ASDA at WesternU Dental Podcast Series : Uncovery

Wellness is an important topic in dentistry, life, and in our day-to-day walk. Oftentimes, we tend to ignore our mental health, which may lead to more problems down the road. We are joined again by WesternU D2 Brandon Le, WesternU D3 Kamran Pakdamanian, and WesternU D4 Philip Tagatac who shares their thoughts and takes on wellness.

In this episode of Uncovery, we will discuss the basics of advocacy in the dental environment, what advocacy is, and why it should be important to you. Featured is UCLA dental student Bradley Mobeck, the ASDA District 11 Legislative Liasion. Originally filmed in November, ASDA's National Advocacy Month, Bradley Mobeck and Philip Tagatac introduce this presentation to pre-dental and dental students to understand advocacy.

In this series "Uncovery", our goal is to explore what ASDA's stance is on things while being able to explore the different sides of the subject. We would like to invite a safe space where students are free to discuss how they feel about these topics. This pilot episode will be an introduction to paying off student loans and what options students have to pay them down. It is the first of several episodes about student loans, and we hope to bring in more guests to share their take on these topics.
