Self care habits should be effective enough to help one cope during challenging times. If what you are doing is not effective, it is high time you find something that works. How? I use a paradigm of problem solving nurses use to help you figure out how to find a habit that works and is effective. Music by Enya
Our self care habits might be ineffective during these times because of the increased demand on our mental health. Many people are anxious about; the spread of the disease, meeting basic needs without a source of income , caring for children at home or even having to work during the pandemic. On my end, keeping my newborn safe during these times is a challenge. I also speak of learning new ways to self care because previously learned habits are either not effective or I simply do not have the time to fulfill them. The good news is that we can always evolve and find new ways to self care at home in order to maintain a balance of mind, body and soul. Lets talk about how we can get through this together. PS: My baby coos in the background. We recorded this together. (I am sorry) ERRORS It's wash your hands for 20 seconds NOT minutes And its cut back the virus spread NOT cut in half haha
