What's up, this is Two Peas in a Pod! Welcome to our outlet where we talk about anything and everything through the perspective of two teen best friends :p Are we qualified? nope, but that's where things get interesting.
Hey Guys, so we didn't mean to go on such a big break (life as usual) but since we were nearing the 1 year mark of covid, Kelly wanted to reflect on the year and what it meant to her and also what it has taught her. This is also groggy voiced Kelly so if you can't understand her... sorry :p
Hey guys!! We wanted to start off by saying Happy Halloween!!!! In today's ep, we talked about DIYing our costumes this year, the bittersweet ending of Unus Annus, and somehow that turned into us talking about how in life, it's ok to deviate from the "normal" path society expects us to take. So sit back and relax, or take a sip of coffee and get to the chores you've been putting aside and let's talk while you unwind/get your life together ;)
Hey guys! Not only is it finally spooky season, but Kelly and I actually got to record together! In today's podcast we talked about Halloween memories from failed costumes to paranormal experiences. Hope you enjoy ^,..,^
This was a mess of things, but for the most part, might still be on topic for some people. It's been a while since we've been on here, but it feels nice to be talking again :) hope you all enjoy :)
Hey guys, Aleena here! Sadly Summer vacation has ended and with that comes the new school year. After failing to record this ep 5 times, I was finally able to talk about it the 6th time. Care to kill time and listen??
Heloo, everyone. I'm coming back with another solo-segment this week, and in today's podcast episode I talk about my personal relationship and experiences with both makeup and fashion. This was really fun to record and I'm really glad I got to share with you all what makeup and clothing/fashion means to me :) Hope you enjoyed this solo-segment ep, and stay tuned for more :)
To be honest, when it comes to talking about myself, I really don't know what to say. It's kinda like when you have to write a bio on social media and somehow you've became a stranger to yourself.. after thinking about what to talk about I've come to the conclusion—for the 70th time—that there isn't really much to me. Thankfully, I have writing—something I'm passionate about and can talk about for 29 minutes and 10 seconds :D
Believe it or not, Aleena and I have had our fair share with online video games we've played on the computer. No, we don't play the current Nintendo Switch or Fortnite or such, but we do have Roblox, Club Penguin, Wizard 101, and more. We weren't hardcore gamers, but we have had fun with these games at the time and talking about them in today's ep made for a lot of good nostalgia.
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another podcast ep :) So for today's episode, we wanted to talk about something semi-random which was what would be some skills or things we find interesting and think about how cool it would be to do them, but we know in reality we won't. There were also some things we would be willing to try if we had the opportunity or chance, but we just quite haven't gotten to them yet. Hope you enjoy the episode and if you like it, stay tuned for more :)
Today we had our very good friends Angie and Esther on the podcast for the first time! We've mentioned them from time to time, but now we had the opportunity to have them on our podcast! In this episode, we talk about our hairstyle stories (mostly the bad) and weird usernames we've had on our socials. It's a lot of jumble, but nonetheless, enjoy!
Aleena and I have always been pretty mature for our age since we were young, so what's it like having the mentality of a teenager when you've always had an "older" mindset? Basically it's a mental breakdown and identity crisis, BUT, there are good things that stem from these pains and realizations. Join us as Aleena and I dive into the topic more personally and Aleena goes off about Twilight for 20 minutes bc she can.
NOTE: i state some infomration about coronavirus and government response in America, but note I am not an expert or trusted source, so I would go to a trusted source for more accurate information. (there's a reason why I sound so unconfident bc I'm not sure lol) Today, I talk about my life before and currently with a raging pandemic occurring and kinda how I'm doing and how my feelings have changed before and now.
This was a random bunch of things that don't correlate with one another, but nonetheless, hope you guys enjoy :)
Last week Kelly and I talked about the toxicity of cancel culture among celebrities and youtubers. On that podcast we talked a bit about the drama of youtube's beauty world, but as we prefaced then, we didn't know enough about all of that to really form an opinion on it. So, I decided to try and watch a few videos but instead, I somehow ended up learning more about Shane Dawson's past rather than the drama of the beauty world. Welcome to my first solo episode where I ramble about how Shane Dawson should be deplatformed.
in today's episode, aleena and I come together for yet another discussion. We talk about the toxicity of cancel culture among celebrities and youtubers. And then somehow we managed to get into feminism and the topic of black lives as well as all lives matter and the differences of opinions and viewpoints on both sides. and ofc i had to talk about bts -aleena :)
Heyo everyone, Kelly here. So here is the first episode of my personal segment, Geeking Out w/ Kelly. It's me straight-talking about Hamilton for over 20 minutes straight, or geeking out rather (I know, real clever). But this week it's my turn and the next will be Aleena's so, I hope you enjoy the listen
we told you we like to ramble and talk - and now you'll see how we get to point A to point B in 30 minutes :)
plz don't be mean (we are trying) also, we referred to never have i ever as a movie although it’s a show, we planned what topics we were going to talk about before hand so we mixed it up, sorry about that :/ we look forward to improving our podcast and growing with you :)
