Last week, we spoke to Arnulfo Hinojosa, vice president of the Federation of Employees & Workers of America (FEWA), and Jarrod Sharp, general counsel at FEWA, about the H-2B issue. Since that time, the Department of Labor (DOL) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a statement saying they are working to issue a joint Interim Final Rule (IFR), which would update the 2008 processing rules by April 30, 2015. They also announced they are trying to determine whether processing can continue during the period of time before an Interim Final Rule.In this episode, Jody Shilan and Gail Woolcott discuss recent updates regarding the DOL and UCSIS's decision to temporarily suspend the H-2B guest worker program.
