In Part 2 with artist and ex-Mormon creator Shelise Ann Sola, we pick up with what happens after you walk away from the LDS Church: family fallout, reclaiming your body and sexuality from modesty/purity culture, and learning how to trust your own inner authority instead of a prophet, bishop, or priesthood holder. Shelise talks about healing religious trauma, unpacking scrupulosity and intrusive fears about hell and worthiness, and the messy, funny, and sometimes dark reality of building a new life, new boundaries, and new beliefs in the “post-Mormon” wilderness. We also get into her online work: TikTok, podcasts, art, and ex-Mormon memes as a form of grief processing and community-building, why Mormonism and other high-demand religions can feel a little bit culty, and what's actually helped her feel safe, connected, and spiritually grounded on the other side.Be sure to follow Shelise's podcast, Cults to Consciousness, on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and Shelise at sheliseannsola.com and on Instagram @sheliseann.Also…let it be known that:The views and opinions expressed on A Little Bit Culty do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the podcast. What if manifestation isn't about thinking positive thoughts, but about what your nervous system is actually broadcasting to the universe? In this solo reflection, Will dives deep into the misunderstood idea of the “feel-good frequency”, not as spiritual bypassing, but as a practical intersection of consciousness, emotional healing, and real-world tools that support authentic spiritual awakening. Inspired by Rhonda Byrne's Countdown to Riches, this episode challenges a common trap in modern spirituality: trying to meditate your way out of unresolved emotional wounds. Instead, Will makes a grounded, sometimes uncomfortable case for why energy healing must be paired with 3D inner work, including therapy, shadow work, and emotional processing, if manifestation is ever going to stick. You'll explore:Why consciousness responds to emotion, not intentionHow suppressed experiences quietly block spiritual growth and abundanceThe difference between raising your frequency and avoiding your painWhy spiritual teachers increasingly emphasize integration over transcendenceSimple, immediate tools to shift your emotional state when life feels heavyHow genuine healing opens the door to intuition development and aligned actionThis episode is especially for seekers who love modern spirituality, but refuse to abandon logic, self-responsibility, or psychological truth in the process. If you've ever wondered why manifestation “works for everyone else,” or why your spiritual growth feels stalled despite doing all the right practices, this conversation offers a grounded, compassionate—and very real—answer.Subscribe, Rate & Review! What if reality doesn't fully exist unless you're paying attention to it? In this episode of The Box of Oddities, Kat and Jethro tumble headfirst into some of the strangest intersections of consciousness, physics, philosophy, and fatal laughter. We explore the unsettling ideas of nuclear physicist Thomas Campbell, whose “My Big TOE (Theory of Everything)” proposes that reality itself may function more like a simulation—rendered only when observed, driven not by matter, but by consciousness itself. Is the universe a data stream? Are we avatars logged into a system designed to test our choices? And if so… who's running the server? From the science-backed work at the Monroe Institute to concepts like entropy, intent, and consciousness as the fundamental building block of existence, this episode breaks down Campbell's mind-bending claims in clear, conversational terms—without robes, chanting, or cosmic fluff. Then, just when things couldn't get stranger, we pivot to a surprisingly lethal topic: can laughter actually kill you? From ancient Stoic philosopher Chrysippus allegedly laughing himself to death over a fig-eating donkey, to documented modern cases involving heart conditions triggered by uncontrollable laughter, we trace the real medical risks behind “dying laughing.” Along the way, we examine historical reports, modern diagnoses like Long QT syndrome, and why comedy may be safer in moderation (or at least while seated). Plus, we serve up a classic Thing in the Middle featuring some of the world's most delightfully pointless “capitals,” including hubcaps, snowshoe baseball, lost luggage, jump rope, and barbed wire. It's an episode that asks big questions, delivers strange truths, and reminds us that no matter how serious philosophy gets, sometimes a donkey can still take you out. If you enjoy thought-provoking mysteries, odd history, consciousness theories, dark humor, and the weird edges of science—this one's for you. Learn more about your ad choices. Turn meditation from something you do into something you live. Sign up for Michael's 5-week course, "Meditation 2.0: The Evolution of Consciousness," starting January 20th: https://agapemasterclass.com/meditation-2-0/. As a new year dawns, Michael invites you to move beyond resolutions into intentional living—shifting from force to frequency, cultivating curiosity over willpower, and aligning with the field of infinite possibilities already within you! Today's show blends clear practices—reviewing the year, decluttering to create space, redefining prosperity, and the powerful tools of Life VisioningTM—culminating in a guided meditation to "wake up to your glorious nature" and carry peace, gratitude, and luminosity into 2026. Highlights Include: Framing intention as alignment with your next great vision and version (not self-fixing resolutions) Setting assumptions that your good is already within and let alignment, not pressure, unfold it Life shifts by frequency, not through force—willingness raises vibration and opens the way Asking yourself: "What's emerging?" "What does self-love/prosperity/health feel like?" Then act from that feeling Avoiding the vision-less "leaf on the wind;" community with intention lifts your frequency Stop sourcing your identity from consumer culture; align with infinite possibilities within True Prosperity = all needs met and contribution; begin with the qualities of love, peace, creativity, etc. first Review the year and release draining habits and stuff. Decluttering = liberation, not loss Catch your true vision and re-author old narratives; the miracle is the inner shift Next, Michael leads a guided meditation on establishing intentions, feeling your wholeness now, and radiating luminosity into your day. ✍️Love Take Back Your Mind? Ryan and Alex explore humanity's shift into a new age, one in which consciousness and technology reach a new pinnacle. They discuss ancient prophecies, mystery schools, and religious traditions that point to a future moment when the spiritual world begins to intersect with the physical realm. They also examine long-standing prophecies connected to the pyramids and the Sphinx, and what these ancient symbols may reveal about humanity's evolving consciousness and collective future.
What if the stress, fear, and autopilot living so many of us experience isn't “just life”… but a kind of invisible matrix we've been conditioned to accept? In this episode of The Skeptic Metaphysicians, Will and Karen sit down with former attorney turned spiritual teacher Casey Berman, who walked away from a high-powered legal career after a profound awakening forced him to question success, identity, and what it actually means to live with consciousness and intention. Rather than preaching escape fantasies or spiritual bypassing, Casey delivers a grounded, pragmatic approach to spiritual awakening and spiritual growth; one rooted in awareness, personal responsibility, and small, actionable steps. He shares how fear, societal conditioning, and identity traps keep us disconnected from our true nature, and how reconnecting with presence can quietly transform everything from career choices to parenting. This conversation explores:How awakening often begins with subtle moments, not dramatic near-death experiencesWhy fear and anxiety are powerful signals, not personal failuresThe role of consciousness in dismantling stress, burnout, and misalignmentHow intuition development happens naturally when we unplug from constant noiseWhy soul purpose isn't found, it's rememberedThe difference between “escaping the matrix” and learning from itYou'll also hear why Casey believes modern spirituality must be practical to be sustainable, and how awareness alone can be a form of energy healing without ever calling it that. If you've felt disconnected, uninspired, or quietly questioning the life you're living, this episode offers a grounded reminder: awakening doesn't require abandoning your world...it begins by seeing it clearly. Key Topics DiscussedSpiritual awakening without spiritual theatricsConsciousness as a tool for everyday lifeFear, stress, and societal conditioningIntuition development through awarenessParenting after awakeningSoul purpose vs. external successLiving fully present in a distracted worldWhy This Episode Matters This is not a conversation about “escaping reality.” It's about waking up inside it, and learning how to live with clarity, intention, and agency in a world designed to keep you distracted. If you've been sensing there's more, without wanting to abandon logic, responsibility, or common sense, this episode meets you exactly where you are.Subscribe, Rate & Review! You're listening to Right On Radio. Live right in the real world. And welcome, everyone, to the Wednesday edition Podbean Live. Glad you could be here for those of you who are here live. Welcome to those of you who are listening to the replay of the show. Jeff opens with the Word on Word segment, comparing Ephesians 1:2 and 1 Corinthians 10:31 and reflecting on the high calling to walk in love and glorify God in everyday life. Guest John Brisson (We've Read the Documents) joins Jeff to unpack a wide-ranging show: a featured clip from Greg Reese about Promethean ideas and Robert Anton Wilson's Eight-Circuit Model of Consciousness leads to a deeper theological critique. They examine Promethean Action (Helga Zepp-LaRouche) and the modern “false great awakening,” discussing Discordianism, Luciferian/Promethean myth-making, transhumanism, and how research and historical reporting can be useful yet spiritually misleading. The conversation moves into geopolitics: an exchange about Greenland, NATO bases and leverage, the possibility of U.S. strategic moves (leases, purchases or greater control), and what that could mean for global alliances. Jeff and John discuss recent developments around Venezuela — the Maduro operation, legal fallout, and tactical implications — and how these events feed narratives about a realignment of power between the Americas, Russia, and China. Domestic politics and media are also front and center. They react to Dan Bongino's return to radio and its PR framing, the role of influencers and platform investments (Rumble, Parler), and the fractures within MAGA: rival camps, personalities, and the risk of celebrity-led movements drifting from sound doctrine. Jeff warns about the rise of Christian nationalism, Seven Mountains Dominionism, and the merging of reformed/Catholic voices with hardline political actors. Other topics touched on: Tucker Carlson's interview dynamics (and Mike Cernovich's positioning), concerns about good vs. ‘false' imperialism, the amplification of confirmation bias (including AI's role), and seismic or volcanic worries in the Pacific Northwest as part of broader anxiety about the year ahead. The episode closes with pastoral exhortation — a reminder to love God first, love neighbors sacrificially, and a reminder about a prayer call on Telegram — plus teasers for upcoming streams and guests. Expect a candid mix of Bible reflection, media and ideological critique, geopolitical analysis, and practical spiritual counsel — a show for listeners who want both cultural reporting and a gospel-centered response to the confusion of our times. It's become increasingly clear that the Turing Test -- determining whether human interlocutors can tell whether a conversation is being carried out by a human or a machine -- is not a good way to think about consciousness. Modern LLMs can mimic human conversation with extraordinary verisimilitude, but most people would not judge them to be conscious. What would it take? Is it even possible for a computer program to achieve consciousness, or must consciousness be fundamentally "meat-based"? Philosopher Ned Block has long argued that consciousness involves something more than simply the "functional" aspects of inputs and outputs.Blog post with transcript: https://www.preposterousuniverse.com/podcast/2026/01/05/339-ned-block-on-whether-consciousness-requires-biology/Support Mindscape on Patreon.Ned Block received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Harvard University. In the first part of our conversation, artist, podcaster, and former Mormon Shelise Ann Sola joins us to talk about growing up in a devout Latter-day Saint (LDS) family. She internalized “perfect girl” expectations and slowly deconstructed the high-demand beliefs that shaped her identity and relationships. Shelise shares how modesty culture, purity messaging, temple worthiness interviews, and the LDS obsession with eternal marriage impacted her mental health, sexuality, and sense of self, and how leaving the church meant losing community, certainty, and family approval all at once. We also got into her creative life after Mormonism, why she started talking publicly about high-control religion and religious trauma, and how she now uses humor, art, and storytelling to help other ex-Mormons and faith-questioners feel less alone while they untangle what was spiritual from what was spiritual abuse.Follow Shelise's podcast, Cults to Consciousness, on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and Shelise at sheliseannsola.com and on Instagram @sheliseann.Also…let it be known that:The views and opinions expressed on A Little Bit Culty do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the podcast. Are events in life symbolic, or are they simply expressive moments within a vast, intelligent universe? We humans love to make meaning of things, especially unusual events or mysterious dreams. To believe is to leave space for it not being true.To have faith is to know with certainty. Most people think they're the same. They're not. You've been told who you are since childhood. People influenced your memory, gave you knowledge, created experiences. You absorbed it like a sponge. But what if you're living from a foundation of lies you never questioned? Like a plant without sunlight, soil, or water—positioned poorly from the start. Belief says "I hope this is true." Faith says "I know, irrevocably, even in the darkest moments."There was a blind child who could read his mother's thoughts. Every time she needed a utensil, he was there holding it before she asked. Of course it's the child with the most limitations who has miraculous power. You have to realize what your power is—but only by questioning what you've blindly accepted. This episode reveals why you must be skeptical about who you've been told you are, the power of journaling and asking "why," and how to tear up the paper of your old priorities. Shower at 7:30, lights off at 8—not Netflix at 9. Your rushing reveals you haven't accepted what needs to happen. These past few weeks, we've been discussing some slightly more esoteric ideas including the ethos and strategy around Vāmācāra, the often misunderstood and misrepresented "left-hand path" of Tantra. Since it's the Gregorian new year, and since we're just about to roll out some Vāmācāra stuff in both practice and theory, in the light of Śrī Ramakrishna I thought it'd be good to start with this discussion from the Kāmakalā Vilāsa, an important Sri Vidya text in which we learn the bīja mantra which is, arguably, the foundational bīja for all śakti vidyās. We both present the bija as well as some exegesis on how it represents the entire universe, which is entirely reflected non-differently in the mirror of Consciousness, which is my very own Self, all for the sake of play. You'll find all of our other lectures on Vāmācāra here, in this rapidly growing playlist! Happy Gregorian New Year! What if your attitude is not just a mood but a biological instruction set? We take a bold tour through the Gene Keys, the system that links the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching to the 64 codons of DNA and frames your inner state as a frequency that tunes gene expression. Instead of forcing change, we look at how contemplation lifts you from shadow to gift to siddhi, with concrete examples like Gene Key 25's journey from constriction to universal love and Gene Key 46's shift from seriousness to delight and ecstasy. Along the way, we show how common patterns—like inadequacy morphing into control—can be transmuted into resourcefulness and genuine strength. We also zoom out to the sweeping forecast around the 55th Gene Key, where victimization gives way to freedom at both human and societal scales. The sources point to a species-level transition from cranial thinking to solar plexus awareness between 2012 and 2027, suggesting a new baseline of emotional intelligence and coherence. That change carries dramatic implications: moving beyond hierarchy and heterarchy into synarchy, where coordinated collective intelligence operates as one, and even hinting that scarcity mechanisms like money may lose their hold as unconditional giving becomes normal.Beyond the grand claims, we ground the practice: use your hologenetic profile to identify the keys that map your purpose, relationships, and prosperity; meet shadows with soft attention; and let frequency do the heavy lifting. We close with a paradox from the 61st and 63rd keys: the deepest truth arrives when we stop forcing answers and relax into inquiry. Listen, reflect, and test the ideas in your own life. Welcome to 2026, brothers. This episode is a return to the foundations. A reset. A reorientation to what this work has always been about. As we move into a new year, it's easy to get pulled toward advanced concepts, elevated language, and high-level spiritual ideas. But real mastery doesn't begin at the top. It begins at the beginning. And in this episode, we go back to the core principles of cognitive mastery, awakening, and the Alpha State. At the heart of this conversation is a simple but profound framework: the three worlds. The outer world, the inner world, and the energetic world. The outer world is the physical world. It's the world we all share. Bodies, money, relationships, environments, circumstances, results. It is neutral. It is dense. It is obvious. Science understands this world well because it is observable and measurable. The inner world is the mental world. Your thoughts. Your feelings. Your narratives. Your conditioning. This world is private. No one has access to it but you. And yet, this inner world is the cause of how you experience the outer world. Your thoughts generate feelings. Feelings drive actions. Actions create results. And those results reinforce the thoughts. This is the universal truth. This is the Model of Alignment. The energetic world is the most subtle of all. It's your aura. Your spiritual blueprint. The field you move through and leave behind as you interact with people, places, money, opportunity, and life itself. Most men have very little conscious access to this layer, not because it isn't real, but because it is quiet. Subtle. Working behind the scenes. In this episode, I explain how all three of these worlds are happening simultaneously. They are not separate. They are integrated into one unified human experience. And above all three is the Alpha State. The watcher. Consciousness itself. The unified awareness that sees all three worlds clearly without being trapped inside any of them. This is where awakening begins. Not by becoming something new. Not by self-improvement or self-judgment. But by remembering what you've always been. The first step in this process is kindergarten-level simple and lifelong profound: separating thoughts from facts. Over and over again. Until it becomes second nature. Until you can clearly see the difference between the neutral outer world and the stories you're running about it.This is why the Brotherhood exists. It is the entry point. The foundation. The place where men begin the awakening process by mastering the basics: buffering, relationships, money mindset, and the Model of Alignment. This is where you learn to see the program you've been running and consciously choose a new one.In this episode, I also introduce what's coming in 2026, including deeper work inside the Academy and my own Impossible Goal for the year, which I'll be updating throughout the podcast as it unfolds. This episode is an invitation. An invitation to remember who you are.An invitation to step into the Alpha State. An invitation to begin again—properly, deliberately, and consciously.Welcome to 2026, brothers.Elevate your Alpha.
Longtime friends David Silver and Raghu Markus discuss Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and the legacy of Dzogchen maintained by his four sons.Grab a copy of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche's memoirs, Blazing Splendor, for a deeper look into his magnificent life. This time on Mindrolling, Raghu and David have a discussion about:The life and teachings of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, one of the greatest Dzogchen meditation masters of the 20th centuryTulku Urgyen Rinpoche's sons and how they continue to spread Dzogchen wisdom to the WestCore principles of Dzogchen philosophy, including the nature of mind and nondual awarenessUnderstanding cognitive emptiness and the illusion of a solid identityWhy contemplating death and impermanence can be a path to liberationWorking consciously with loss and mortality before the end of lifeNot falling into the trap of believing this life is permanentViewing dreams and meditation as parallel practices for awakeningThe patience and discipline required to form new spiritual habitsLiving fully while recognizing the inevitability of deathLearn about dealing with the bardo of dying in the book In Love with the World by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche or hop into The Bardo Guidebook by Chokyi Nyima RinpocheAbout David Silver:David Silver is the former co-host of the Mindrolling podcast. He is a filmmaker and director, most recently coming out with Brilliant Disguise. Brilliant Disguise tells the unique story of a group of inspired Western spiritual seekers from the 60s, who in meeting the great American teacher, Ram Dass, followed him to India to meet his Guru, Neem Karoli Baba, familiarly known as Maharaj-ji. Two days before he left his body, Maharaj-ji instructed K.C. Tewari to take care of the Westerners, which he did resolutely until the day he died in 1997. Silver's #1 charting MGM/UA/Warners film, “The Compleat Beatles” is the critically acclaimed biopic movie about history's most famous band. The term ‘rockumentary' was first applied to this two-hour movie. Rolling Stone recently described the film as a “masterwork.” Silver's Warner Brothers' feature film, “No Nukes” also started the whole trend of music/activism feature documentaries. “Urgyen and his sons and all Dzogchen people believe that dreaming is as important as meditating. Dreams are fluid, anything can happen in a dream. You can fly, you can walk through a wall. What Mingyur says is that is the perfect analogy for life itself; life is as fluid and as transparent as that dream, but we don't know it because we think it's solid because we can't put our finger through our hand.” –David SilverSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom podcast, host Stewart Alsop interviews Marcin Dymczyk, CPO and co-founder of SevenSense Robotics, exploring the fascinating world of advanced robotics and AI. Their conversation covers the evolution from traditional "standard" robotics with predetermined pathways to advanced robotics that incorporates perception, reasoning, and adaptability - essentially the AGI of physical robotics. Dymczyk explains how his company builds "the eyes and brains of mobile robots" using camera-based autonomy algorithms, drawing parallels between robot sensing systems and human vision, inner ear balance, and proprioception. The discussion ranges from the technical challenges of sensor fusion and world models to broader topics including robotics regulation across different countries, the role of federalism in innovation, and how recent geopolitical changes are driving localized high-tech development, particularly in defense applications. They also touch on the democratization of robotics for small businesses and the philosophical implications of increasingly sophisticated AI systems operating in physical environments. Advanced robotics transcends traditional programming through perception and intelligence. Dymczyk distinguishes between standard robotics that follows rigid, predefined pathways and advanced robotics that incorporates perception and reasoning. This evolution enables robots to make autonomous decisions about navigation and task execution, similar to how humans adapt to unexpected situations rather than following predetermined scripts.2. Camera-based sensing systems mirror human biological navigation. SevenSense Robotics builds "eyes and brains" for mobile robots using multiple cameras (up to eight), IMUs (accelerometers/gyroscopes), and wheel encoders that parallel human vision, inner ear balance, and proprioception. This redundant sensing approach allows robots to navigate even when one system fails, such as operating in dark environments where visual sensors are compromised.3. Edge computing dominates industrial robotics due to connectivity and security constraints. Many industrial applications operate in environments with poor connectivity (like underground grocery stores) or require on-premise solutions for confidentiality. This necessitates powerful local processing capabilities rather than cloud-dependent AI, particularly in automotive factories where data security about new models is paramount.4. Safety regulations create mandatory "kill switches" that bypass AI decision-making. European and US regulatory bodies require deterministic safety systems that can instantly stop robots regardless of AI reasoning. These systems operate like human reflexes, providing immediate responses to obstacles while the main AI brain handles complex navigation and planning tasks.5. Modern robotics development benefits from increasingly affordable optical sensors. The democratization of 3D cameras, laser range finders, and miniature range measurement chips (costing just a few dollars from distributors like DigiKey) enables rapid prototyping and innovation that was previously limited to well-funded research institutions.6. Geopolitical shifts are driving localized high-tech development, particularly in defense applications. The changing role of US global leadership and lessons from Ukraine's drone warfare are motivating countries like Poland to develop indigenous robotics capabilities. Small engineering teams can now create battlefield-effective technology using consumer drones equipped with advanced sensors.7. The future of robotics lies in natural language programming for non-experts. Dymczyk envisions a transformation where small business owners can instruct robots using conversational language rather than complex programming, similar to how AI coding assistants now enable non-programmers to build applications through natural language prompts.
