This is part II of the conversation with Jean Lopez and June Brown. We were discussing self-confidence and the various things that can affect how you see yourself. I believe it will give you some great strategy how to start seeing yourself and how to move to the place of self-efficacy.
This episode is dedicated to you. We are discussing "self-worth." Understanding what self-worth is and how it affects who you are and your behaviors. Sometimes we allow people to speak negative things in our lives knowingly and/or unknowingly. We must be able to identify what could possibly affect us and stop us from being everything we are meant to be. We hope you enjoy this conversation. We have taken a serious topic and tried to really dive into the depths of your heart. At times we are light hearted and we laugh a lot. The laughter shows the camaraderie of three women who have been around for a while and have experienced things that could have taken a toll. However, as we discuss this topic, our prayer is for you to identify places in your life where change can take place so you can walk into your God-given purpose. Part II will air next week. We hope you like it -- if you a have questions or comments please feel free to reach out to us -- kathy.martin@ptcg.org. See you next week. Dr. Kathy
Dating is hard, period. But when you are you 20's and trying to be intentional with it, it can get a little hairy. We have a couple, both in their 20's, dating with intentionality, who are sharing part of their story. They share: i) how they met, ii) how one of them didn't think they were good enough for the other, iii) how they decided to just be great friends, iv) how they drifted apart, v) and the rest of the story. Some of the issues we discuss briefly are self-esteem, self-love, and having patience with yourself and your partner. I hope you enjoy it. We would love to hear your thoughts and of course if you have any ideas for other podcasts, just let us know. Enjoy!! Dr. Kathy Martin
I recently lost a dear sister/friend to COVID. So, another sister/friend of mine, June Brown, and I had a little talk about dealing with loss. I think you will like the spin that we put on it. It is timely information for those of us who have someone that may be dealing with Alzheimer's, an older family member, or even friends who may be encountering some type of abuse. This episode discusses quite a few areas of loss a person can experience. I hope you enjoy it. We have quite a few follow up topics planned out of this session.
Reintroducing the Podcast for 2021 as a place where there will be authentic conversations. Inviting you to engage with us, be comfortable with asking questions, becoming involved and letting us know how we're doing. We hope you like the topics and invite you to let us know what you would be interested in hearing about. Dr. Kathy Martin
