Episode 73: Psst, content design is about to have a major momentIn 2025's final episode of Content Rookie, I introduce you to what I have coined the ”roguessance” of content design.I truly believe content design is about to have a major moment, thanks to developments like Google Disco redefining how we design and build experiences and interfaces as a whole. What are suddenly the most valuable skills on the market? Content strategy. Content systems. Clear comms. Prompting. Negotiating. Who does that best? Well, we content folks, of course! Why the latest developments in LLMs and AI are leveling the playing field for builders, writers, and designers, and how we can take ownership, are just some of the learning outcomes in this episode.Happy New Year, and thanks for listening to Content Rookie!Connect with the host, Nicole Michaelis:nicoletells.comhi@nicoletells.comhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/nicoletells/

What are the perfect ingredients for a stress-free Christmas? How do you render the Arctic in song? And what does it sound like when we drink from each other's teats? … Just three of the hot topics being debated in our annual festive knees-up! Joining Olly Mann, Alix Fox and Ollie Peart this year, we welcome back family mediator Nick Coffer - who confronts the strains of a post-divorce Christmas with compassionate advice - and we enjoy extraordinary live music from cellist and poet Sarah Smout. Plus, fresh updates from some of our favourite guests of 2026: Rebecca Dowdeswell, the woman who took on L'Oreal; Armin Samii, who created distance-monitoring app UberCheats; and wildland firefighter Nathan Bell. Until our next episode on January 10th, have a fantastic Christmas, a very Happy New Year, and - if you can afford to - remember to support our independent podcast to fund another great year of the show. x Olly, Alix, Ollie and Producer Matt P.S. Dear friend, Welcome to the last episode of the year. December 2025 marks the 100th episode of our monthly show, and to celebrate this milestone, we had to do something special. As I was preparing for this episode, I had the opportunity to go back and listen to some forgotten gems that surely stamped their mark in my life. I'd like to think that music is like that; it stamps a mark in our souls. It freezes time in our memories so we can relive those moments. So, for today, that is what I did: I went back since the inspection of the show in 2017 and selected some of my personal favorites. Unfortunately, I was unable to play all of the tracks I had intended, but the ones that I made here is special, and I was very pleased with it. Steve Jobs famously said in his Stanford Commencement Address that you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. As I grow older and look further back in my own life, I see that quote shaping each moment as the years go by. For me, this is also true with music. In these short eight years of this radio show, I observed how electronic music evolved, and how I also evolved with it. Even more so, when I go back to 2003 when I first started, things were so different back then. After all these years, I still get very excited about this music. Like a little kid in the candy store. I also like thank you for being here with me all these years or if you recently recovered the show. I truly appreciate you, I see you, and I thank you. So for today, as we close the year, I hope you enjoy this special extended 4-hour show. Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. We want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! This is the last episode of season five. On this episode we are talking about the haunted Cresent Hotel and how ghost appear during Christmas time. We are also talking about how Dec. 25 is one of the best nights to talk to a loved one that has passed away because the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest. We have a story about a guy who was vistited by his mom on Christmas. We are also talking about some of the traditions that take place during the Yule like telling scary stories. Finally we we have been seeing and hearing some crazy stories of Gargoyle sightings and encounters taking place in Chicago recently. We will be taking a short break to spend time with our family but will be back with season 6 on Jan. 23!"Remember, curiosity did't kill these Two Scaredy Cats!"Support the showThanks for listening and follow us on Instagram and YouTube @twoscaredycatspodcast

Rolling into December comes the last edition of UP! for 2025. This has been a great year for music with new artists shining through and some classics getting new club makeovers. The set kicks off with an amazing 7th Heaven remix of "I Like The Way" by Karina and then slides into a funky house mix of "Turn Up The Volume" by DJ Juanito from their limited Extended Love EP. The always awesome Division 4 delivers two thumping mixes for David Guetta and Lady Gaga respectively with Henriq Moraes featuring two remixes for Demi Lovato and Kylie Minogue later in the set. I was very fortunate to receive two advance copy remixes from Russ Rich and Andy Allder with their hauntingly beautiful remix of "Opalite" by Taylor Swift. This was followed up by Dirty Disco's (aka DJ Mark De Lange) remix of Taylor Swift's "The Fate Of Ophelia." Both are so exceptional, I had to feature them on this mix. They are always so generous with sharing their exclusive remixes in advance and I can't thank them enough. The set closes out with some high energy remixes from Will Darling and Nick Bertossi. New editions of UP! coming in 2026, so stay tuned. HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. EnjoyAnthony1/ "I LIKE THE WAY" (I LIKE IT) (7th Heaven Remix) - LEWIS MARTINEE ft. Day 4 of the Brian Walshe murder trial delivered some of the most damaging evidence yet — and it all comes down to what he was searching on Christmas Day 2022. According to testimony from Massachusetts State Trooper Connor Keefe, Brian Walshe's phone was used to search "Ana Walshe found dead" on December 25th, 2022 — a full week before the defense claims Ana died suddenly in her sleep after a New Year's Eve party. That same day, he searched for William Fastow, the man Ana was having an affair with, along with Ana's workplace and colleagues. William Fastow took the stand today and testified about his intimate relationship with Ana. He described a woman who was planning to leave her husband, who felt trapped by Brian's ongoing legal troubles, and who was devastated that she couldn't be with her children. Fastow said they were planning a future together — discussing what the next one, three, five, and ten years would look like. The last time Fastow heard from Ana was a Happy New Year's text at midnight on December 31st. After that, silence. When Brian called Fastow on January 4th to ask if he'd seen Ana, Fastow said he sounded calm — almost casual — like nothing was wrong. Prosecutors also showed surveillance footage from an Abington apartment complex on January 3rd, 2023. The video shows a man getting out of a Volvo consistent with Brian's vehicle, throwing a trash bag into a dumpster, and driving away. Cell phone data placed Brian at three different apartment complexes with dumpsters that same afternoon. The defense wants the jury to believe this is all the result of panic after discovering his wife dead. But panic doesn't explain searching to see if your wife has been "found dead" a week before she supposedly dies. Trooper Keefe returns for cross-examination.

Our Reimagined Life: Empowering Me, You, and Us Seeking Happiness and Self Worth
As we get close to wrapping up 2025, I've been reflecting on how easy it is to let one year slide right into the next without really noticing the growth, the lessons, or the quiet miracles that carried us. For so many years, that was my story—years blending together, a quick “Happy New Year,” and then right back into the routine. But something shifted in me over the last decade. I realized I don't want to simply exist through my years… I want to LIVE them. Fully. Intentionally. With meaning and purpose. And that's what today's episode is all about, ending the year with a WOW. In this episode, we walk through what it looks like to end the year intentionally—with reflection, clarity, courage, and celebration. I talk about writing a letter to myself to acknowledge my accomplishments, the things that didn't go as planned, the lessons I learned, and what I want to carry into the next year. I also share what I've learned about creating WOW moments on purpose: WOW years don't happen by accident. I can't wait to hear how you plan to make 2026 your WOW year! If this episode encourages you, I'd love for you to share it with another woman who might need this message, or leave a review at ratethispodcast.com/ourreimaginedlife so more can find this space and walk this journey with us. I'll see you next week. I love you.

As we step into Advent and the first days of a new liturgical year, I've been reflecting on how this season invites us to slow down, simplify, and refocus on the Lord. Stepping into this season also brings up something I see constantly in coaching and in my own home: distraction. Our kids wander off, lose focus, read a book instead of doing chores, or get sucked into the chat box during an online class instead of paying attention to the teacher. And nothing sends a homeschool mom through the roof faster than when your kid isn't doing what they should be! But what I've come to understand, through a lot of prayer, trial, and humility, is that when I'm going ballistic, I'm the one who's actually distracted. I'm distracted by an ideal. Distracted from the here and now. Distracted from my real work. Grab your earbuds to join me for a powerful episode where I'm going to share some strategies to help you and your kids to focus more, but of course deep down, we are going to be talking about how to calm down. How to refocus. How to listen. How to create compassion and connection. And how to step into the mission that God has placed on your unique heart to raise and educate these children to become great saints one day. Join me right now for: How to Solve the Problem of Distraction. Swap out your unwanted thoughts with 30 more powerful ones HERE! Come work with me for 20% off with code HAPPYNEWYEAR . With the new year approaching, it's traditional to come up with a resolution that'll better our lives in the year ahead. I'm not the biggest fan of them, but they can work and change lives if implemented correctly. Using my own past faults, I've listed 5 of the biggest mistakes made when deciding on a resolution for the new year. I have also listed what's worked for me (and others) in the past when it comes to planning this lifestyle change as well as one specific new year's resolution everyone should have at some point in their lives. Thanks to those who listen!Contact Mike:Mike Sinopoli - NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition CoachInstagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn: @mfswellness email: mike@mfswellness.comphone: 630-361-4907www.mfswellness.com

As we head into a season full of special occasions, extended family dynamics, and old patterns, I've been thinking a lot about boundaries, forgiveness, reconciliation, and what it actually means to be self-sacrificing. We all need better boundaries, especially with the people outside our immediate home during the holidays, because boundaries are vital for protecting our peace. But so often, boundaries feel bad because we confuse protecting our peace with being selfish. We get told to "offer it up" and "serve others," and while those are beautiful invitations, how we go about doing that matters just as much as the actions we take In today's podcast episode I explore the difference between harboring a grudge and simply being guarded, the distinction between forgiveness and reconciliation, and why you can forgive someone fully and still not want them present in certain spaces of your life. And how setting healthy boundaries to protect your peace can be an act of unconditional love. Because Christ calls us to unconditional love, not servitude. Self-sacrificial love is intentional, it bears good fruit. If the fruits of your actions are guilt, shame, resentment, or emotional turmoil, that's a sign you might be acting sacrificial, not being sacrificial. And we talk sort through it all in today's value-packed episode! So, if you're wrestling with grudges, navigating historically hard family dynamics, and dreading the upcoming holidays (or even just homeschooling today), then grab your earbuds and join me for: Boundaries, Forgiveness, and Being Self-Sacrificial. The holidays are supposed to be merry and bright…but let's be honest sometimes they're messy, loud, and full of that one relative who tests everyone's patience. In this episode, Patty and the crew dive deep into the age-old question:“Do you let dysfunctional family behavior slide for the season… or call it out?” From the aunt who always starts drama, to the cousin who brings an unexpected plus-one, to the family member who loves to revisit old wounds between bites of mac & cheese. The crew shares their stories, strategies, and boundaries. We talk:✨ Holiday triggers and why they flare up✨ How to keep the peace without losing your mind✨ When to speak up — and when silence is golden✨ Protecting your peace WITHOUT being the Grinch✨ How millennials approach family conflict vs. older generationsIt's honest, funny, and healing — just in time for the holidays.
