Bone Tired is a podcast about providing care to a loved one and life during the pandemic. Every week I share an essay that talks about the ups and downs I face as a full time caregiver to my 94 year-old father in law, while at the same time, being separated by distance and circumstance from my spouse. Having never had children, being a caregiver did not come naturally to me. The learning curve was steep; the bumps along the way were frightening, but the rewards have been tremendous. With time, my father in law and I have developed a routine that works and deep love and appreciation of one another. Bone Tired chronicles my day to day experiences and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. This poignant, moving and sometimes humorous slice of life is written, produced and presented by Elizabeth Versace. The executive producer is Franchesca Werden. Our music is composed by Joseph Carrillo. You can find us at bonetiredpodcast.com and bonetiredpodcast.co.uk .
