What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul. Holy Week is a sacred time of the Christian calendar when we remember the final events of Jesus' life on earth. It is a time for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal. Eatonton First United Methodist Church offers these daily podcasts so that we might journey together with Jesus as He makes his way to death on a cruel cross, for our sake and for the sake of the world.  Each day music by Hannah Schwartz and Mary Alice Dennard that will invite us into God's presence. There will be a scripture lesson from the Gospel of John read by Karen Williamson followed by a few minutes for prayer and reflection. We will conclude each day with a prayer by Pastor David Wofford. We hope you will join us Monday through Friday, April 11-15 as we contemplate the wondrous love that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for us all.
