Duck Duck Goose

Duck Duck Goose is a radio play written by the students of The New World Children's Theatre.  Hank and Iris Amore, Aaron Gardener, Annie Fridy, Eleanor and Nick Amodio. Writing Coach:  Jexo aka Jeff Ingram The play begins in a park in Cedar City along the banks of the Cedar River.  The Ducks and The Geese are playing an innocent game of Duck Duck Goose, when a mean goose named King Steve decides to break the rules. Suddenly, the war between the ducks and the geese begins!  The ducks are determined to open up the blockade of the Cedar River so they can travel freely to the ocean to go fishing. The geese are determined to prevent the ducks from fishing in the ocean and they want to eliminate them if possible.  There are double agents, mac and cheese cannons, and a green bean energy drink that gives the soldiers superpowers.  And just when the outcome seems inevitable, Jorge, a character with a blue mohawk and no eyebrows, and who may, or may not, have legs, escapes from Area 51, and flies into the battle scene! Will Jorge save the day?  Will Jorge begin a new era of domination by aliens on planet earth.  Will Rico the blind rat, save the ducks from extinction?  Tune into Duck Duck Goose and prepare yourselves for a most wild ride...  

Bill and Melinda send out an army of zombies to take over cities around the globe. But our heroes on the case, and all they really want is a reason to celebrate. 

The Super Bowl halftime show is the perfect place for Bill and Melinda to unleash their plot to use nachos, and the tower of mind control, to take over the world. 

Our heroes learn about a dastardly delicious plot by Bill and Melinda to have people crunch through the Super Bowl, and each other's brains - will the kids destroy the Tower of Mind Control in time to stop them?

Our heroes greet waitress Billie Eyelash at the Cheesy Town Arcade, as they search for the Alien that has stolen Jorge's legs.  But Billie's father winds up with some unwanted answers.

The kids, Bob Ross and Cyclops go to Area 51 in search of Jorge's body, which presumably was hijacked by Aliens when they crossed the portal. 

A famous painter rescues the kids, and they all meet a one-eyed cyclops with some careful eating habits. 

Welcome to Arcade Cheezy Town, a production of the New World Children's Theatre, a project of Standing Rock Cultural Arts. Our students spent last winter and spring writing a play, but when the coronavirus pandemic hit we couldn't do a stage performance. So, we recorded it as a podcast instead! --------------------------------------------------------------- Our story begins in Arcade Cheezy Town, a place that's part diner, part arcade, run by an ambitious couple, Bill and Melinda, who believe they can take over the world by feeding nachos to the gullible citizens of Anytown, USA.   Three kids, Jose, Jorge, and Penny, are playing arcade games getting ready to order some nachos.
