i was in berlin last month and being there gave me the last push i needed to make the set i've been wanting to make for the longest time. meet this. i don't quite know how to put in words how i feel about the berlin, all that i lived there, when i lived there or not. certainly not much beyond much of the clichéd sentences one can say. i'm not sure i did a good job at relaying that feeling onto the set, but ahm, i tried. mind the first track, which is truly an hidden gem. and the last. hope you like it. there were a few more tracks that i wanted to put in for what they meant, but they didn't really connect to the rest. maybe i'll include them in a second set - one that will be preceded by a far shorter post since i ran out of lameness for now. but please, enjoy.
it's summer so i thought i'd make some more of this. some of the tracks i included in this one are really, really good so i hope that makes it worth a listen, despite my mixing (which, to be fair, has seen worse days). enjoy! tracklist: 01. tom misch, poppy ajudha - disco yes 02. painel de controle - relax (extended waxist version) 03. paraíso - teu sorriso (jex opolis remix) 04. project pablo - closer 05. bibio - lovers carvings (catz n dogz edit) 06. silicone soul - right on right on 07. dele sosimi afrobeat orchestra - too much information (laolu remix edit) 08. underworld - born slippy (alma & mater edit)
spring is kicking in and as the last days here in bruges were so nice, i thought i'd make this and share with you. for some reason i stayed within only lusophone tracks/artists, but i think that'll be fine by you. :) this is a 'slowburning' kind of set, so it's all recorded at a very chill pace of 106 bpm. enjoy! :) tracklist: Xique-Xique - Protetores & Orixás (JPATTERSSON Trumpet Edit) Os Tincoãs - Deixa a Gira Girar (J&B Edit) Camila Costa - Ponto das Caboclas (Carrot Green Acid Mix) Selvagem - Portonic Por Favor Moullinex - Kassette
Bruges (Dutch: Brugge) is a town in Flanders, the northern part of Belgium. Relatively cosmopolitan and bourgeois given its compact size, it is one of the best preserved pre-motorised cities in Europe and offers the kind of charms rarely available elsewhere. Bruges is a postcard perfect stop on any tour of Europe. as the exam season is in full swing, i thought i'd procrastinate by doing another small set reflecting the cold dark weather of this town. it's half an hour of cold-but-cozy tunes, like bruges itself - enjoy! tracklist: Harrison BDP - it's foggy outside DJ Seinfeld - u Niles Cooper - toneklang Donatello, Arnas D - strangers Kassey Voorn - shine James Holden - i have put out the light
my first venture into lo-fi. it fits the rainy, windy weather i'm currently under. tracklist: dj psychiatre - our love is real mall grab - B.F.O.D.A.A.S. demuja - get up pierre moritz - aquecoucou dj windows xp - i cried last night slim hustla - night patrollin huerco s. - untitled (trp's acid cut)
I took a walk down memory lane and found this small set I did back in 2012, thought I'd share. It starts all mellow and soft with Alle Farben's beautiful edit of Daughter's Youth and it picks up the pace slowly but surely, ending in the spacey James Holden take on New Order's Someone Like You. The mixcloud link is also up, here: https://www.mixcloud.com/rodrigomvaz/puntzpatzpuntzpatz/ Enjoy! Tracklist: 01. Daughter - Youth (Alle Farben Remix) 02. Beirut - Nantes (Disco Gameplay Remix) 03. Arsenal - Estupendo (Gui Boratto Remix) 04. Jody Wisternoff - Lassoo 05. New Order - Someone Like You (James Holden Mix)
the concept being this miniset is, essentially, coldness. the tracks i put together here are meant to, together, pass a introspective mood; a cold, frosty atmosphere. it gets slightly more euphoric towards the end but, essentially, this is a tracklist for winterish, low-light times. image credits to pixalstalk.net tracklist: the concept being this miniset is, essentially, coldness. the tracks i put together here are meant to, together, pass a introspective mood; a cold, frosty atmosphere. it gets slightly more euphoric towards the end but, essentially, this is a tracklist for winterish, low-light times. image credits to pixalstalk.net tracklist: Drumcell - Speak Silence (Francesco Tristano Pianowave Remix) Rodriguez Jr. - Mistral (Original Mix) Bedouin - Now Or Never (Original Mix) Lindstrøm - Closing Shot (Original Mix)
