In this podcast episode, I'm joined by Lurch and Patreon Member (and Indian Motorcycle rider) Anthony Peters. We talk about the big announcement that Polaris sold off it's majority ownership of Indian Motorcycles. In one of the biggest shake-ups the motorcycle world has seen in years, Polaris has announced that it's selling a majority stake in Indian Motorcycle to the private equity firm Carolwood LP. This move has many riders and industry insiders asking the same question — is Indian Motorcycle in trouble, or are they gearing up for something big? It's a bold, unexpected shift that could either ignite new growth or put the brand in a risky position. Let's take a closer look at what's really happening and why it matters. SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE According to Polaris, this separation will allow both companies to focus more strategically on what they do best. For Polaris, that means doubling down on its most profitable segments: off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, and boats. Indian Motorcycle only accounts for about 7% of Polaris' total annual revenue — roughly $478 million. By selling Indian, Polaris expects to increase annual earnings by $50 million and boost earnings per share by $1.00, which is a solid short-term win for shareholders. For Indian, this could mean more freedom to innovate and make faster decisions without having to compete for corporate attention within Polaris' massive portfolio. On this episode, James Nash returns to do what he does better than just about anyone in this community, and that's bring his immense curiosity to bear on a variety of topics. You'll hear a harrowing hunting story from his first trip to Africa, his lessons learned over his elk guiding career, that to date, has resulted in roughly 150 bull elk tags cut, his perspectives on the gear that really matters, and why when push comes to shove, the best thing you can do is just get started, whether that's in hunting or some other goal you've set your sights on. NOTABLE QUOTES: “My best guess is that 50% - 60% of elk that are hit with arrows are not recovered and it could be higher than that. When I talk to outfitters, their experience is about 50% and that's with professional guides who are going to be looking extremely hard for those animals.” @6ranchoutfitters --------------------------- DEALS & PARTNERS: For over 100 years Leica has set the standard for premium optics. Recorded during the High Holy Days, after catching up on sensitivity, innocence, hard surfaces, insect bites, and fasting, Cori attempts to school Nina in who is and is not “really Jewish,” obnoxious as only a fresh convert can be. So we get into a long-winded discussion about faith, culture, foundational literature, the Torah, contradictions, G*d's face vs backside, the Ramayana, and more. Finally we circle back to Genspect's 2025 conference and how tired Nina is of manipulating people through empathy. Was Nina's father a Jew? Are atheists really shallow? Why is Cori suddenly trying to be “Good”? And to whom is he referring when he mentions animal control and getting arrested? Tired of that one nightmare client who's costing you money and sanity? This episode is your guide to firing bad landscaping clients professionally and protecting your business profitability. Every landscaping business owner has that one customer who makes your stomach drop when their name pops up. They nitpick every job, constantly question your prices, and treat you like "the help." Scott is breaking down the real cost of keeping toxic clients—it's not just annoying, it actively drains your team's time, your profits, and your mental energy. You'll learn how to tell the difference between a picky customer and a truly toxic one, and the necessary steps to take before you hit "send" on that breakup text. We cover setting clear boundaries, having one final conversation, and how to fire a client like a business pro (not an emotional mess) to keep your reputation clean. We also dive into the five biggest red flags to watch out for so you can start getting pickier before the job even begins. Remember: the goal isn't to work for everyone; it's to work for the right clients who respect your time and your price.

Kalli also walks through what gentle detox really means, the role of your body's key cleansing systems, and how small daily habits can help you feel more balanced, clear, and energized over time. In this episode, you'll learn: What it means when your body feels “tired but wired” How organs like the liver, kidneys, and gut naturally support detoxification Why consistency—not extremes—creates lasting results How foundational products like VMG+, EO Mega+, PB Restore, and RevitaZen+ Complex fit into your daily routine Three simple, sustainable habits to help your body reset
Apparently, choosing not to drink now makes you controversial. In this episode, Shane dives into the cultural weirdness around sobriety — why quitting alcohol freaks people out more than drinking too much, how clear-headed men are suddenly being called “radical,” and what this says about masculinity, culture, and freedom in 2025. From The Guardian's recent article “Mocktails for MAGA: Why the US Right Is Turning Sober” to the growing trend of men reclaiming their focus, faith, and families, Shane breaks down why a simple glass of sparkling water can now spark a political debate. You'll laugh, shake your head, and probably think twice about why society celebrates dysfunction and ridicules discipline. Because here's the truth, sobriety isn't extreme. It's clarity. It's leadership. It's power. And in a world that glorifies chaos, staying sober might just be the most rebellious move you can make. Key Takeaways Don't let culture define your character — “normal” isn't always right. True masculinity isn't about how much you can drink, but how much you can carry. Staying sober isn't weakness — it's the foundation of real freedom and clarity. Join the Movement If you're ready to level up your mind, health, and leadership:

Tired of ADHD strategies that don't work? Here's what actually does. FREE training here: https://programs.tracyotsuka.com/signup_____Nicole Bela was brilliant at her job. She could read a room in seconds, remember every donor's story, and raise millions for causes she believed in. But behind the polished professionalism, she was quietly unraveling. The same systems designed to do good were slowly breaking her down, and she couldn't understand why. After being diagnosed with ADHD at 37, just after the birth of her second son, Nicole finally had the missing piece. Suddenly, the patterns made sense: the anxiety that exercise once kept in check, the brain fog after Zoom meetings, the guilt of forgetting critical details while remembering someone's cat's name. What began as relief quickly turned into a mission. Nicole wrote a groundbreaking article for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, “Unmasking Burnout,” connecting the dots between masking, mental health, and why so many fundraisers, especially women, are burning out.In this conversation, Nicole and Tracy unpack why the nonprofit world may be full of undiagnosed neurodivergent professionals, how the pandemic exposed the cracks in traditional workplace culture, and what leaders can do to build real belonging. Nicole also shares how unmasking her ADHD changed the way she leads, works, and parents proving that inclusion starts when we stop pretending and start asking what people truly need to thrive.Resources:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/unmaskedartstudio LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicole-bela-msw-cfre-a484571b Send a Message: Your Name | Email | Message If this podcast helps you understand your ADHD brain, Shift helps you train it. Why would an out queer person in the Gay Liberation Days of the 1970s go to church? What church would they go to? And why would they stay? In the 1960s, and ‘70s, the separation between God and gays was not as vast as it seemed. Rev. Troy Perry started the first Metropolitan Community Church in his Los Angeles living room. Tired of flying to LA every week, a Navy veteran started the second one in a San Francisco gay bar. And the Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco was there for a young lesbian as she navigated spirituality, coming out, and her increasingly conservative family. When her friend got sick, she tried to be there for him. Church helped. For images and links about this episode visit https://www.heavenpodcast.org/episode-2. Get more Outward with Slate Plus! So you're having that same cellular turnover of the mitochondria, basically making the mitochondria in your skin act in a more youthful way.” “Even just after 2 weeks, we start to see improvements that are visibly noticeable. In this episode I chat with the lovely Erica Gwynn, author, podcaster, and mom about her new book That's Just Not True. She shares how easily we start believing lies about our worth, purpose, and identity. From the pressure to “have it all together” to the quiet voice that whispers “you're missing out” or “you're not enough,” the conversation dives deep into how these thoughts take root — and how God's truth brings freedom. Through honest stories and truth, Erica reminds us that you are not enough — but Jesus is enough. God hasn't asked us to do everything; He's gifted us to play our part in the body of Christ. Here is some of what we cover: Turning ordinary (or in between) moments into “breath prayers” Recognizing lies like: I'm missing out, I missed my shot, and I can manifest my dream life We talk about how mom's can make their kids their whole life and identity How to shift worldly affirmations to Godly affirmations How social media has become a place of “curated messy” and fake authenticity Connect with Erica Gwynn: Website: Popular Philadelphia Lifestyle Blog | Coming Up Roses Facebook: Coming Up Roses Instagram: Erica Ligenza Gwynn // PHILLY (@ericaligenza) Links Mentioned: That's Just Not True: By Erica Ligenza Gwynn You Are Special; by Max Lucado Must Be Nice Hat from Sidetracked Podcast Thrive Podcast | Coming up Roses Related Episodes: If You're Tired of Feeling Like You Don't Measure Up… :: Hosanna Wong [Ep 538] The Shift: Overcoming Self-Sabotage, Imposter Syndrome, and Critical Inner Monologues :: Mary Marantz [Ep 520] Unpacking Moms' Mental Load :: Dr. Morgan Cutlip [Ep 503] Featured Sponsors: Green Chef–Make this fall your healthiest yet with Green Chef.
