Today's guest is Jaclyn Johnson, a serial entrepreneur, investor, and the founder of Cherub, a new platform reimagining how early-stage founders and investors connect. Before Cherub, Jaclyn built and exited Create & Cultivate, leading her to over $25M of exits and cementing her as one of the most influential builders in modern women's business culture. In this conversation, we get into the real stuff behind the highlight reel, from navigating divorce and dating in the middle of a very public career, to the unsexy realities of selling a company, starting again, and figuring out what you really want your life to look like on the other side. We also talk about how she thinks about modern entrepreneurship, where the creator and founder worlds are colliding, and why building a brand that actually means something has never been more important.
This is a fan fav episode. Ladies, if you're like me then your woman's intuition is something that could use a little help. We try to read people we meet and in meetings, but the truth is we may be misreading a lot of people and missing a lot of potentially great relationships. What if I told you that you may be misreading as many as 26 people for every 100 you meet? First impressions matter and learning how to read cues and verify if your gut is telling you truth or not is a skill we can learn and my homie, Vanessa Van Edwards, the charismatic human behavior detective and recovering socially awkward person, is giving us a masterclass on how to decipher the hidden secrets behind the smile, the handshakes, and quirky quirks that seem like red flags to run away from. Dating isn't easy, but we're making it super easy in this 2 part episode by breaking down: *What body cues mean ask more questions *How to speed read your date (and yourself) *What he's hiding behind those dreamy bedroom eyes that you should watch out for Original air date: 6-21-2023 Follow Vanessa Van Edwards: Website: https://www.scienceofpeople.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/VanessaVanEdwardsYT/featured Twitter: https://twitter.com/vvanedwards Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vvanedwards/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/vvanedwards/ Learn more about your ad choices. In the Wild West that is dating apps, women are increasingly turning to novel ways of protecting themselves. Online groups such as Are We Dating The Same Guy, offer women a platform to share bad and even criminal experiences of dating. Broadcaster and journalist Mary Mandefield investigates the groups in a new Channel 4 documentary, Red Flags: Are We Dating the Same Guy? UNTOLD. So, Jen caught up with Mary to chat about the film, the groups, why women are using them, and if they themselves are entirely ethical. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In this intimate, grounded conversation, Lauren and Trey explore the truth about women dating shorter men, what culture tells us, what we internalize, and how couples can rewrite the scripts they've inherited. Lauren is about an inch taller than Trey without heels, and she often wears heels at his request. Their dynamic opens the door to a deeper look at how lived experiences, early messages, ego, and desire shape the attractions we feel in adulthood. They talk about how every one of us is a sexuality educator, whether we mean to be or not. The ways we speak about bodies, preferences, and turn-ons either extend permission or reinforce shame. This leads into a meaningful discussion on the difference between sexual preferences and kinks, and why labeling something a “kink” often reflects cultural discomfort more than personal truth. To ground the conversation, they offer this clear definition:“Kink or kinky is seen as an umbrella term for sexual counter-culture, meaning that it goes against the mainstream, vanilla society. Whereas a fetish refers to a specific object, behavior, body part, or fantasy that is necessary for a person to achieve sexual enjoyment or arousal, but it's not always required to be physically present. There is often overlap between kinks and fetishes and sometimes the two terms are used interchangeably to describe a unique turn-on. But, unlike a fetish, a kink is not required for arousal, only preferred or enjoyed.”Lauren and Trey also explore the inner work required to go against cultural expectations while gently naming that it is absolutely OK to have preferences. If this conversation resonates, please like, comment, and share the episode. And if you're wanting support around embodied attraction, sexual preferences, or relational dynamics, you're invited to request a free consult with Lauren at www.sexedforyou.com/freeconsultIdeal for couples in long-term partnerships who want deeper intimacy, more desire, and better sex.About Us: Lauren and Trey are partners living in Central Virginia where Lauren owns and operates, SEX ED FOR YOU. Disclaimer: We are not professionals. This podcast is opinioned based and from life experience. This is for entertainment purposes only. Opinions helped by our guests may not reflect our own. But we love a good conversation. In this 2 Be Better Podcast episode, Chris and Peaches walk you through a full list of cheating apps for 2025, from “news” and calculator clones to secret chat apps, vaults, and full blown spyware designed to hide affairs. They break down how apps like disguised news feeds, private messengers, secret calculators, vault stock, private message boxes, and hidden photo folders actually work, including fake icons, decoy vaults, self destructing chats, and notifications that look like harmless news alerts. They also cover spying tools like Spynger, GPS spoofers, keyloggers, and screen recorders marketed as “catch a cheating spouse” apps, and talk bluntly about how dangerous this tech is when it gets into the hands of controlling or abusive partners. From there, the conversation shifts to what all of this really means for trust, infidelity, and emotional safety in relationships. You will hear hard truth on online cheating, porn as a form of infidelity, anxiety and BPD spirals, and why if you are tempted to install a spy app on your partner's phone, the real issue is that the relationship is already broken. Chris and Peaches give you a clear framework for when to leave instead of snooping, how to own your insecurity and start healing, and how to protect your kids from the dark side of smartphones with things like kid safe phones and simple tools like AirTags instead of handing them full internet access. If you are searching for “cheating apps 2025,” “secret messaging apps,” “how to catch a cheater,” “hidden vault apps,” or answers about privacy, trust, and boundaries in marriage and dating, this video will give you clarity, language, and a path forward instead of feeding your paranoia.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/2-be-better--5828421/support.

In this replay from Season 1 Episode 9 of the 2 Be Better Podcast, Chris and Peaches tackle the real side of traditional marriage, trauma, and mental health with raw, unfiltered honesty. They respond to criticism about their appearance, talk openly about troubled pasts, depression, suicidal thoughts, and why they choose to show up for “the broken” instead of trying to impress people who already have perfect-looking lives. You'll hear powerful conversations about validation, why feelings are information and not weakness, why suffering in silence destroys people, and how a single moment of listening and empathy can literally save a life. This episode is for anyone searching for real talk on healing, self-worth, faith, and taking ownership of your life instead of staying stuck in victim mentality. They also dive deep into sex and intimacy in marriage, including high vs low libido, sexless marriages, weaponized intimacy, nagging, and what it really means to be a stay-at-home wife in a traditional, faith-centered relationship. You'll hear coaching around lazy partners who won't work, setting timelines for change, financial stress, postpartum depression and creative burnout, grief after losing a parent, and how to let your husband lead in finances without losing your strength as a woman. Expect straight-forward marriage advice, practical communication tools, real examples from listener emails, and tough-love guidance on boundaries, leadership, submission, respect, and rebuilding attraction in your relationship.Disclaimer: We are not professionals. Young men are in freefall — and society's paying the price. Scott Galloway is here to explain the data behind the collapse and offer potential solutions.Full show notes and resources can be found here: jordanharbinger.com/1250What We Discuss with Scott Galloway:Young men are experiencing an unprecedented decline, with higher rates of suicide, addiction, homelessness, and incarceration than any other demographic. Yet discussing this crisis triggers reflexive pushback, even though addressing it doesn't diminish the legitimate struggles women and minorities continue to face. When boys lose male role models through death, divorce, or abandonment, the outcomes are devastating. They become more likely to be incarcerated than graduate college, unlike girls, who maintain consistent outcomes in single-parent homes. Boys are neurologically and emotionally more fragile than we've been willing to admit.Elite universities have abandoned their mission as public servants and repositioned themselves as luxury brands, creating artificial scarcity that's pulling up the ladders of opportunity. America's ethos should be watering as many acorns as possible, not sorting teenagers into winners and losers at 18.The three drivers of romantic attraction for men are signaling resources, intellect (best communicated through humor), and kindness — and kindness is the most underleveraged. Women instinctively seek mates who'll protect them during vulnerability — being kind to strangers signals good character far more than being nice to her.Put away the scorecard in your relationships. Stop tracking who gave more and instead ask: what kind of friend, partner, or son do I want to be? The happiest people aren't those who are loved most, but those who find others who let them give the most love. And much more...And if you're still game to support us, please leave a review here — even one sentence helps!
