Op Peuterspeelzaal de Gornet stond het speeltoestel op het schoolplein al enige tijd op de lijst voor vervanging, nadat het afgekeurd werd. Helaas ontbrak het aan financiële middelen om een nieuw speeltoestel aan te schaffen. De ouderraad van de Gornet liet het hier niet bij zitten. Door de krachten te bundelen en een beroep te doen op de solidariteit van lokale ondernemers op Goeree-Overflakkee, werd een oplossing gevonden: een nieuw speeltoestel kon uiteindelijk worden gerealiseerd. Verslaggever Danny Rijkels ging langs bij de opening van het nieuwe speeltoestel en sprak met de betrokkenen.
