billions of humans accumulate, they manifest into negative events on a larger, global scale. It is time for us to put an end to this vicious cycle and take responsibility for the frequency we are emitting, not only for our own personal life, but for the greater good of all beings on our planet and the universe at large. The major takeaway: There is no such thing as a thought kept secret!
