The absolute greatest gift we can each other is holding sacred space for each other. We need to change the way we have conversations. We need to listen, truly listen, deeply without judgments, and without waiting to reply, without waiting to add our experience or expertise. This is a practice to hold space for other people in the conversation. It's powerful. It's beautiful, and it gives the person you're holding space to be vulnerable, be real and feel truly heard. In short, a gift.

Why Adventure (not self care) is Important for Moms

I might be a little biased but I believe adventure gives us the tools to wipe the taste of life + caregiving off us, emotionally, spiritually and physically. In this episode, I talk to you about my #1 self care practice - taking adventures - big and small for my wellbeing. I reflect back on my epic 4 week adventure and all the personal development and reflection that happened along the way. As caregivers, the finder of all the things, moms carry an immense load. Under all that load, we have to keep finding ways to come back to the core of who we are, a way to process our emotions, and give ourselves the space we need to be free. Adventure is up for this job. Take to the trail with me - and see how it can impact your mental, physical and spiritual personal development through sharing my stories.
