Jane Andrews, Clare McMath and Meaghan McLeod are Year 6 students at St Hilda's School on the Gold Coast Queensland, Australia. Each student spoke on their selected topics. Jane - How Robots Can Save the Planet. Clare - The Use of Good Manners to Improve the Way People Treat Each Other Around the World. Meaghan - The Use of Technology to Improve Education in Third World Countries. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
