This week I'm talking to Allan Lavigne about disclosure and it's implications. Bio Allan Lavigne is a former investigator for the Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization from 1974-1980. He went on to a two-pronged career path spanning more than 45 years, as both a Physical Security Specialist and Intelligence Analyst in the private sector, working closely with the Joint Terrorist Task Force, FBI and Homeland Security. He is also an entertainment artist. His early work can be seen in the 1979 documentary UFOs are Real for which A.P.R.O. was the sole technical advisor. Allan went on to create Make-up Special Effects appliances, masks, and props for NBC's Jack Web's TV series Project UFO for two seasons. He won the DC Comics Industry Award for his Arkham Asylum Batman costume. In more recent years, Allan has done work for Sony Pictures on Iron Man 1 and 2, Marvel Entertainment, Disney, Lucas Films and others. We take you to the Isle of Wight, where a quiet afternoon turns into something straight out of a fever dream…or a Stephen King novel. Two kids follow a strange, siren-like sound into the woods and come face to face with a bizarre, clown-like entity who introduces himself as “all colors, Sam.” Despite his inhuman movements and unusual appearance, Sam seems friendly, inviting them into his metallic hut and admitting that he's afraid of adult humans. As we dig deeper, the story expands into UFO sightings, with one child's father witnessing glowing lights in the sky and something watching him from beneath the ocean's surface. What starts as a strange childhood memory quickly spirals into a whimsical paranormal mystery that leaves us questioning reality by the end. Watch the video version here. It's time to take the podcast back to the Yautja's in the latest film in the Predator universe! This time though, the Predator's aren't on earth, nor are they hunting any humans, and there isn't a meaningful human to even speak of in this film!  " Predator: Badlands (2025) is a science fiction action film directed by Dan Trachtenberg that shifts the franchise focus by making a young, exiled Yautja (Predator) named Deck the main character. Set on a dangerous, hostile planet, Deck must prove his worth by surviving and hunting, eventually forming an unlikely alliance with a Weyland-Yutani android named Thia" It was always going to be a little tough to follow up the success of Prey which was the AMAZING Predator film that came before this one! BUT, while probably not as good as that movie, this still is not a film that you should sleep on! With Rotten Tomatoes scoring it in the high 80's, I promise that it's at least worth a first watch. While Prey was a fantastic movie, I will say that this film does a better job at opening up the universe to different worlds and to different species. It does well what the latest Alien show did well, which means that these movies don't always necessarily have to be Alien or Predator heavy, they can rely on some other cool monsters too!!
