Comedians Casey Judson and Jason McBride make conversation and probably enemies
This podcast was doomed, like me. Robert De Niro, The doppelganger from Doppel-town, Delaware stops by to discuss his hometown, cooking, and his "all punchline" approach to comedy. This podcast ended far from where it began, with little substance or gentleness, and PLENTY of big big laughs (that never changed). Its hot down here in hell. Jason and Casey end on a touching, wise moment of agreement, and we roll the credits. Thanks for being on Robbie Schroeder! Wrong, once again. Silencio.
Former Andrew and current Jay (or JEW, if you've seen his high scores on Seattle pinball machines) reveals how he kicked comedy, veganism and spergdom to become the he-man massage therapist he is today. There were chuckles aplenty at the Wrong Again! ranch when Jay swung by, and it definitely had nothing to do with micro-dosing! WRONG AGAIN!
Casey Judson, Jason McBride and Seattle comic Will Diercks have a sensational talk about Louis CK's latest scandal from his 50 minutes at a Long Island comedy club (definitely NOT run by the Mafia). Casey thinks it’s genius and wants to suck Louis’ dick. Jason IS a genius, sees technical flaws and wants Louis to suck Casey's dick. Will thinks it’s so offensive that its boring, and wants to suck his own dick (as long as it is dipped in vodka)! Happy New Year! Enjoy the talk. Wrong Again! - Casey and Jason
Our conversation with Seattle comic/future lawyer Laura Lyons takes a turn into the dark realm of male/female relations. Maybe we should have stuck with lighter topics, like suicide! - Jason McBride Nothing rings in the Hollidays like an intense conversation about getting off child molesters (pun intended), and RAPE! It was an often funny, occasionally contentious, but ultimately very interesting talk. Thanks, Laura. - Casey Judson
Up-and-coming New York comic Hans Kim returns to his Pacific Northwest roots to talk with Casey and Jason. He might have also done a few gigs here in Seattle, but in his heart of hearts, being the first guest comedian on Wrong Again! was his true passion. We talk scene politics, Casey's insecurities, and the power of feminism and minivan living. Ch-ch-check it out-- and follow Hans @HansKimComedy ! WRONG AGAIN!
Jason & Casey delve into Dave Attell & Jeff Ross's new and already-classic Netflix series, "Bumping Mics." We do a little roastin', talk a little hostin', and take a break to eat pizza that got everyone sick- wait, was I supposed to say that?
Jason and Casey talk about the 1976 masterpiece, "Taxi Driver" "The metaphor hit me for Taxi Driver, and I realized that was the metaphor I had been looking for: the man who will take anybody any place for money; the man who moves through the city like a rat through the sewer; the man who is constantly surrounded by people, yet has no friends. The absolute symbol of urban loneliness. That’s the thing I’d been living; that was my symbol, my metaphor. The film is about a car as the symbol of urban loneliness, a metal coffin." - Paul Schrader: Taxi Driver screenwriter, and notorious Bon Vivant!
***Treyger Warning*** (You'll have to listen to get that one!) Netflix has made comedy fun again with its new (ok, we're a little behind) stand-up series, "The Degenerates." Armchair dirtbags Casey & Jason (*dirtbags if you ignore the peppermint tea and orthopedic cushions) rate the performances on relative squalor and start a new church devoted to the worship of Joey Diaz. Hail Coco!
First we got Putin. Is Kanye West Trump's RASputin? Yeah, that's a history reference! Dust off your textbooks- or just Google it. Also, more stuff about rape and lying and social media bullshit plus why everyone is a Republican. Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving!
Psychologist & controversy-machine Jordan Peterson-- love him, hate him, you can't unknow him. Casey and Jason blab eloquent about Peterson's bestseller 12 Rules for Life and its effects on relationships and autumn yard maintenance, plus the usual offensive things. Original photo by Gage Skidmore "Sylvia Plath" composed by Ryan Adams/Richard Causon. Performed by Jason McBrideOpening theme performed by Casey Judson & F. Le
Jason and Casey get on Facebook Live and talk moms, masturbation (in separate contexts... mostly), and The Lusty Lady. We answer reader mail about slut shaming and... and... what was that other thing... oh yeah- Casey can sing! All this in 45 minutes of scintillating and hilariously-wrong talk. Enjoy! What? After a nine-month hiatus, Louis CK is doing comedy again?! And people are expressing their opinions?!! #UsToo! #UsToo! We may be adding to the problem, but we're way smarter than all those Twitter goons- and just as important! First guest! Musician and Tuff Shed overlord Fred Rock of Facing the Strange plays tracks from his upcoming album. Casey sings great and is amazing, and Jason gives everyone his cold. A good time was had by all. *cough* *cough* Download Fred's music here: https://roche-et-fille.bandcamp.com/releases
Sex war! Acting like a lady, important opinions about Aziz Ansari, roommate sodomy and other words you won't read!
Sophomore Ep! Jason and Casey talk "Jim & Andy," Doug Stanhope, pets, polyamory and how gross it is. Bonus: Casey suggests another title for the podcast for some reason. Photo by Jean-François Gornet, https://www.flickr.com/photos/jfgornet/4488535047/
Debut episode! Hosts Jason McBride and Casey Judson don't even know they're "Wrong Again" because the show hasn't been named yet. We're so silly. You know what else is silly? Stand-up comedy, except when a comedian seems really angry, which is why we were so intrigued by Hannah Gadsby's Netflix special, "Nanette." Nobody asked for our opinion, i.e. a perfect chance to do some good ol' fashioned mansplainin.'
