When You Were Young

Chelsea and Dan welcome their first WYWY guest, good friend and Philadelphia native Jim Adair. Jim's Philly roots go back centuries, so they had plenty of ancestral-related things to discuss. He also talked about the adjustment of moving to Delaware County (a place that Dan has a fascination with), grappling with a Catholic school education, and growing up with depression. Chelsea and Dan also realize they are talking to a three-time paper airplane flying champion.

Chelsea and Dan sit down to talk all things music from their childhood: first albums, first concerts, memorable music videos, radio stations, and hometown bands. They each share a funny story of meeting a famous musician, and discuss the wild west that was the downloading era of music. Amidst their self-isolation from COVID-19, Chelsea and Dan sit down and dig deep into Chelsea's upbringing. Then she illustrates the roundabout way she met her best friend, her god-awful screen name, and recalls the agony of having a crush on the second chair cellist.
