We are two guys who teach high school band and we are here to share our experiences, a little bit of wisdom, and to have a good time. Joel & Stephen taught together for a year but then Joel up and moved to Pennsylvania and Stephen took over Joel's position in Oklahoma. Season 2 is a new adventure!
On this episode we talk about anxiety we see in our kids with special guest Vince Caruso. Vince posted recently on the band director facebook page about seeing a rise in student anxiety to the point where kids no longer come to school. It's a growing trend for sure. We talk about observations and some of the ways we have seen this manifest in our band programs.
