There are 7 billion people in the world, and we want to share the stories of people we know and love! We have the privilege of interviewing our friends in Hong Kong, with diverse experiences from around the world, and want to share their stories with you
We’ve been reflecting so much on our last episode and it’s had us thinking, “Why do we transition the way that we do?”
Life after graduation can feel like a whirlwind of emotions and transitions. Entering adulthood with no supervision for the “first” time in life can be scary! In this episode, we had the opportunity to record with Justice and reflect on her 4 years since graduating. She covers everything from changing industries, to finding new hobbies, moving to a new city and how she’s grown from the person she used to be. Together we discuss some of the things she wished she had known before entering the world of adulthood. It's our first long distance podcast and we had so much fun meeting with people from all around the world!!!
In this episode, we hear a story of triumph over hardship and the courage it takes in order to survive. Gloria shares with us the story of her father as he escaped from Cambodia, fleeing genocide and seeking refuge in France. “In those times, you don’t think. Your basic human instinct for survival takes over.” We are so in awe of this story and are humbled by the generations before us -- today we honor you!!
We made it to our 2nd episode! Together, we break down what it’s been like starting a podcast with ZERO experience and our heart behind creating Unlikely Neighbors.
