The Scriptures // Chronicles by Westside Youth

Our desire in this series to help students see their sexuality through the lens of the Kingdom of God, and be able to engage humbly, thoughtfully, and lovingly with the world and culture around them. This week, we hear from Steph Bargen about how Jesus has transformed the way she views her own sexuality and how grace met her in the midst of pain and brokenness.

In this teaching, we'll look at how we, as Spirit-empowered Youth living in Vancouver in 2019, respond when friends, family members, co-workers, or teammates ask us, "Do you think homosexuality is a sin?" We'll look at the life and teachings of Jesus to see how we should respond and see how the compassion and conviction of Jesus leads to life abundant.

We are in a year long teaching series called The Scriptures where we're looking at the story of the Bible and learning how it all points us to Jesus.
