I am in a constant state of curiosity and wanting to learn more. People are so interesting to me and I love hearing different opinions on things that are on my mind a lot. My goal is to turn this into a huge open conversation where I can interact with people and possibly give advice! Listen to hear…
We are back to our regularly scheduled programming ladies and gents!!! I meant to post this last week but again, I forgot to schedule it. I promise to get back to posting weekly, so enjoy this episode. I haven't done one where I talk about whatever comes to mind, so here we are! I discussed my direction in life, recipe testing, and spring break, amongst other things. Hope this did something for you xoxo.
Hello my lovelies. This is an episode that is one of the nearest and dearest to my heart. Being a fitness instructor, I notice so much talk about looking a certain way when working out. I also notice so much of the same kind of person in the fitness industry and not enough inclusion. When I teach, I always change the conversation to focus on how the workout is making you feel, and think other fitness professionals should do the same. I really, truly hope this episode did something for you xoxo
My apologies for not posting last week. Although if I'm being real with myself, I'm sure no one noticed. Anyways, this episode was supposed to go up last week, but apparently I forgot to schedule it. In this episode I discuss what it means to be "pretty" and how warped our idea of beauty can be, even from a young age. I think y'all rock and are precious angels and I hope this did something for you xoxo
Hi y'all. Today we're taking a trip back to social media. I've touched on this topic before but there's always so much more to be said, especially when the world is changing so quickly every single day! In this episode I focus specifically on the reality of social media and to what extent we should believe and listen to the information we're exposed to. Hope this did something for you xoxo
Hello lovelies. Today, I dive deeper into a topic that I've touched on before. Since this past week was National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, I thought I'd discuss some of the common misconceptions and myths surrounding eating disorders. I also talk about things we need to do to be more open about them and give you a little more insight on my experience. Hope this did something for you xoxo
Hi lovelies, in this weeks episode my conversation is all about veganism. Still kind of all over the place, but at least we're focusing on one topic, right? I touched on vegans, ex-vegans, sustainability, leather, supplements, etc. Hope this did something for you xoxo
Hey y'all. In today's episode we discuss senoritis, first impressions, doctors, and medicine. I hope this did something for you xoxo
Hi again, on this weeks episode I got my shit together a little bit more and stayed on track with what I was talking about. Since Valentine's Day is this week, I thought I'd talk about how much I actually love Valentine's Day and you don't have to be in a relationship to celebrate love! I also discussed the cute but psycho trend that I literally don't understand at all. Hope this did something for you xoxo.
Hi everyone, I don't know what was wrong with me in this episode but I felt like I drank 5 cups of coffee. Mind you, I don't consume caffeine at all. Anyways, I talked a but about friendship in this episode along with numerous other things that crossed my mind. Hope this did something for you xoxo
Hello friends! I promise there's no tears in this weeks episode. Instead I talked about self-care and how it's a lot easier to practice than you think! I feel like face masks, baths, spa days, etc. are super trendy right now, but those things aren't always doable or in our price range, so I thought I'd give you some other options! Hope this did something for you, xoxo
I promise the title isn't clickbait. I did cry while recording this, but that's okay. I didn't want to edit it and act like it didn't happen. In today's episode I talked about life expectations, career paths, and the fitness industry. Hope this did something for you!
So on today's episode my brain was all over the place in the beginning, but I promise I get my shit together around 6 min. Today I talked about cleaning out your closet, shopping, pilates, and how to use social media in a healthy way.
So today's episode took a very food heavy turn but I also talked a good bit about friendship. We're all about balance here.
Hello and happy New Year! In this week's episode I discuss dating in NYC, my love for Peaky Blinders, New Year's Eve plans, and how I basically black out every time I record a podcast episode. Hope you enjoy, xoxo.
Welcome to another episode of 'Does This Do Anything For You?' where I discuss a phrase I don't understand, the importance of pooping, vulnerability, how dramatic I am with my hair, red roses, etc. It's really a great time y'all, hope you enjoyed!
Today I had my first guest ever (yayay!) Anna Geisa. Although we went to the same high school together, we didn't become friends until we connected over social media years out of high school! We talked body image, social media, celebrity status, fan girls, and more! This is my longest episode but definitely worth the listen, I think it's my fave to date! Thank you again to Anna for being my first guest.
Today we discuss my attempt at hiding my lisp, having crushes on people, sugar daddies, and apparently making out with Zac Efron. Let me know if this did anything for you.
Among other things, today I talked about Christmas movies that are so bad, they're good, Nj Transit, CBD oil doing nothing for me, and how to use your platform for good. Let me know if this did anything for you.
In today's episode some things I talked about were Thanksgiving, gratitude, and waste. If you've realized that my mind is wondering about a million things at once, then you know there were a lot of random tangents as usual.
Instead of having one single topic for this episode, I just talked about whatever came to my mind. Everything from societies infatuation of celebrities to my 21 year old grandma tendencies was discussed. I'm constantly thinking about a million things at once and I think this is a great example of that. Welcome to my personal therapy session, let me know what you thought of this style!
A lot of people ask me questions about veganism, so I thought I'd give you a little bit of insight in my vegan journey and the reasons why I went vegan. I hope that being more mindful and conscious of our actions becomes a bigger discussion!
I think a lot of people confuse being alone with being lonely, but those two things are very different. In today's episode not only do I discuss that and how important being alone is, but I also share a story of my mess of a morning so... enjoy!
This week I talk a little bit about the existential crisis I had before the semester started and how sometimes it might feel like our life should be going a certain way, but isn't. There is truly no one correct way to go through life and sometimes we all need a reminder of that.
Hello again sweeties. In this weeks episode I talked about insecurities, how we all have them, and how it's totally okay to have them. I also shared my insecurities with you and some stories from my self love journey. This is one of my favorites so far so I hope you enjoy
World Mental Health Day was last week, so in this episode I tried to voice my experience with depression, anxiety, and mental health as clearly as I could. I quickly realized that, that is not easy at all, but the stigma around mental health needs to be changed and access to help needs to be easier and more accepted.
Hi ya'll, I'm Caroline, and this morning I decided I wanted to start a podcast so that's what I did. In this first episode I just wanted to talk about the direction I see this going in and also discussed the positives and negatives of social media a little bit. I hope you, like, kind of enjoyed it.
